As a female, I know how I have been scammed by mechanics. So I found true value in Christian Brothers Automotive-Peoria, Lake Pleasant Pkwy! Tom, and the entire staff served with a smile. Overall, I would highly recommend this Christian Brother Automotive to anyone. We'll stick with them!

Ken's Auto Repair I…read morerecently took my car to Ken's Auto Repair Service after getting an estimate from the dealership for nearly $5,000 worth of repairs and replacements. Since I don't drive a lot of miles, I wanted a second opinion before spending that kind of money. I heard about Ken's through word of mouth, along with all the great Google and Yelp reviews mentioning their honesty, fair pricing, and no-pressure approach. I'm glad I listened. They performed an oil and filter change and did a complete inspection of the areas the dealership claimed needed immediate repair or replacement. Ken's told me those items were actually fine and showed me the brake measurements, explaining that my brakes still have about half their life remaining. No scare tactics, no upselling -- just honest, straightforward service. The total bill came to just over $100. That alone says a lot about their integrity. This is truly the kind of trustworthy Mom & Pop auto repair shop that's hard to find anymore. The son and wife who took over after the original Ken ( the dad) retired and are carrying on a great reputation. Professional, honest, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest mechanic.

Especially because I've got a diesel and I know they require a special touch. Well, not only was I expecting the bill to be much higher but I honestly wasn't expecting to get it back until Thursday or even Friday. Turns out it was a sensor for the accelerator and they had it ready for pickup on Monday by 3pm! It drives BETTER than even before the problems began and I now know where to take it for my tune-up and maintenance like oil changes. Super thrilled with this place and will recommend them along with my buddies now.
