Dr. Tong has been the best dentist I've ever had. Sadly it appears he's sold his business. Does anyone know where he went???

Too much waiting time. Dentist left patient without notifying their break time. Unorganized and dirty offices.

It had been bothering me quite a bit, but Dr. Sadowski took such great care of me! We decided to place composite in the affected area to help prevent future staining, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I'm truly impressed with how everything turned out--such a noticeable difference. Highly recommend--one very happy patient!

Biltmore Commons has asked me to leave a review. I cannot in good faith say anything nice about…read morethis place. I am new to the area and was recommended to this practice. My old practice was a single dentist, a few dental assistants and a receptionist. You spend your entire visit with the dentist and he provides you an honest summary of your visit. The total visit is under a half hour. Biltmore Commons has 6 Dentists and at least that many dental hygienist and more dental assistants and receptionists. You spend the majority of your visit with your hygienist and about 2 minutes with the dentist. Because there is so much overhead you get a Spirit Airlines experience where you are constantly getting upsold nonsense. The hygienists are more like used car salesmen than people who clean your teeth. I have been to this place twice and they have tried selling me laser treatment ($100) night guards ($800), Invisilign, a Waterpick ($120), an additional cleaning, and they were going to try to sell me an electric toothbrush if I didn't already have one. The hygienists don't give up the entire visit until you say yes to something. The dentist never says you need any of these things. I never went through with any of these scams. And I will not be going to Biltmore Commons ever again. My first visit was 2 hours (with x-rays) and my second was almost an hour (without x-rays). I have a life and my time is not valued. My recommendation is to find a dentist with less overhead where they can pay for their practice with just regular dental work and not ancillary products.

They had so many great reviews that I had to check it out. Such a beautiful office and wonderful people working there. The hygienist, dental assistant and the dentist were all so wonderful. No shaming over the state of my teeth. No pushing services I didn't want just a really good cleaning. I had a gum issue that we talked about fixing and they gave me the amount after insurance and I was able to schedule for the next week. Again a great experience. I highly recommend checking them out. Especially if you're sensitive about the state of your teeth and want staff that cares not shames.

Though the ownership has changed, the level of care has not, and may have improved. For instance, they recommended I get a retainer to prevent issues down the road. I travel here from 30 miles away just to get a cleaning, as I used to live next door. They seem to be cutting edge on their technology, and the doctor is friendly. The only issue I wish they would improve is parking communication. I always have trouble finding a spot and don't know where their deck is to park at, and by the time I'm leaving it's too late. The front desk staff is friendly and nice and I've never had an issue with billing. My wife has been to different dentists that wanted to bill for phantom cavities but this place has never done that to me. They are honest and good.

I explained this on my first call in to Brittany at the front desk. I then found out I have to wait a month due to office policy to see them. I then get a call 1 day before my appointment that I was not setup yet. I explained again I don't understand hmo well and they stated I needed to call my insurance. Then waited a month to find out the day off still not moved and then I put them and insurance on a 3 way call. I was already setup but they didn't have me on the registration list. The insurance company explained this was the office not them. This was my first red flag. I am excited a few months in to get a cleaning finally I thought. Nope, I get 1.5 hours of xrays and scans. They state I have no cavities but my gums are having issues and need my root canal tooth rescanded and need a deep cleaning (even though i had a cleaning 4 months ago and 12 years no cavities). I have a 2 week trip to Netherlands coming and explained this but go to get the recommended scan of my tooth that cost me 200$ out of pocket and no cleaning still. This is the last I speak to a human and next six times I call in I get a text message back and will attach the screenshot of some of it. Over and over told I will get a call back due to questions about the cleaning and future work. I am in shock after trying to talk to a human for 3 weeks they only call me on time after I told them I was going to travel at 3 am local time there to leave a voicemail. I then called back that day 3 times and never got through. Then called and texted when I got home for 3 days in a row. This is a ton of calling and texts about something I explained I have anxiety about to get no response. I travel alot for work and don't have time for an office that can't make me a priority. I now have to start over next month with new dentist after my next trip. Ps I know they have a service that will respond to this message with "sorry for your experience and we apologize for the inconvenience " just like they did when I was calling over and over ro get help.

This dental office is open at 8am and they were late calling us back for our *9am* appointment by more than 45 minutes. I asked three times when we were going to be seen, once about 15 minutes past the appointment time, again at 30 minutes past my appointment time and then at 45 minutes past. They told me, "we are short staffed" then they told me "we are dealing with children who don't cooperate" then they told me "there are families with appointments that are ahead of you who brought in multiple children." I told them that I'll be looking for a new dental office who can properly staff and schedule appointments. The front desk's nonchalant response of "if that's what you would like, it's your choice" was less than impressive on the customer service front and super unhelpful. At this point, there were currently five other children sitting in the office with their parent and every one of them are also waiting for their past due appointment. This is not the first time they have had issues keeping appointments on time and this time they weren't even close to it. I seriously considered walking out at this point, but then I'd have to take even more time off from work and make the effort to call around, find a dentist with availability and I just don't have the time to do this today, so I waited longer. I'm finally sitting in the back room, currently 1 hour past our scheduled start time and the tech gives me the usual take home bag with floss, toothbrush, etc. and as they hand it to me, they apologize saying that they "ran out of kids toothbrushes" and they have only adult brushes. Honestly, I couldn't care less whether they have a new toothbrush in the bag because I can spend the $3.99 on my own at the grocery store for a new kids brush, but I seriously question how a *children's* dental office ran out of *children's* toothbrushes? This office has some major customer service issues, a lack of forethought and planning and an inability to keep to their own schedules. I would have much preferred they Just called me to cancel my appointment, push it back by an hour or reschedule if they were having problems keeping their schedule rather than keep me waiting as long as they did. Some of us have to work in order to pay for our time at the dentist and the lack of regard for my time means I am having to go apologize to my employer for being longer than expected out of office in addition to taking another hour of time from my sick / PTO bank. I will say that the dental technician and the dentist today were both friendly, which is always comforting to nervous children, but they did only seem to spend about 7 minutes on today's cleaning and another 5 with the after cleaning consult and review. I know that young children have only about half the teeth that an adult does, but... 7 minutes of attention?!? I just don't think there was much value in the service we received and I will certainly not be back to find out if they resolve these ongoing issues, my 5 year old is not your work in progress. Sincerely, an ex customer currently seeking new children's dentist.
