Initially, he couldn't find the right records (searching online) relating to its purchase. I had no receipt because I'd loaned my car to my step-son for over a year and he'd been the one to buy the battery. No records to review, the O'Reilly guy wasn't able to help at that point. I decided to put it on hold until I could talk to my step-son and get particulars on the purchase. I left the store but before I even got home, I got a call from O'Reilly's. The guy telling me he'd kept after the research and found what he needed to honor the warranty. That's pretty cool he pursued the issue on his own. Got a new battery = Happy Ending.
