He patched the roof to stop it from leaking (didn't charge me at that time), and came back after the impending rain and repaired it the proper way. I asked him when I would need a new roof, and he told me 10-15 years, which is right at what I had figured (didn't try to sell me a roof I didn't need). I supplied the materials, and he gave me a big discount. The three parts that he did need, he picked up, at his cost, and didn't upcharge on them. Only reason it is a 4 star review instead of 5 is that he told me he would be back on Tuesday, and didn't show up until nearly a week later than he said. This was okay, because the leak was stopped, but there was no call back to me to let me know that he wasn't coming that day. I will call Ammex again, and can recommend that you do the same.

David Thomas, Thomas and Thomas Concrete, was recommended to me by a Bowling Green KY based Pool…read moreand Spa company when I purcahsed a Hot Tub/Spa. I called the number given and left a voice mail. I was called later that same day and spoke with Mr. Thomas and arranged to meet him at our residence the next day (Monday) so he could see the intended work area and provide a bid for the work. We met at the intended time and discussed the project. Mr. Thomas provided a written quote that evening and began work Tuesday morniing. The price was MORE than FAIR. His job site was maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Mr. Thomas prepped the area, removing excess soil and grass, made sure the site was level and built forms. On Wednesday he spread stone and drilled/pinned a stretch of sidewalk adjacent the work site to mitigate the slab from moving as it aged. He placed rebar strategically to ensure the concrete would support the weight of a hot tub when it was full and functioning. Concrete was delivered Thursday wtihout incident, after it set a while Mr. Thomas stamped and died the concrete to look like a continuous slab slate (it looked amazing). On Friday, Mr Thomas and his assistant returned to the jobsite to disassemble the forms, clean the jobsite (including our Trex pool deck) and seal the concrete. Bottom line is simply, our work was performed in a professional workmanlike manner. Mr. Thomas and his assistant were friendly, courteous and above all, focused on pleasing their customer. Rest assured I would highly recommend Mr. THomas for any form of concrete work that is needed. For what it's worth, he'll be returning to our home later this Summer (or early Fall) to repair shoddy work that was performed by another contractor several years ago. Yes, Mr. Thomas is THAT GOOD. If anyone reading this as they contemplate using Mr. Thomas, please feel free to reach out to me. I'll be happy to discuss any concern that exists.
