She has really went above and beyond with professionalism and customer service as a new client. Upon arrival, make sure you are at the right side of the building , you have to pass the first lobby and then you will see the dental sign. The office was very clean, high end technology and everyone who worked there was friendly. There was no wait upon check in (which is almost rare with any doctors office), my hygienist was friendly and knowledgeable! &&& *drumroll* , the dentist came in right as I finished also with no wait. Dr. Kim presented with great bedside manner. He was personable , professional , very honest in answering questions pertaining to other procedures without a "pushy must do" attitude and I was definitely in and out in under an hour. And yes, for those who care, you do get dental goodie bags! I'm glad I was able to get in as a new client and even booked my next 2 appointments for next year due to a last minute cancellation . Highly recommend

It took 12 visits for Dr. Henry to replace one crown that I'm not even sure needed to be replaced…read more The first replacement took four visits because the color wasn't right. Then, at my annual exam, he told me it had been installed incorrectly and offered to replace it at no charge. That replacement took another eight visits. The temporary cracked three times, I had to go to a dental lab in Springfield twice for color matching, and the final crown was wrong and had to be redone. Look, I get it -- humans make mistakes and sometimes things happen that are out of our control. But 12 visits? If you've never had a crown, this is not a normal experience. I've also had concerns about their billing. On one occasion, I was quoted one amount for unrelated dental work, then later received a bill with additional charges. When I called for an explanation, I was told the person who gave me the quote was no longer employed there and had given me the wrong pricing. Convenient. At my last cleaning, I also specifically asked the hygienist not to use the water sprayer because I'm sensitive to the vibration. She used it anyway, despite my request, and it was very uncomfortable. That said, I did have one very positive experience a few years ago when I chipped a front tooth. They saw me the next day as an emergency patient, and a different dentist in the practice repaired it beautifully. Despite that one positive experience, I will not be returning.

The final email (before my appointment) said they will do with what I have provided. But during the appointment, they said those x-rays are not acceptable and that they need to take new ones. When I said their employee told me they will do with what I have provided, Dr. Mistry and Tess (Hygienist) said Erika (their employee exchanging emails with me before) does not know what Tess or Dr. Mistry need. They took new x-rays. I found that very strange that their employee did not check with them before telling me that they will do what I have provided, and that she was not speaking on behalf of this dental practice when she was communicating with me. The appointment lasted for about 105 minutes. The appointment was just for cleaning and exam. But they did scanning, gum measurements and apparently other things (which they did not even tell me or ask about). (I was not charged for anything, but they did overcharge my insurance company- part of which they said they will correct). Then Dr. Mistry said I need cavities which were filled before filled again (about 3 of them). I don't even recall so many cavities ever filled before. Then they asked me to sign something at the end. I asked what that is. I was told it is just saying that they have recommended me deep cleaning. Tess said that does not mean I have to do it. I signed that form, but later found out that the form said that I am admitting to bone and gum disease. When I tried to make another cleaning appointment for December, they said it has to be deep cleaning. I sent emails to Erika afterwards asking whether she was speaking on behalf of the practice or by herself only when we were communicating before. Erika offered a call with Dr. Mistry or Tess. I said I'd like to speak with them. But I received a letter from Dr Mistry saying he is dropping me as a patient. All this is extremely unprofessional and harassment. Nothing else. I have already filed a complaint with the Virginia Department of Health Professions Enforcement Division and I will also consider filing a complaint with Law Enforcement.

At the last check up, she refused to open her mouth, was scared of anything going in or near her mouth (even a toothbrush!), and was especially afraid of the potential of getting an xray done. At the last practice we went to, they were insisting we should try to get an xray done, but they used the xray card that adults use, so my daughter was very uncomfortable, scared, and she kept gagging. They tried several times, but in the end we didn't get the xray, and instead we left with intense dental fear instilled. We were referred to Dr. Keaney by a friend, who raved about how gentle and kid-friendly the practice was. Upon arriving, we were greeted by friendly staff and they made us feel really welcome and comfortable. The white board at the front desk even had a welcome sign that included our daughter's name! All the rooms were pleasantly decorated and themed. Shortly after we went in, we saw Dr. Keaney, and she was exactly as described: patient, kind, excellent with children. She and the other staff (Jessica) actually took time to read our forms and talk with us about our past experience, and took special care to cater to our specific situation. During the checkup, Dr. Keaney carefully explained/demonstrated each step she was going to do, and was really able to put my daughter at ease. In the end, she was awarded with a balloon and goodie bag, so we definitely left on a happy note. They also had My Little Pony on the ceiling tv playing, which was another extra bonus. I really appreciated how we were asked if it was OK to keep the TV on during the checkup, which I thought was so respectful and thoughtful to me, as a parent. We live over 30 minutes away, and there are many closer pediatric dentists in our area, but we are more than happy to make that extra drive to this practice now. We are looking forward to the day my daughter gets excited to see the dentist, and I really believe Dr. Keaney will get us there. Thank you to Dr. Keaney and all the wonderful staff!

It's really rare to experience an office where all staff members are kind, helpful, and friendly, but that is this office. From the admin person to the front desk staff to the hygienists to the dentist herself, this is an office that truly cares for the kids and their families. All the staff are all positive and supportive. The office is very clean and conducive to kids, with tvs in the ceiling, toys in the waiting room, and kids decor throughout. There is a dry erase board where each kids name is written to welcome them, a very nice touch. Each kid gets a goody bag at the end and a token which can be used on the toy vending machines in the lobby. This is a HUGE hit with the kids! They usually get little jewelry trinkets or toys that they get excited about. One time the staff gave them balloons which was sweet. The dentist herself is very kind and gentle and thorough with the kids. She'll take time to answer questions and explain things. The same go for all the hygienists here. I always get a good vibe when coming to my kids dental appointment!

I had chipped my front tooth due to poor bonding from my former dentist. It had chipped about three times in about four months with no real solution other than to either slap on new bonding or shave my teeth down. I called Dental Devotion and they were so kind and considerate of my situation. They were able to squeeze me in the next morning. From the women in the front office, to the dental assistant, and to the dentist, my experience was top notch. They explained what was happening, how they were going to fix it, and asked for my approval every step of the way. Like many reviews have mentioned, they treated me like a human and didn't try to force anything on me aside from what I wanted fixed. The only negative is that their parking is a garage and they only validate for an hour so if you have a longer procedure, you will be paying $$. I have been searching, feverishly, for a good dentist in my new home (Atlanta). It's impossible to…read morechoose one because I know it will never compare to Arlington Dental Excellence. Dr Ghanim does beautiful work and it runs in the gene pool. More impressive is his son, who was so young at the time - I think his name is Ali. I still talk about him to this day. He did the bulk of the work on me from initial exam, to deciding on a plan, to executing it. I originally made an appointment for Invisalign. I have an underbite that refuses to correct, after years of braces as a kid - Invisalign as an adult - the whole nine yards. The money I've spent on my mouth could rival years of college tuition. Ali and I ultimately settled on replacing my veneers and the result was an unbelievable improvement while being incredibly natural looking. He's a serious artist, carefully cloning the color and shape of my teeth to transform them with the latest and greatest material (when I first got veneers, it was in 2003 - basically cement!) It's so important to feel comfortable with your dentist and I went with Arlington Dental Excellence because of him. He really talked me through every step and the end result was flawless. It was apparent something had changed about my face, but it wasn't outrageously obvious. It's no exaggeration that someone compliments my smile once a month, minimum. In addition to the top tier quality of work, the employees and the way of doing business is what will make you fall in love with this place. It's a family. Ali, his dad, at the time his mom was at the front desk and she knew me by name every time I came in for an appointment. It's incredibly difficult to find a place like this. Of the utmost importance, the pricing is beyond reasonable. I was only 26 at the time and they knew I couldn't afford 8K+ on a new smile at once. The payment plan was so reasonable, so stress-free and was the epitome of why a small business will always surpass that of a franchise or chain. I can't say enough good things about this place. I miss it so much that I'm making the outrageous decision to book a flight, a hotel, and a dog sitter just so I can get my teeth cleaned and my veneers checked in on by Ali. I can't remember the last time I wrote a Yelp review, but Arlington Dental Excellence will make you do that. Go here and here only - you won't regret it!

The numbing agent barely worked. I asked for more but it barely numbed. -They did not isolate the tooth when doing a root canal, which is against root canal procedure. -Either they did the root canal on the wrong tooth or they failed to see the tooth next to it also desperately needed a root canal I do not write this review lightly.
