I asked him to list the Double Board Certified doctors from best to average and Dr. Madorsky was the first recommendation with a star next to it. I was not let down. My first visit to his office was great. He was very thorough in his examination and knew exactly what the issues were. I needed 3 procedures done to correct my nose. I received the estimated cost in a very simple breakdown and I could not believe it. He was half the cost out of pocket than other doctors in the area! When he confirmed what I knew I needed, I immediately booked the soonest appt for surgery. My nose was very bad and he fixed it. Fixed it straighter than I would have thought. He shaved my dorsal hump to make me less bird like and more human like and reduced my turbinate that caused me to choke at night. Also fixed my deviated septum so my collapsed nostril was now breathable. I haven't slept this good in over 20 years thanks to Dr. Simon Madorsky. I was nervous as hell through the whole process but he literally made it feel like it was a breeze and downplayed any horror stories of these procedures. Dr. Madorsky is now a part of my care team and I will be recommending him to all of my friends and family interested in not just cosmetic, but also any issues with Skin Cancer. I am writing this review based on my personal experience…read more Prior to my procedure, Dr. Simon Madorsky explained that I would have a specific type of incision following Mohs surgery. Based on that explanation, I agreed to proceed and felt comfortable with the plan. However, once the Mohs surgery was completed, the incision and reconstruction were done differently than what had been discussed. This change was not communicated to me beforehand, and I did not feel I was given the opportunity to consent to the new approach. The result was not what I was led to expect, and I am very unhappy with the outcome. For a plastic surgeon, especially in a cosmetic-sensitive area, communication and transparency are critical. My experience left me feeling disappointed and misled. I would strongly advise future patients to get very clear, detailed confirmation of the surgical plan in writing before proceeding.

From the initial consultation, explaining the surgery and healing expectations, post surgery care, bedside manner, etc... Dr. Sharma has been wonderful! His staff is friendly and professional as well. I have had a deviated septum my entire life, and always breathed through my mouth and nose together, but primarily my mouth. So whenever I'd go running or exercise my mouth would get so dry almost immediately. The deviated septum also made scuba diving more difficult for me as equalizing my ears took longer and I could only do it by swallowing. I've always considered looking into surgery to get it fixed but never made the first step. It really wasn't until I was talking with a buddy of mine who's friend said his quality of life, sleep, and exercise so much better after he got surgery from Dr. Sharma that I decided to book a consultation. I looked around and talked with other surgeons, in addition to Dr. Sharma, but after it all I knew Dr. Sharma was the right surgeon for me. First off he's trained in both ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery! The Septoplasty and my breathing were my main focus but since I was already at the point of surgery I decided to have some aesthetic improvements done to my nose as well and opted for a Rhinoplasty in addition to my Septoplasty. Dr. Sharma is also very friendly, never once did I feel rushed or pushed in any direction. He's kind, supportive, and very knowledgeable. The day of surgery, he came by checking in on me and took time to talk with me to make sure I was comfortable. I'm only 2 weeks out from surgery and my breathing is significantly improved! I know it will continue to get better as the swelling and mild congestion heal and go away. Also the shape of my new nose is perfect! I'm so happy with it. I told Dr. Sharma I wanted my new nose to keep my ethnicity and masculinity, and he delivered! It still looks like me, just better. My wife, and mom even approve lol. Coincidentally the office had a few people in waiting, filled out the paperwork, and found it to be rather quiet, very much resembling a library; the phone rang a few times and there was some chatter, but the staff wasn't overly loud or even anything negative to say and to be level headed I can be confident in commenting that they were more than appropriate and actually rather kind toward me. The wait wasn't much at all, probably rather typical if anything, along with the wait in the exam room. The doctor came in and was pretty right to the point. After bringing my concerns and recent online-references, being self-diagnosed, it was a simple as 'this is what you have and this is what you need.' Completely understanding what it's like to communicate with a customer who knows everything, being one myself, I was very accepting of his comments, his recommendations and prescription. I'm not going to argue with my mechanic telling me I need a new battery because I know it's bad for the environment; I'll take the new battery! No beating around the bush; this is my health we're talking about after all and I want it accurate with a scientific approach based on research and experience. I received nothing distant from this and loved the approach. The doctor smiled, shook my hand, wished luck and that's it. Well done! A few days later I'm operating at 100% and no problems equals no qualms! I'm going to be honest, they didn't give me flowers as I left, but as far as service goes, the staff was on top of it and the doctor was exactly what this patient needed.

When making my appointment on the phone, I always ask for new patient forms right away because I have a lot of information to fill out and I don't want to waste time in the office filling it out on a clipboard. First, they gave me the wrong website. How do you not know the website of your place of work if that's where the patient forms are? Then they lost my patients forms. I had to fill out all that information out AGAIN by hand. Then they misplaced my ID and insurance that they just took to make a copy of. All the girls up front just looked at me like lost sheep. One patient came in after me and they couldn't find his prior auth, which was faxed to them. They asked patient instead of looking for it the chart. Another patient had her hands full and was pushing a stroller with a special needs child. Not a single one of them lifted a finger or offered help. Other patients had to help her. I would be embarrassed to be so incompetent and oblivious. If you need an ENT specialist, look elsewhere. I haven't even seen the doctor yet, but no matter how good they are, it's not worth dealing with utter mess up front.
