He was thorough and took his time explaining the procedure to me and my husband and when I called him at 8AM on a Sunday morning, he called back within minutes and got some new meds called into the pharmacy for her. He is not only an expert at what he does but he's a as good of a human as he is a doctor. He cares about his patients and makes himself available to them. His staff is also fantastic! I wish he was an expert across all medical fields so my whole family could use him for all of our medical needs.

The night before scheduled surgery, his scheduler called to cancel it, blaming Medicare (when it turned out this office did not submit the correct paperwork). There was also an issue with billing for a visit this office canceled and I never attended. Then no word from dr's office. Almost 3 weeks later, I called Medicare only to find out that the paperwork had never been submitted. I was later told again by the scheduler that it would be sent in immediately. It was not. So when I asked about surgery and scheduling and this unacceptable delay, I was "dumped" as a patient. They told a 3rd party (who told me) before they told me. Left with no resources, no transition, no referral. Looking back, even though I am in pain every day, I consider it a blessing in disguise. Zero if I could....I think ego supersedes the Hippocratic oath here....

The ENT who was treating me had concerns about doing any further work and couldn't quite pinpoint the reason for recurring sinusitis (as seen by CT). That ENT was great because they knew they were at their limit of expertise and recommended Bhandarkar to review and take any further action. In Dr. Bhandarkar's office, they have an endoscopy machine, and he's extremely adept at using it. He can instantly look into your sinuses and visually see what is occurring with no discomfort. Usually, when I've had in-office endoscopies of my sinuses, there's some pain, maybe even bleeding afterward. No issues of pain or discomfort at all. He'll show you and explain what he's seeing, so you know what's going on. Unfortunately, there were some issues with my prior sinus surgery, so I needed to have revision surgery. They did an outstanding job of working with me and my insurance to be sure everything was adequately pre-approved with my insurance. The results of the revision surgery were exceptional. I don't get the severity of the sinus issues I previously had. I'm able to exercise a lot better now that I can breathe a lot better, as well.

I specifically wanted an specialized rhinologist, rather than the general ENTs I had seen. 8am appointment, yet front door remained locked, with long line of patients waiting outside, until 9:20am. Then I waited another hour before his non-doctor assistant came in and did the entire exam. Dr. Bhandarkar never came in or communicated in any way. Second appointment I made clear it is to be with the doctor. I waited 1.5 hours (way too long again!) before his assistant came in again, and told me I was "next" to be seen by the doctor. After nearly another hour, I stepped out of the room, only to find that Dr. Bhandarkar had left for lunch, skipping me again. So his office lied to me and the doctor no-showed twice, yet still billed high specialist and facility fees. Trying to talk to anyone in authority at UCI is impossible -- endless holds on the phone. Clearly the doctor and his staff have very little respect for their patients. Still awaiting a call from the doctor.....

Went in for an appointment today to see Dr Sun for a possible ear infection due to water trapped…read morebehind some ear wax buildup. I was lucky that someone had cancelled while I was making the appointment so I was able to see Dr Sun the same day otherwise the following day was available which was still reasonable. I planned on having my ears cleaned while I was there as they have the latest suction equipment/ device and the process was extremely quick and effortless to handle the task. I arrived, filled out the paperwork, and was in and out promptly. Dr Sun was friendly and professional - no issues.

He sees you for 5 minutes then sends you off else where for testing then the test results take 8 weeks to process but it's been 3 months and i haven't gotten any results. He didn't push me away with pointless prescriptions and close my file. He actually listened to my concerns. I wasn't just a "number" I was a patient. I have never felt like a patient in my life. I have suffered from enlarged tonsils for 14 years! For 14 years (and at least 3-4 times a year) I was given the run around and prescribed antibiotics that never seemed to help. It wasn't until I met Dr. Strelzow I finally felt that someone understood my breathing difficulties and pain. He showed empathy towards my frustrations of past examinations. He was the first to give me a solution to this problem. For my outpatient procedure, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. I asked him to list the Double Board Certified doctors from best to average and Dr. Madorsky was the first recommendation with a star next to it. I was not let down. My first visit to his office was great. He was very thorough in his examination and knew exactly what the issues were. I needed 3 procedures done to correct my nose. I received the estimated cost in a very simple breakdown and I could not believe it. He was half the cost out of pocket than other doctors in the area! When he confirmed what I knew I needed, I immediately booked the soonest appt for surgery. My nose was very bad and he fixed it. Fixed it straighter than I would have thought. He shaved my dorsal hump to make me less bird like and more human like and reduced my turbinate that caused me to choke at night. Also fixed my deviated septum so my collapsed nostril was now breathable. I haven't slept this good in over 20 years thanks to Dr. Simon Madorsky. I was nervous as hell through the whole process but he literally made it feel like it was a breeze and downplayed any horror stories of these procedures. Dr. Madorsky is now a part of my care team and I will be recommending him to all of my friends and family interested in not just cosmetic, but also any issues with Skin Cancer. I am writing this review based on my personal experience…read more Prior to my procedure, Dr. Simon Madorsky explained that I would have a specific type of incision following Mohs surgery. Based on that explanation, I agreed to proceed and felt comfortable with the plan. However, once the Mohs surgery was completed, the incision and reconstruction were done differently than what had been discussed. This change was not communicated to me beforehand, and I did not feel I was given the opportunity to consent to the new approach. The result was not what I was led to expect, and I am very unhappy with the outcome. For a plastic surgeon, especially in a cosmetic-sensitive area, communication and transparency are critical. My experience left me feeling disappointed and misled. I would strongly advise future patients to get very clear, detailed confirmation of the surgical plan in writing before proceeding.

First came to Dr Norman Ge for a consultation on my hearing loss I suffered…read more12 years ago and he was honest and provided me with valuable information and didnt try to sell me any services because he knew there was nothing he can do for me since so much time has lapsed since first losing the hearing. Then I had another issue 2 years later with a hoarse voice and remembered that Dr Ge is an ear, nose and throat dr, so I knew I had to come back to him. From the initial appointment, Dr Ge was able to provide me with a diagnosis and scheduled me a surgery to remove a polyp in my vocal chord (didn't even knew that could happen prior to speaking with Dr Ge). Was some great information and sure enough went through the surgery and everything came out perfect, my voice was back to 100% and Dr Ge was able to walk me through the procedure in the follow up appointment. Really great dr who can provide you with insightful information and does not hide anything. A wonderful surgeon who is able to take care of business, all while Covid was happening. I am thankful for Dr Ge, as he taught me a lot as well as healed my voice. Really appreciate him and his staff, definitely recommend anyone who is dealing with any nose, throat, or ear issues to go to this Dr, you will not be disappointed! Thanks again Doc!

My experience with Dr. Ge was one of the most frustrating and ethically questionable medical…read moreencounters I've ever had. My appointment took place in March 2026, when I saw him for vertigo. The visit lasted no more than eight minutes, and he never examined my ears -- yet my insurance was later billed for "surgical services," which absolutely never occurred. When my Explanation of Benefits finally arrived, the issues were glaring: * I was billed for a 30-40 minute visit, despite the appointment being under 10 minutes. * My insurance was charged for procedures that were never performed. * The incorrect billing items conveniently totaled just over the $200 I had been required to pay upfront. I immediately called the office and asked for clarification on every CPT code listed. After repeated calls in April, May, and June, they eventually removed the charge for the nonexistent "surgical services." At one point, they even called to tell me they were "waiving" the $40‑something dollars I was supposedly overcharged -- before I had even received my EOB to understand what they were referring to. The refund process was another ordeal. Despite paying $200 upfront, I wasn't refunded until late June, and only through Venmo, because they refused to send a check. I then had to reimburse my own HSA with a personal check to fix the mess their billing created. This entire experience wasted hours of my time and left me deeply concerned about the practice's billing ethics. If you're a new patient, pay very close attention to your charges -- both upfront and on your insurance.
