My favorite thing at this location is definitely has to be a Cuban sandwich and any of the chicken meals. Cuban sandwich is one of the best I've ever had in Los Angeles that Portos Cuban bakery sandwich has nothing on this place some of the gooey gooey yummiest cheese I've ever had on a sandwich, pickles so good and the meats and the sauces on that bread just combine so perfect. As for the chicken, this grilled chicken is some of the juiciest busiest I've ever had in my life, and the flavor sees down from the skin all the way to the bone there's not a single dry part and not a single unseasoned part somehow the flavor gets all the way deep down into the strands and grains of the chicken. Keep seeing this place around the valley and finally decided to try it for lunch. It pains me to write this review as the food was actually delicious (got the asada sandwich) and the staff were nice, but the following are what knocks the rating down for me: 1) Ordered through yelp and when I got there, they never received the order (their system was down). Thankfully I showed my email receipt, but had to wait while they made the sandwich instead of a quick pick-up I had planned for. 2) The parking lot is horrible. It's too small for all the gigantic trucks that decide to park in the angled spots. It was a bit stressful to get in and out, especially since you can't really back out back onto the st. 3) Worst of all and main reason for this review: after eating about 85% of it, I found a thick, short, black curly hair inside my sandwich. The above convinces me to not return here but the food was really good so I wouldn't be opposed to trying a different location. Not surprisingly, I'll probably hold off for a while but hopefully have better luck next time. read more

Wow, my mouth waters as I am describing the goodness. It also comes with two sides of yellow rice and two sides of beans (pinto or black). I also ordered fries and baby pork ribs. My goodness they were flavorful and juicy. Just super tasty. I haven't tried their empanadas yet, but I am sure they are as good as anything else here. If you haven't tried "Ay Papa" you need to do so asap. Strongly, strongly recommend them if you are in mood for delicious and flavorful food. YUM!!!!!!! Tip: they have few locations, so if you put your order online, make sure you call the location and verify with them that they got your order at the store you placed the online order with, sometimes it might get mixed, so follow up. :) read more
