He has a very informative sheet on his front door that is the most effective way of communicating his location that I have ever seen. He was in his brewery when we arrived and met his beautiful friendly dogs. I called ahead to purchase some mead and wine. He went the extra mile and gave my partner and I a tasting. Insisting you have to know you like the product before buying. I really appreciated that as I struggle finding alcohol I enjoy. All of it was delicious and talking to him was a delight. He's very knowledgeable about his craft and is quite good at it. We ended up purchasing a blueberry mead, cherry mead, and lemon wine. He managed to capture the flavors of his ingredients while keeping a lovely and light beverage that I can't wait to serve at my upcoming party. This is definitely a place to come and check out. As he does so much aside from brewing you'll find something for the whole family! All while enjoying the lovely grounds that he maintains. Blue Skye was a real treat and to be honest I like the mead more at this place than some of the other places in the far south Seattle metro area. We ducked in here and although the place is small we got to taste several meads which proved to be great! While drinking they weren't too think and ran down smooth and light. I have a slight issue with some mead where it just seems a tad too thick as it goes down but I found no such issue here. We bought two bottles to take home and really enjoyed them! The space for this meadery is small and there isn't really a place to sit and enjoy the mead but as far as I'm concerned taking it home is just fine too! One of the bottles we got was the Serenity which was a blackberry mead that had a great aroma and tartness to it! The other bottle we bought I think was my favorite, the Bloody Bog.This great mead had blood oranges in it and locally crafted cranberries that were grown in Long Beach, WA. This mead was not too sweet as it may possibly sound with the ingredients. Definitely well crafted mead and a place I will eager to back to. I will keep an eye out for any future meads that this business will put out!

This was my first time trying mead and I really liked a lot of them! The bubbly ones on tap were lighter and really yummy! I definitely like sweeter drinks, so the dessert ones (black magic and isilu shadow) were high on my list. They had lots of flavors with most of them being fruity. There are a few options for flights, and the choice to try every single flavor! The actual indoor area was pretty small, with only enough room for the bar, one table for 6 and a little bar top seat, and the bathroom. Because of the size, the bathroom is literally 2 feet away from the table and is inside a sliding door that does not fully seal shut. It was decently loud inside with the music playing but definitely not the place to go if you need privacy in the bathroom. They had another couple tables (2/3?) outside but it's tucked in a narrow alley so it was pretty tight out there as well. There is a stack of games to play inside and it has great decor! Overall, the drinks, vibes, and service were great! We had 7 people and completely filled the inside of the shop, so I would recommend a smaller group. The shop is down a narrow set of stairs between 2 building and another few stairs from the door down to the bar. I'm not sure if there is another entrance, so I believe this would be inaccessible for someone who was unable to use stairs. 4/5! The theme at the taproom is fun as it's done in a steampunk style that makes this unique! The mead is amazing and Steve and I have tried quite a bit of it and all of it is wonderful. Probably my favorite one however is the Lady Grey as it is a Earl Grey flavored mead which is simply out of this world. They have a variety of different flavors involving berry flavors and meads on the on the dryer side for a flavor profile. They also have wine but we haven't delved into that yet as we are typically drawn to the mead on our visits. On our last visit they had little posable dragons for sale which were super cute and of course I had to get one. I already got the t shirt obsession covered when visiting taproom on the first visit. Cute hidden gem!…read more When we arrived, the owners greeted us and said we were here for a wine tasting and lavender viewing. Wine was exceptional. One of the most unique tastings we ever had that we had to buy a couple bottles. Im not a red wine drinker, but their Farmhouse Red wine was so smooth. It was a must buy and it was the husband's favorite. My favorite was their Lavender Honey Wine. Another must buy and can definitely be a great pairing with dessert. After our wine tasting, we were able to take the bottle we bought and pour ourselves a cup to enjoy while we view the lavender field. Their lavender field may be a bit smaller than other farms', but it is so relaxing to just watch and listen to the bees. They also have a wine vineyard you can explore, but we were more fascinated with all the little bumblebees and honeybees encircling the lavender field. Overall, we will definitely come back and check back out during their Christmas tree season!

Right off the bat I was a little disappointed because they don't have Coke products, so instead I got an RC Zero which just isn't the same at all. I am currently pregnant so I was unable to partake in the alcohol. The staff also wasn't super friendly. It wasn't that busy for a early afternoon on a weekday so I would have expected to be greeted or even checked on but that wasn't the case. I will say that I could see them not doing it when it's busy since it is a bar so it probably isn't apart of their normal routine. My husband got the Cherry Limeade Cider and he rated it a 5/5, he would love to try other flavors but would definitely get this again. I got the Blue Cheese Smash Burger with tots and my husband got the Pastrami Smash Burger with fries. Both were full of flavor and really tasty. My burger was simple with toppings but i think that's what put it over the top. I am not sure if it was but the blue cheese tasted homemade, it was one of the best burgers I have had in a really long time. Overall we had a really great experience and will absolutely be back to try more of the menu and drinks!
