Love this fresh, healthy take on food trucks! The buffalo bowl is my favorite! Would recommend to anyone.

We went to here as they were one of the late night spots still open. *This along with a hibiscus drink (large) and a cola! Approximately 50$. * Service was simple, kind, order at the register- type of spot. Ambiance wasn't busy for a Sunday night but the vibes were there, and I can imagine they get busy and can handle a lot with the seating options they have.

I've been ordering from El Jefe in Tempe for the last 4 to 5 years as we live fairly close. We love…read morethe tacos especially with doing the family meal for street tacos! The meats are so good. We also use to love the sushi side. During Covid, we tried the sushi for the first time. We were hesitant as it's a Mexican joint, right? Not a Japanese specialty shop. So to my surprise, I couldn't believe the sushi especially the Las Vegas roll and their Nigiri cuts were pretty dang good. My disappointment seems to be this last year with the sushi just hasn't been the best or fresh tasting. The Las Vegas roll was always nice and warm but with an awesome cold center and fried to perfection and the sauce just right. Lately it's been the opposite. Super over fried were all you can taste is old burnt oil and it dried out and the sauce just bland and not helping at all. The other thing that bothers us is the lack of wasabi they give! If you're not going to give us full flavor, at least give more wasabi to help mask. I will say they give you plenty of soy sauce packets (just barely any wasabi).

I had the rich boy po boy with the fish and grilled shrimp and slaw. The flavor was so good! I would get it again. The fries were just fries nothing good or bad about them. I also had the peach cobbler which I was so excited to try as its my favorite dessert. I was highly disappointed with the flavor and texture. It was just cup of mush with cinnamon. That is all I could taste. For $8. I could get the Patti cobbler at Walmart. Taste way better than this too. Our final meal was the fried chicken, fish and shrimp with fries. Overall taste was good. Could have been a bit more crispy.

The first time I decided to share the Rich Po Boy since it's a big portion, but since then I don't share and everyone gets our own. The peach cobbler is the best way to end the meal and when you try it once, you will be craving it! Watch their Instagram to see where they will be popping up next! By chance I saw they were at the complex down the street! Bee is so friendly and her energy is so contagious! Can't wait to see you next time!

As it's located in the main drag, parking is going to be in paid lots or garages, but there are plenty of options close by. You seat yourself and can select between the bar, booths or tables. We opted for a table and were promptly greeted by our server. As it was taco Tuesday, we decided to order tacos and I opted for the blackberry margarita. The tacos were definitely big and packed full of meat and toppings. While far from authentic street tacos, they had good flavor. Definitely a great bang for your buck during happy hour. The margarita was refreshing as well. With ample TVs, this would be a great spot to grab a drink and dinner while catching a game.

First impression wasn't great because there were no tables, and it was a seat yourself situation. So we found a table but then had to clean it off ourselves. Still sat there a good 20 mins before we were acknowledged. Again they were swamped. Service was a whole lot better once the crowd died down. We love the nachos. And I love the crunchy tacos. Today we tried the loaded waffle fries because we saw someone else ordering. They were good but we totally prefer the nachos. Best nachos I've had in the valley Had to add the cookie skillet! Could decide on the dessert so asked if we could have some churro on it. It was bomb! Few weeks later: lol still thinking about how my husband tipped 35-45% because our waitress sobbed to him how she hadn't really been tipped all day. I don't know....... We are naturally good tippers, like always 20% bare minimum and if service exceptional we tip higher. But we had 3 tickets (stayed awhile and kept ordering another round of drinks) and he felt bad and obligated to tip more. Don't get me wrong...... we really loved our server and our service but this "guilt trip" frustrates me. It's like we made up for everyone prior for not tipping. Seems unprofessional to share that with your customer.
