The henna was darkest the day after the next and lightened up slightly the day of the actual wedding, following aftercare to the t. Also, the design I asked for of the London Eye (which is where he proposed) wasn't done, but I also didn't push for it. I'd recommend coming to her with a clear picture of exactly what you want, so do your research prior to! Also, regardless of what she says ensure your main event is 2 days after initial application. For example, if Wednesday your henna was applied, have the wedding scheduled for Friday. This timing is imperative!

Minal did my bridal Mehndi for my wedding in May 2021. She's very efficient and has great response time. I was impressed by how quickly she responded to my initial inquiry emails and sent me the contract and booked me that very same night. She lives in the Central Valley, which was a perfect location for me because my parents live in Modesto and that was an ideal place for me to stay during the wedding week while my henna was on. Minal arrived early to our house and kept me updated on her timing throughout the day. She was very efficient on getting started timely and was a dream to have over at our house. My parents loved having her over and she is very kind and polite and so much fun! Bridal henna takes a few hours to apply but her work was consistent and clean throughout. My bridal henna was one of the most important things for me for my wedding and Minal did an incredible job! Her pricing is great and her work is impeccable. My stain was incredibly dark and I loved the design so much. The stain lasted weeks after the wedding and came off pretty well! I will definitely reach back out to Minal for my future Mehndi needs!

The artist explained that she has been doing henna tattoo since 2016 so she has a decade of experience so knows what she's doing. If I had an Indian wedding to go to, I am definitely coming back here and even insist the wedding party to bring their business here. I had the pleasure of working with Mehndi Designer Neeta Sharma for my wedding, and I cannot…read morerecommend her enough. I was first introduced to Neetaji when she did the Mehendi for my best friend's wedding. During that time, she also did my henna and we had the chance to connect. She was so warm, kind, and incredibly prepared that I knew I wanted her for my own wedding one day. When I booked her, she sent me a link where I could select exactly how extensive I wanted my henna design to be along with the price point that worked best for me. The process was very organized and easy. She also helped coordinate artists for guest Mehendi, which made planning so much easier. Before the appointment, she sent a list of instructions to help prepare the space. What I appreciated most was that everything was centered around making sure the bride was comfortable during the long process. And she truly delivers on that. I felt relaxed and well taken care of the entire time. Neetaji is incredibly personable and interacts so naturally with family and guests. We spent hours talking and laughing while she worked. Her henna is natural and does not contain chemicals, and the stain develops beautifully dark. Her designs are intricate, clean, and very thoughtfully done. She takes the time to ask questions so she can understand your vision and personalize the design. She also provides clear aftercare instructions and truly treats you like family throughout the experience. She even reached out to me the next day to check in and make sure I was happy with how the stain developed, which really shows how much she cares about her work and her clients. If you are a bride looking for a personalized, clean, and memorable Mehendi experience, I would highly recommend Neetaji. You will absolutely be happy with your results.

She did not even congratulate me on the engagement (which other mehndi artists have). I let that slide but what hurt me the most was when I asked for a referral discount (she was the mehndi artist for my fiance's brother) she replied with in the bigger picture mehndi is only 1% of the entire wedding cost. This was derogatory and I wouldn't know that? I have an entire budget spreadsheet and merely asking for a discount. All she had to say was no or politely decline. I chose another mehndi artists but just keep in mind that we are paying the artist they are not paying us so customer service is key! Please choose your mehndi artists wisely and just because someone is such in high demand does not mean they can compromise good customer service. Spending MY money elsewhere!
