There are 3 eye witnesses that were present. Two were minors and will not be listed or mentioned for their protection and safety. However the third is an adult. My Registered Business Ambrosedulee LLC purchased an Egyptian Shabti from Awakenings for a promotional giveaway. Prior to purchasing, witnesses can confirm, I made it very clear, repeatedly, that I refused and would NOT purchase without a certificate of authenticity. Repeatedly, I stated, "I do not want nor will I buy this unless it comes with a certificate of authenticity, will it come with one?" I was told "Yes" I continued, "you guarantee I will receive a certificate of authenticity, again I will not purchase this unless it comes with one because I don't want it unless it does" I was assured again, by Eric the co-owner, "Yes, no worries! You will get the certificate of authenticity." I was guaranteed to receive the COA (certificate of authenticity) upon purchase and did not receive one, but I was given a business card for an item I did not purchase - a Lonsdaleite (Hexagonal) Diamond) Sphere - 45mm. By the time I got home, the store had closed. The next day, I called and brought this to his attention, he went from "professional" to "outright disrespectful" which is an understatement. Due to not receiving one and based on his response of kindly asking to receive what he guaranteed I would receive, I asked if he could give me the name of the seller and I would reach to them, which was immediately declined, then I asked if he could provide the date, location, and name of the event so I could look into finding the seller, personally since he was busy with renovations, that was also declined. I pressed to receive the certificate of authenticity considering he, Eric, guaranteed I'd receive one upon purchase. He responded, quote, "Please give me some time as we're in the middle of remodeling our store and I need to go through thousands of invoices from 2023 to obtain it." End quote. The COA is worth the wait considering the legalities of buying an Egyptian artifact and not having the COA. I waited for several months. I sent an email every month to check in about the process while waiting to hear back from him. I did not rush, I simply, checked in on how everything was going. It wasn't until the end of July that he admitted he didn't have a COA. The emails exchanged have been attached to this review. At first I thought this was an innocent mistake - unfortunately I was wrong. At first, it seemed like their retaliation was due to my successes in the spirituality field considering I have been in this field since 2013, registered and certified in 2022, and have aided in murder investigations, however, upon further investigation, I am not the only victim of theirs. I genuinely loved this place so much so that I had traveled to their other locations to support them. I'm grateful this happened to me and not someone else. I have thick skin and based on how other people have reacted when hearing about this, as well as based on how this business treats customers who have had bad experiences, I could imagine it wouldn't have ended well. Prior to this experience, I had anticipated expressing my appreciation for this business with my following as I had reserved a spot specifically for them in my three part series - production was canceled due to this matter for legal purposes. Not only because of how they targeted and treated me but also other victims considering the remarks they've made stating that they don't need any new business (the screenshots of them saying this are in a review on Yelp), I'm happy production was canceled on their part in the series. The promotional giveaway is still happening as well as the series, this review included. * This review is protected under the CRFA: Consumer Review Fairness Act and upheld by my First Amendment Rights. Update: The owner of Awakenings in omaha NE has threatened that if I don't remove my review in 24 hours off of Yelp, they would upload the entire email they sent me after posting my review, which has been legally proven to have multiple false accusations, under my review including a screenshot they took that they thought they could use as leverage. Everything has been legally documented and reviewed by my attorney. Including this review. I have contacted my attorney and for legal purposes, they, the owner and their staff of Awakenings LLC and Awakenings Enterprises, are not to have any form of communication with me under any circumstances for my safety and well-being due to the nature of the threats they have made are both civil and criminal extortion. THIS STORE IS RACIST As a loyal customer at Awakenings, me and my friend had an extremely disappointing and racially-charged experience there. While shopping, we were followed around and asked multiple times if we needed help looking for anything--in a demanding and hostile manner. There's a gumball machine with crystals at the front of the store, which accidentally let out loose crystals instead of the plastic-covered crystals. This is something that can be verified by witnesses and camera footage. The gumball machine was $0.50 for a crystal. I brought them to the front and wasn't told there was anything amiss about that. On a second visit, after buying more crystals and spending money--we were told we were banned and that further visits would be considered trespassing. I was with my friend, who wasn't with me when I bought the loose crystals, who also got banned. As brown Americans, whose culture is intrinsically tied to the products sold there, it's extremely disappointing to be accused of stealing and treated as thieves because of our race. There was nothing that could have been misunderstood as stealing, and no communication was made to keep us as loyal customers and treat us with respect. The employee who treated us different was named Rick. I do not recommend purchasing from a racist and disrespectful shop like this. Despite efforts on our part to urge them to check camera footage and ask customers present that day, we were told from Rick that, "I don't have to explain myself." The idea that police would be called on us for going to a Metaphysical shop that we have consistently bought from is disgusting, and 100% due to our race. read more

I absolutely LOVE this store! Kelli, the owner, is an AMAZING woman! She is more than happy to help her customers if she's on the floor! She has helped me a couple of times with issues and has given me another resource to contact because she's so busy. All of her staff are amazing and know what they're doing. I have been to another store in Omaha and I really didn't care for the vibe there. Whenever I walk in to this store, I feel so welcomed and like I'm at home. I could spend all day there because of the positive energy and the crystals are a vast selection. Someone else commented on prices. They're very reasonable and high quality/high grade crystals. I do think they are a bit over priced on a few items, but crystal wise, they're reasonable. I'm definitely willing to pay a bit more for the same crystals at other stores because the owner is amazing and the environment is so welcoming. Plus it's a lot closer than other stores. Also, as a light worker, it has the majority of my needs. I would like to see more oracle and tarot decks though. I know they're hand picked by Kelli (can't go wrong there!), but there are so many options and it's hard finding a store that has sample decks to thumb through to make sure I connect with them. I feel sorry for the staff though. I'm in there a BIT too much as of late, so they don't get a break from me. Sorry ladies!!!! Overall, fantastic store! I love their rewards program. I almost didn't sign up for it the first time because I didn't think I'd be there that much. Boy, I'm glad I did! I've gotten a bracelet for free because I saved up my points. Their stone selection is amazing and they seem pretty knowledgeable about crystals and chakras. I only gave them four stars because they have a very "light worker only" energy. If I could give this zero stars I would. When my nephew was shopping today, there was a gentleman who followed him around the story while he shopped for his girlfriend's birthday present. After about 10 minutes the gentleman approached my nephew and accused him of stealing. Now I get in this day and age it might not be a stretch to think such a thing but the guy literally followed him around the store. After the accusation, the man ordered to see inside my nephew's right pocket. He accused him of stealing a crystal and after turning out his pockets (politely I might add) the man just said "alright see you later" My nephew then called the store and spoke to the man in charge about the incident and the gentleman said "You put your hands in your pockets over 7 times. You wasted my and my employee's time since I had to watch the camera footage. You are no longer welcome in this store." The manager on the phone threatened to call the police. No worries about going to this store again. That will not happen. He may need to indulge in his own products for maximum awakening. Very disappointed. read more
