We've now had two interactions with Mattress Firm in Cool Springs, both very positive. If you're…read moreinterested in a high-end mattress that will change your life, this is the place to buy it! We purchased a Tempurpedic mattress here a decade ago and it will last forever. It's essentially like sleeping on a cloud. When we're on vacation, even in the nicest hotels with excellent beds, we wish we were back home sleeping on that mattress! This week, we returned to purchase a new base for our bed. It was time for an upgrade. Again, if you want a high-end adjustable base for your mattress, this is the place to get it! The base we bought is adjustable at the head, feet, and lumbar regions, and with a push of a button on the remote, users can set two favorite combinations of these three settings. There is a massage feature, and the base even reports your sleep habits directly to your phone. There is a white noise feature, and an anti-snore feature that either adjusts your position or vibrates (or both) to stop the snore. One of the more amazing characteristics is an alarm feature that gradually wakes you up earlier than your alarm if you're not fully asleep but leaves you alone if it senses that you're in a deep sleep, waking you up at the moment you've set the alarm. You can control everything from the remote or from an app on your phone, and the base even connects to your WiFi and Amazon's Alexa if you have one! Store employees were very helpful and gave us time to explore by ourselves without being pushy in the slightest. Delivery was made within 24 hours, and two polite gentlemen set up the base in about 15 minutes!

I came to them with a bad back and said I needed their best mattress that wouldn't break down on the edges. They showed me the Englander aloe Vera special mattress that would "never" break down on the edge. And they said it has a 15 year warranty. Well 4 months in and the side collapses, I call and the warranty says if there are any stains at all on the mattress it will not be honored, if there isn't a visible measurable sag of over two inches it's not honored. With no one on it, you can still see a dent, it's not two inches, but then you lay on it and the side buckles. They have offered no help and now my back problems are worse. If I was a wealthier man I'd sue them, other industries have Laws to protect buyers from bogus warranties. Example: if you put new tint or wheels on a car and the engine breaks down they can't say your car isn't under warranty because cosmetic changes do not effect the function of the car. But of course if I was a wealthier man I wouldn't have given my business to such swindlers. Want a good review Rick? Honor the warranty that you say it has instead of weaseling out of it with semantics and dishonesty. GARBAGE COMPANY!!

They wanted to charge me 20% of the overall cost - roughly $100 - because they "held" the item awaiting my delivery the last 10 days. They ended up charging me only 10% - but still I had to pay $53 for an item that never left the store !! I told the manager he really should make that policy clear when someone purchases from them, and he said "it's written on the receipt "... Yep in the teeeeeny tiny fine print that NO ONE would ever bother to read or probably cant even see to read anyway because its written so small. The salesmen there are very nice and helpful... its not their fault. The mgmt there could care less about their customers and the store just scammed me outta $53. UGH DONT GO THERE !!!!! I'd rather pay more at a place like Sleep Number who actually care about customers and go above and beyond for customers' satisfaction... so... ya get what ya pay for at Mattress Gallery Direct. And that is a raw deal

Amazing customer service!!!…read more After a horrible experience with Mattress Firm, I started searching for somewhere else I could purchase a mattress. I came across their website and decided to visit their Hermitage location. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a delightful gentleman named John. I explained to him what I was looking for and the issues I had with my previous mattress shopping experience and he was happy to help me. Even more impressive was that I showed him the tag from the mattress in my guest room that I really like that was 10+ years old, he was able to tell me all about it and while they don't make them anymore, he was able to tell me about all of the improvements they have made on the current models. They had a large selection of mattresses and John was able to show me the ones he thought I would like based on my preferences, and even explained the differences between the various options. He was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. *Tip* If you sign up for their "Outlet Pass", they'll email you a voucher for an additional discount off of your mattress. Mine was already marked down to a great deal (less than half of what you would pay elsewhere) and they were able to take an additional $100 off. I highly recommend this place and will encourage all of my friends and family to check it out.

Boy was I wrong, and my back paid the price. The next day, I showed up to Marks Mattress Outlet and was greeted immediately upon arrival by Jerry. He asked me what I was looking for and was able to find the perfect mattress (pillow soft, firm, mix, etc.) for me. Not only that, but when he heard I was in pain from sleeping on an air mattress, he called his delivery people to see if they could deliver the same day (unfortunately they were booked with deliveries all day which speaks to how well the store does). I thought I would be dropping thousands of dollars for a brand name mattress, but it was incredibly priced and next business day delivery was impeccable. Highly recommend this store for anyone looking to buy a new mattress, and DEFINITELY recommend for any newcomers moving to Nashville. I can't express my gratitude enough for the kindness and professionalism Jerry and the delivery men exhibited in finding and delivering my mattress.
