Instead of letting me take home that one, they told me they'd have to "talk to their manager," and they would deliver it to my house because I needed 2, and it would be delivered to my house that day, they were going to "call me back" to confirm the time. 45 days later- I finally got them, but I had to pick them up myself. Every time I called, they said, "Let me talk to my manager, and I'll call you back". I never got a call back. But they were happy to receive the money from my insurance, without giving me the product.

Now, however, there is another staff entirely and, well, I think it's time to find a new pharmacy. We wanted to get our annual flu and covid shots, which we've gotten there for years, so I called ahead and was told I could just walk in -- no appointment required. When we arrived, however, the pharmacist-- a man wearing a black T shirt that said "Dr. Petrossian, Medicine Man" -- said the wait would be an hour. Since there was no one in front of us in line and no one tgere was waiting for a vaccination, I asked why. He said bluntly, "because there's a wait." I said, okay, I guess we'll go to CVS. As we were walking away he said he okay, he would do it now -- as though he was doing us a favor. I wish we had kept walking. It somehow took an entire hour to get out of there with our two shots each and a few prescription refills -- something that would have taken the previous crew maybe 20 minutes to do. It was like he was moving in slow motion. While administering the shots he was rambling on about his heritage, and also expressing (unbidden) his anti-vaccination views. I don't know what was up with this guy, but it was definitely not like any pharmacy experience I've ever had, and I've been around for a while.

They received my rx a week ago and told me they had 26 pills available and would order 4 more. The woman on the phone made it sound like I could come in to pick up the 26 beforehand if I needed them sooner. I was also told despite my $10 copay with my insurance that because this was a private pharmacy it would be $35. I was unsure about this already but after a week of waiting, going in today to grab the 26 pills knowing they didn't have the 4 extra (ran out of a daily medication waiting), and then the woman I spoke with over the phone getting angry at me because she hasn't put them into a bottle & I was in a 15 min parking spot I can tell this is not the pharmacy for my family. Even if family owned and walkable from our house. Worst service, much higher prices, rude, and still don't have my full rx. They lost me as a customer when the woman offered me $5 back instead of my 4 pills. I need my full medication and is that even allowed?????

First, no one called me to let me know. I found out by calling them before driving there. The person in the pharmacy told me other Walgreens may have it but he could not call them and be sure. So I spent 3.5 hours calling every Walgreens within a practical distance - average wait / hold time 30 minutes each. All told me they could tell me who MAY have the drug I was prescribed but would not call to make certain. I think this is pretty crappy customer service. Not sure if this is a policy but just sucky if you ask me.
