The issue with this can be that the visit would be billed as an ER visit but not covered by your insurance as such, leaving you to cover the gap in coverage. It is now another 2 months and my body has still not resumed its prior ability to digest food. Now I have a delayed Perscription. I was told to start emailing the doctor with any questions that I have. So I started to email her. She does not check her emails and there is nothing to flag her to tell her if she has anything in her inbox. So I've gone 1 to 2 weeks without getting any responses. They are very slow at returning calls and following up I would not recommend anyone going to this practice!

All along a tech was fixing his iv in the room. I demanded him leave and we were going to ama and go somewhere else. The doc yelled back and as he was leaving he called the desk for security and said he was throwing objects at the doc. Blatant LIE 6 security officers stormed the room, husband is about to stroke out hobbling to get his things to leave. I explained the situation. The tech tying to keep his job obviously said he saw and heard nothing yet was standing next to him the entire time at the iv. Management came & spoke to us, didn't really offer much help but was able to convince him to stay another night. His regular Doc had no idea this happened since he wasn't on call! The reg doc came back and was super nice, helped with everything, a true blessing. For the ortho doc that lied and was completely out of line, I don't know what ever happened to him. He should have been fired on the spot! I wish I thought to record it, but I was so upset shaking and crying as well for the audacity of a Doc! To be yelling at a patient and making up a lie. I hope he got fired! And updated me on that issue. The point...record every interaction with doctors, nurses, tech, billing, management, especially when it comes to healthcare!

This place ruined my life. Whoever runs this facility should seriously reevaluate who they consider…read morea doctor and whether they should even be allowed to offer healthcare at all. A few years ago, I was seen here by Dr. Bowen while experiencing severe flu-like symptoms. I also had a bite on my arm that appeared a few days before I became very sick. I specifically showed him the bite and asked whether it could be related to my symptoms. His response was "No, I think you just have COVID. Go to City Market and get a test." I was then sent out the back door. Why he couldn't test me there I have no idea.... I followed his instructions, got tested elsewhere, and the result was negative. Dr. Bowen was rude, dismissive, and made me feel uncomfortable, as if my symptoms weren't valid or worth taking seriously. Over the years that followed, my health continued to decline. I became progressively sicker. It has since been confirmed that I have chronic Lyme disease. Luckily I had taken a photo of the bite and when I showed the physician who diagnosed me with Lyme the same bite I had shown Dr. Bowen that day, they confirmed it was consistent with a Lyme tick bite along with proper testing. Had this been properly evaluated at the time, my illness may have been caught early and treated before progressing into a chronic, life-altering condition. Instead, I am now living with a lifelong disease that could potentially have been prevented with appropriate medical attention. The dismissal of my symptoms and the failure to investigate a possible tick-borne illness had serious and lasting consequences for my health. I cannot believe this is my reality now. I hope this review encourages more thorough evaluations and genuinely patient-centered care in the future, because what I experienced here was dismissive, incompetent, and a complete failure of medical care.
