We checked out the pre-cut selection and decided to grab a saw and hit the terrain and I am glad we did. It took us about 20 minutes to select our near perfect tree. The saw was sharp and it was a matter of minutes before we were on our way back to the barn where they wrapped up our tree in string, not the standard netting, which I appreciated. We had saved last season's baskets because they complimented our exterior decor so well. Because of that we inquired as to whether we could reuse the baskets, and specify what flowers would be included in each arrangement. We were informed that we could do so on both counts. And, that we would be informed by phone when they were available for pickup. We heard nothing further. So, yesterday we called and inquired as to the status of our order. They informed us that the baskets were ready for us. So, we drove there, about a 25 minute drive from our home, late yesterday afternoon. Upon arrival we inquired of the female employee at the checkout counter about our baskets. At first she was unsure, but she inquired of the owner and ultimately the arrangements were located. However, only one basket (out of 5) contained the flowers we had requested. The employee checked the order records and no, the arrangements were not as ordered. So, they were returned to their workshop for correction. About ten to fifteen minutes later they were returned. But, when we went to pay for them we discovered that the price was about 20% higher than the previous year. When we inquired as to the reason we were told by two, of the approximately 14 year old, female employees (this is a Mennonite enterprise) that the increased cost was due to the reuse of our old baskets; that doing so made it "more work for them". We might have argued the point further with the female owner. However, she had left us to riding mow her lawn, while carrying her infant daughter on her lap. Needless to say, we probably will be buying our hanging baskets closer to home next year. Too bad.

Kyle is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful as I was pretty specific in what I was looking for. Soil conditions are clay where I live and very sunny most of the day. Perennials are not always hardy with those conditions. Prices were very reasonable and I chose two when we were here a few months ago. Both are thriving and blossoming in my garden. Didn't really need any assistance or service while shopping, mainly because I was shopping with my mother (before Mother's Day) and we were just trying to find things we liked and sounded interesting. The employee helping us at checkout was... seemingly indifferent to being there... but it's fine. In terms of value, we found everything to generally be within a reasonable price range - and I managed to find some really fun items, including strawberry mint (excited to use it in a cocktail) and an heirloom cherokee purple tomato plant. I also picked up a lovely little variegated string of hearts succulent and a couple other plants to add to my collection. Couldn't find a couple of the items I was looking for though (a friend asked me to see if I could find a Chinese money plant - and considering they're fairly common, I was surprised that Bristol's didn't have any), but one location can't have everything, ya know? Anyway, Bristol's was lovely and I'm sure I'll be back during future plant shopping adventures.

A very nice gentleman greeted me immediately and offered assistance, he helped me to the paint section, I easy located what I needed and while he mixed it up I took a look around. Lotta of household items, garden tools and other helpful products. I picked up a clearance scraper blade for changing up my registration sticker. I also had a few keys made, super fast and a great price. I was only here for about twenty minutes. Really appreciate the service here.
