The music was a good volume, there but not loud enough to interfere with conversation. The other patrons were mostly young and non-threatening. Drinks were $4 each I think? When I went up to order the bar was staffed by an older man, maybe one of the owners? He didn't know what a cosmopolitan was, but poured a decent gin and tonic.
