I had been going to this salon for 10 years! I trusted them and recommended them to everyone. But…read morerecently I had the worse experience I have ever had at a salon. And I am not saying that lightly! I went in on a Wednesday and asked them to touch up my hair. I had a very gold, ombre color. The hairdresser said she was going to try for a more rose-gold color. Okay. My hair came out pink! Not a subtle pink, but a true-pink! I told the girl I wasn't loving the color and I had expected it to be more gold. Over the night, I didn't warm up to it and scheduled a correction with the salon that Thursday. From the second I got there I have never felt so judged! I was treated like I was a problem client, like they wished I wasn't there and accused me at one point of changing my mind. They lightened my hair and applied more gold but the pink was still obviously there. I was told I might have an undertone of pink but these were uneven and sporadic light-pink highlights! I expressed that I was unhappy because I wanted my hair color to at least look like I did it on purpose. I asked for them to put some kind of light-pink toner or something on the ends so it was at least a unison color. What additionally upset me, the owner said I was changing my mind and they had already done $300 of free services to correct my hair, so they would have to charge me for the toner. When I asked how much would it be the owner and hair-dresser spoke at the same time and quoted me two different prices! The owner said $45, the hair-dresser said $25. I was done and just asked them to finish drying and styling my hair, so I could leave. I was a loyal customer for 10 years, I asked for a easy fix for the fact I was prepared to live with pink high-lights, even though 48 hours ago I had none, I was treated badly, and I was getting quoted different prices. I left in tears and drove home crying! I will never go back! The warning I have too those who decide to go to this salon is that do you want to take the chance to be a client that they screw over and then blame you for the mistake making you feel like garbage? Not worth the turmoil with so many other wonderful salons in the area!

Tierra provided the worst experience of my whole entire life. When reading this, keep in mind I had…read moreprovided photos to the owner (not sure why the owner made the decision to give me to Tierra--huge error on her part!) and even had an in person consultation in advance where Tierra claimed to be confident that she could properly do my hair--I only wanted a simple trim with highlights and lowlights. I do have very long hair, but so does Tierra so I thought she would know how to handle long hair--boy was I wrong! She claimed to have 10 years of experience, but I really question if that is true after the situation I had with her. Also keep in mind that Tierra texted me when she didnt like my reviews so I even had to block her! How unprofessional! Tierra didn't know how to cut hair, so my length and layers were very choppy and uneven. She didnt know how to wash hair, so she created a literal two inch knot and had to call another stylist to come in on her time off to help her get the knot out--which caused some damage to my hair. Didn't know how to dye hair, so used too much bleach and it bled out of the packets and caused significant horizontal blonde streaks all over my head. Took her hours to apply the bleach so it was left on some sections of hair WAY too long (causing damage) and turned them pure white when my overall goal was to blend my gray hair, so this entirely defeated the purpose of the visit (it takes a normal, skilled stylist 30 mins maximum to apply dye to my hair, crazy that Tierra took two hours). Didn't apply the color very close to the roots, so there were significant lines of demarcation. Asked for brown low lights and saw zero brown in the end result. She was so frazzled because she knew how badly she kept messing up that she just kept making mistake after mistake (which she finally admitted to days after the appointment) and didn't even finish styling my hair so I left with wet hair--don't understand why she didnt ask the other girl who came in to help her on her time off to take over (or ask the owner to come in to help). I still had to pay 50% for her to totally ruin my hair when I feel I should've gotten a full refund---especially since I now have ongoing appointments with a different stylist to fix Tierra's mistakes, so this is costing me hundreds of dollars and taking several months to fix! The most mind blowing part of this is that she actually let me leave the salon with my hair looking like this, she should've immediately owned her NUMEROUS mistakes. The only mistake she owned at the time was the knot, but it would've been impossible for her to not see the issues with the color and cut, which gives the impression that she hoped I wouldn't notice so she chose to ignore it--probably because she was so embarrassed and ashamed of her work, inexperienced to know how to handle the situation, and had already spent five hours on it (when it should've been 2.5 hours maximum). Moral of the story, NEVER visit this salon and especially NEVER let unprofessional Tierra touch your hair! Learn from my experience!

Update: Someone from the spa sent a follow up email and didn't even attempt to make anything right,…read morethey instead blamed (me) the client. For example, their response to my complaint about no shampoo being available is that there is a removable handle in the shower. That has nothing to do with no shampoo being available. They made no attempt to address the fact that my treatment wasn't complete (I did not receive a foot massage) or the rough handling during the scalp massage. Update: In addition to this review I've sent two emails and still haven't gotten a response from anyone at Coachlight. Really disappointing customer service. There are some areas where I was disappointed with my visit that I feel can be improved upon. Because I am a new client it would have been nice to receive a welcome email or phone call with instructions for my visit. I didn't receive anything instructing me on what time to arrive or what to expect. Because of that I arrived at 8am for a 9am appointment due to the site saying you have an hour beforehand to use the facilities and I thought I would need to be changed and ready at 9am. At 8:30 I tried the doors again because I saw a receptionist inside. The doors were still locked. She looked annoyed but unlocked the door and said I could come in. I explained I had a 9am appointment and probably needed to change which is why I was early. The facilities are impeccably clean and quiet, so that was a positive. It was a relaxing calm environment, which is what I was looking for. It would have been nice if someone showed me around and explained how to use the saunas and rain shower though since it was my first time. For the treatment itself, the woman was cordial but was very rushed. It felt like she was trying to get through the treatment as fast as possible. She was rough instead of being slow and ensuring the experience was relaxing. I was most looking forward to the scalp massage but she was so rough it was painful and felt like my hair was being ripped out at times because she was going too fast. My hairdresser gives a scalp massage so I know what a proper one feels like. The description of the treatment also said I would receive a mint foot rub, which I did not. After the treatment I was told to shower. There was no soap or shampoo available and my hair was full of oil. When she came back I noted this and she said there was shampoo in the locker room. Showering again after the treatment would defeat the purpose of the lotion being applied at the end of the treatment. So my choice was leave with oily hair or shower again and rinse off all the lotion. After the treatment I was taken back to the main area and still hadn't been given instructions on how to use the facilities. At checkout I was asked how much I wanted to include for a tip. I really dislike when I'm asked this in a busy area with other clients present behind me as it's uncomfortable to bring up issues then and I feel pressure to tip even if the service had issues. I would prefer being able to write it down on a receipt. I emailed the spa about these concerns and asked them to reach out to make it right and I have not heard from anyone. For the price the service is subpar.
