I went into labor 7 weeks early after a very normal and healthy pregnancy, which ended in an emergency c-section, and a month NICU stay for our baby boy. She was at the hospital ASAP after I was admitted, had the most genuine supportive, calm nature during the entire event (coached me through 2.5 hours of pushing as I didn't know what to do). I completely trusted her with my life during the scariest moment of my life. she's one of those doctors I would call a hero. I HIGHLY recommend her. In addition to being treated rudely while you are there, you get to continue this treatment when you get home and you have to call them to discuss a billing discrepancy. If you don't mind if you are treated poorly by office staff and then have to call them multiple times after a visit to correct billing issues, then by all means, make an appointment. Otherwise, I suggest you try to find another doctor with a kinder and more competent office staff.

My wife (and I) were definitely very nervous going into her pregnancy, but Dr. Kimball was with us every step of the way, making her pregnancy the best possible experience from the very beginning to the birth of our daughter. First, Dr. Kimball is absolutely brilliant: her level of competence and knowledge is second to none, and we felt secure and just so reassured knowing that my wife was getting the absolute best care every visit and throughout the entire journey. Her level of thoroughness just really helped put her (and I) at ease, and although my wife's pregnancy was "uncomplicated," Dr. Kimball always did everything possible to double check that she was okay and my wife and the baby were healthy. She just went above and beyond each and every visit! It's just a wonderful feeling -- particularly for perhaps the most important life "thing" in one's life -- to know that you are being taken care of by a doctor whose level of expertise is top of the field. Dr. Kimball is truly just a gifted physician! We are so grateful that it was Dr. Kimball who was ushering my wife through this process. But, just as importantly, what makes Dr. Kimball so special is not only is she just a brilliant, thorough, and "on-top-of-everything" doctor, but her care and compassion really is just amazing. Again, although we were so excited and wanted a child, my wife was understandably really nervous to be pregnant. Dr. Kimball always made her feel listened to and answered our countless amount of questions that we threw her way! It did not matter if it was the "tiniest" question about a particular food to eat, Dr. Kimball would attentively listen and answer all of our questions -- and, if she didn't know an answer (which was rare by the way!) -- she would call a few hours later after our visit with an answer. Not many doctors would do that! We never ever felt rushed and just was always so attentive addressing our concerns. She consistently went above and beyond. She cares deeply about her patients and establishing a meaningful relationship. Again, during such a transformative experience in one's life that can be both exhilarating but also physically and emotionally traumatic and painful (of course), to have a doctor like Dr. Kimball who makes her patients feel well-cared for, comfortable, and supported really means a lot. She is a women's advocate and just altogether so amazing. I want to comment on how every single visit Dr. Kimball walked into the office room with so much energy! She never had an "off" day and over the many, many visit over nearly 10 months, each and every time, Dr. Kimball would show her excitement and just come into the office with a boundless energy that also made each visit enjoyable. We honestly always were looking forward to seeing her and felt better about everything each time we left the office! Finally, she was of course just as amazing during my wife's labor. Obviously, there is no guarantee that our chosen OB/GYN will be the one to deliver the baby, but Dr. Kimball said that she would do everything she could to make sure to be there -- and she did! My wife's labor came on *super* fast and pretty unexpectedly very early in the morning, and yet, Dr. Kimball still made sure to come and just "check in" on my wife in the hospital at this initial stage, and then came back later to delivery the baby hours later. She was so encouraging, confident, and supportive, and the demeanor she exhibited during this moment really helped! She safely delivered our baby and provided the warmth my wife needed, and just as importantly, did all the medical procedures after the delivery to make sure my wife would heal up from her tear. She is now one week postpartum, while the parenting part has been tough (!), my wife has really healed up well and we know that is in large part because of Dr. Kimball's expert medical care. Overall, Dr. Kimball is just a phenomenal doctor who just really has great affection for her patients and delivering the highest level of care. It is obvious that she loves what she does and it shows. She treated us like family throughout this journey and we are just tremendously grateful for everything. We cannot recommend her enough!

The call-center vs. the office gives off some inaccurate scheduling dates and times. On my recent appointment, 10a with Dr. Kimball, it was beyond unprofessional. Checked in with Nancy & was greeted by Christina. I sat in the waiting room with 7-8 other women. After 20 minutes of waiting, I asked Nancy if she was even in the office or called away on emergency!? She stated she's in the office just running behind. There are 7-8 people ahead of me. Umm, you didn't want to alert me of that upon checking in. Nancy just gave me an awkward smile. I was called in by Jocelyn "medical assistant" at 10:40a & she did her intake & walked me to the room. You would think the Dr. Kimball would've came in shortly thereafter. Absolutely not. I walked out & asked Jocelyn if she was aware I'm in the room!? Her response, oh yes, she is running behind. You failed to tell me that as you walked me to the room just sit there & look out the window. Finally, Dr. Kimball walks in as if she's early & greets me. I asked her you don't have an emergency phone call like our last appointment!? Oh no, we are fine. I explained to her how she never followed up with me re: my labs & etc and what's the next steps behind my women's wellness care. Instantly, I knew she wasn't really listening to me & was somewhat dismissive. I asked her what's the next steps were & she told me I don't do that exactly, I refer out. Excuse me, Dr. Kimball during my prior 3 visits, you told me this is what you do & we will work together for a plan of action. Talk about the bait & switch. In this appointment, I found myself advocating for myself like never before. The more she talked & stated she didn't know too many Doctors in the South Bay community due to her being with them for a short timeframe (3 years). Not only did we waste 1 another time, but she lied to me, stating she was fully knowledgeable behind this matter. I received 0 comprehensive care from her. A medical disappointment. Moving forward, her "Dr.Kimball" front desk receptionist "Nancy, Christina & Maribel: office manager;" do better on the information given to patients on her lacking a broad expertise; outside of labor & delivery. I was checking out & Maribel "office manager" was heavily fixated on our "Nancy & I" mini conversation. Maribel tells me she's been in the field for years & well versed in the medical field. Like, lady what are you talking about & stop being nosey. Keep in mind that she has no medical credentials behind her name. With all of this happening in 1 day, this office is unprofessional & can be unprofessional by themselves. Again, please advocate for yourself & stop letting doctors such as Dr. Kimball think this is acceptable medical care/behavior.
