    Renting the car was OK, and it was fine. A little dirty maybe, but nothing terrible. The real fun started a month after I returned the car. I get a letter stating that I owed 629 dollars for glass damage. I looked the car over at drop-off and there was nothing like that. I dig a little deeper and realize that according to the pictures they sent of the car/damage that the mileage was 43,667. Well, nice scam attempt, but the mileage when I picked up was 44,943! I will say I called customer service and explained this and the rude lady agreed to not charge me the $629 and I was sent that letter "by mistake." Yeah right, you tried to scam me! Doing some research, this is a fairly common scam. I've already contacted BBB, Costco Travel and will be contacting my credit card and posting on social media. Pathetic, sad and disgusting business practices from AVIS!!!!!

    Wow. Where to begin. Lady with the tattoo on her chest is a NIGHTMARE. Rented me the wrong vehicle. The correct vehicle was in the parking lot - took a picture of it. Went back in to explain that I had paid for a TOYOTA 4 RUNNER OR COMPARABLE FULL SIZE SUV - they gave me a Hyundai hatchback. I already own a hatchback that size, wasn't gonna cut it. The manager told me TOUGH. I was livid, didn't want to return the car because she said there would be a high % return fee. So I called Avis customer support and after an hour finally got someone to agree to 35% off. I return the vehicle, money settles, there's ZERO discount. I call and they tell me that the discount is ACTUALLY variable. On hold for 90 minutes projected wait time. To talk to a supervisor. All in hopes that they don't screw me. I guess at worst I can file a claim with the bank since they didn't offer the service they claimed to provide - it's not like I'll be renting here ever again - but BET if I'm pissed enough to do this, I'll be doing a whole YouTube video and podcast episode on it too getting into the nitty gritty. Social media stroke is absolutely worthless and lame EXCEPT in situations where you gotta remind corporate Johnny that they can't just go being bullies. I AINT DONE AVIS. And tattoo chest, I hope you learn a very strong lesson in how to treat folks. I am currently extremely sick and dealing with high stress stuff makes me extra sick. I went in that day to get the car dressed like I like rolled out of bed - but you never know who is who based on their looks or what they're going through - or what they're willing to go through when wronged.

    Our Avis rental broke down, and we were able to get the car started and got to the Bakersfield Meadows Field Airport. We got a notification that a replacement vehicle was waiting for us. My husband went in and was told by the agent that he declined our exchange. We are more than 200 miles from home. Our car is malfunctioning, and the agent here decided the was going to decline the replacement. When the agent we had been talking to on the phone said he was able to set up a lyft for us to take us to Burbank (112 miles away) to get a replacement we tried to leave the keys with the agent at the airport but he refused to take the keys, even when the Avis agent on the phone called him and asked. This guy was rude throughout our interaction, has zero customer service or empathy, and is overall a jerk. He wasn't wearing a name badge and did not give his name.

Then I go outside to # so and so, and there is no car waiting there - seems like someone done grand theft auto'ed things out from under me. So I briskly sashayed back into the counter while he is with another customer, tell him we have a problem, and then he comes outside with me to confirm that there is no car in the spot he told me to go to. He eventually figured out where the car was, not in the spot where he told me it would be, and I am not a gat dang lost car detective. Returning the vehicle was much smoother. Friendly (different) clerk who checked in the car and said she would e-mail my receipt so I could get it reimbursed before I would even be through security, which she did. Besides the problem with the missing car at the beginning that took some unnecessary additional time, that was making me later than I already was from all of the delays etc. with the airlines, this was an overall good experience as usual with Enterprise, unlike the Daedric/dystopian/eldritch nightmare that Hertz is always ready to unleash on you as a customer.

I always reserve a compact, but I was kindly sent out to a spacious Edge, great car. Enterprise is always reliable with cars that smell good (I'm allergic to smoke) and are spotless inside, with friendly associates. Great location. Super easy pick up and drop off on sight at the airport.

At first I was a little skeptical, I've rented from small companies in LA. ALWAYS A DISASTER. I can't say that about this priceless, because I have a local license there was a mileage cap. I didn't mind the mileage cap for local renters. I was still able to go to morro bay to visit my dad. Back to Bakersfield, then to Oxnard and back to Bakersfield. If you're honestly using the car for simple driving you'll be okay. After talking to Alberto I truly understand why they have a mileage cap. Being a smaller company the cars they have in inventory are important to their day to day operation. I actually loved how quick the pickup process was! A day before I flew in I was contacted by the company. I signed all rental docs, sent my license and insurance documents. When I arrived for pickup it was so smooth and fast! I received a 2024 Toyota cross, very good on gas. Got great gas mileage, car was clean! Fully loaded gps, Bluetooth, nice big face screen. The weekly rate was over a hundred dollars cheaper than hertz, Avis and enterprise. I'm thankful I took the chance, I saved money and now have a cheaper place to rent from. Check-in was easy just make sure you keep an eye on your email a few days prior so you can submit all your information and documents. Pricing was amazing especially for the weekend! Way more affordable and then other big corporations such as enterprise or Hertz. The only downfall is they do charge $40 if you are paying with your debit card but still way more affordable compared to the competitors. Customer service was amazing. I was running late pick up and was not able to pick up my schedule time and they totally worked with me. me an amazing clean car drove like a dream so comfortable and great on gas. I definitely will be using them again for any future rental needs.

We rented a car on Saturday morning. That I had rented through a third party site. We rented the car plus added the extra insurance through that site. As we were at the customer service desk, waiting to get the car, i had showed the guy my rental booking plus the insurance. He helped us get the car and had another guy Take Jeremy outside to look at the car. This whole time, the guy was talking to me and not really jeremy, because I usually handle everything not knowing he was supposed to talk to jeremy that was never explained. He had explained to me that I had the car till Monday. That the deposit would fall off between 24 to 72 hours and that we have to return in a full tank gas and be back on time he also never check our proof of residence for using debit card which is also company policy. Sunday morning, I had looked at our emailed rental agreement and notice there were charges on there that we did not agree upon. So Monday morning as I returned the car, I had to explain to Stacey. What had happened. She first said she has to talk to the guy and then she would let me know and get back to me. So we waited after about ten to fifteen minutes, the second guy that helped us came in, and she talked to him, he said that he just gave him the car and didn't go over anything with us. That Alexis was the one that helped us get the car. So then, stacy said she had to get a hold of alexis to find out what exactly he had went over with us. At this time, as I was talking to her, she cut me off and said that she could only talk to Jeremy. Because he was the one that rented the car and I was explaining to her that if that was the case, then Alexis shouldn't have talked to me the first day that he should have only talked to Jeremy. And that was already proof that they weren't following company policy. She then had cut me off and proceeded to go over it with jeremy And the receipt. She only refunded part of the 3 Items that they had put on there without our knowledge. I was explaining to her if there was already issues with said person not explaining things.Then, how are we getting charged for things that they did not go over with us. Then, she said, well, jeremy signed, it, didn't he. Which he did but was never told breakdown of the fees that we were going to occur. She didnt even wanna listen to me just kept saying how she cant talk to me. So I did give her an attitude trying to explain how this is wrong and that as a manager she should be holding these guys responsible for their incompetence. I called the cops and they advised me to sue for my money it which yes committing fraud is wrong but would take forever just to get back pennies but the way they run a business is just ridiculous. She could have at least acted like she was concerned about the whole situation but she just wanted to be done and for me to leave. Do not rent from this enterprise....24th street . They will not follow company policy then blame u for it. Stacey as a manager u should learn how to handle your customers better and make she your employees are following company policy that snide attitude of yours isn't cute and its straight rude as someone who works in a position of power and handling Customers. You would think you would have been trained how to carry yourself professionally. I'm sure if you went somewhere and weren't told about xyz but then were charged for xyz you would be just as mad and also, as a manager hearing your employee wasn't following policy, You should be mad at them not the customer that had the complaint.
