Problem is the local office there doesn't answer even though we called when they were supposed to have office hours 1 am - 6 am most likely b/c they knew the flight wasn't coming in for a while and decided our reservation didn't mean anything & our stress of getting to our destination finally after spending hours in the airport wondering if our flight would ever take off & now wondering how on earth we will get to our apartment & move around without a car for the whole day since *I repeat* they are only open 1am to 6am. Literally every other car rental company was at the airport waiting for their costumers to come off the flight and pick up their car. Enterprise *I repeat* was the only dark booth in the airport. So we had to pay extra money to get a cab AND we still didn't have a car for the rest of the day. Flash forward to the next day: We sleep until 9 am that night since we had been up for more than 24 hours the previous day at the departure airport. We call the national enterprise costumer service to see what they can do & they tell us the local enterprise place has no cars left for that day but they may have a car the next day that would be double the price of what we were supposed to pay with our reservation that we made IN-ADVANCE which covered 2 days more than the new price of getting a car from Enterprise so we would be getting 2x the price for 1/2 the amount of time that was on our initial reservation. Beautiful. Enterprise would do nothing for our inconvenience. Hope this helps you see what kind of company Enterprise really is.

Sure, I was a bit skeptical when Beep Beep Jeep asked for the full cost of my rental up front months ago when I made my reservation, but honestly, I had little choice but to trust them. Enterprise owns most of the other car rental companies too, and they all share the same list. Beep Beep Jeep was pretty much my last resort--and I'm SO GLAD they were! When Lesty texted to say he was on his way to deliver the Jeep to us at the airport, I couldn't believe my eyes when he showed up. The back seat was filled with gold balloons and a personalized sign congratulating us on our 25th anniversary! But even better, there was an ice chest with Medalla Light and a bottle of champagne in the back! It. Blew. My. MIND! I can't emphasize enough how glad I am that I had that Willys to drive around Puerto Rico. If you've never been to Puerto Rico before, you're in for a bit of culture shock with how people drive here--no one drives (or parks) like they're supposed to, and it's going to freak you out. Trust me. To make things more challenging, most of the roads are quite narrow with little to no shoulder. If you're planning to drive to the middle of the island, like to the Orocovis area, you need nothing less than one of these Jeeps. Trust me on this! The roads are full of blind hairpin turns on the windiest roads you've ever encountered. YOU NEED THIS JEEP! Your life may depend on it. You do not want to be driving these roads with these crazy Puerto Rician drivers in anything less. I cannot say enough about Beep Beep Jeep's service--just perfect. Lesty texted me a few hours before I was scheduled to have him pick up the Jeep and he told me to keep it for the rest of the night. Said he'd pick it up if I just left it in a parking garage in Old San Juan. And that's what I did--with only a half tank of gas (even though it was supposed to be full). I wanted to see if Beep Beep Jeep would hit me with a crazy expensive "fill-up fee," but no--they only charged my card $44.60, which is roughly what it would have cost me to top it off myself. Fue mi error no inspeccionarla a detalle al llevarmela pero tambien de ellos, pq para darme la unidad no veriricaron solo se quedaron cn lo que decia el documento de una inspeccion anterior pero para cuando se la entregue si la veriricaron. Otras veces me a pasado que si inspecciono y cuando inspeccion e encotrado cosas que en ese documento que ellos tienen pa marcar inspecciones previas no estaban y las e teido que anadir. So que en este caso pudo haber sido lo mismo, pero dicidieron echarme a mi la culpa y perdieron un cliente fijo mensual por $392 que me cobraron el cristal. No los recomiendo por esto que me hicieron siendo un cliente fiel por años....

My family of 7 took a 10 day vacation in Rincon and needed a car rental that would fit all of us…read more On the 3rd day of driving, the driver's side tire went completely flat. We tried calling Borinquen Car Rental during business hours and no one answered. We were unable to get access to the spare tire because the bolt holding in place was completely stripped. With no other option as a tourist to the area, we had to purchase a new tire out of pocket. Upon removing the flat tire, we were shocked to see what condition it was in. The tires were so bad metal fray was showing on the inside of the tire. The tires' tread was so bald metal was coming through. This company clearly hasn't rotated the tires since they purchased the car. It is not the customer's responsibility to rotate the tires and make sure all bolts are properly threaded. During our use of the vehicle we did notice the alignment was off, pulling to the right. Again, it's not the customer's responsibility to check and repair the alignment of the vehicle they're renting to us. We saved the horrific tire and kept it in the small trunk space, to show them first hand. We were scheduled to return the vehicle at 11am on the last day of our rental. They sent a text changing the time of drop off to 3pm. We arrived exactly at 3pm and they were closed, but we could clearly hear people inside the office talking. So we called and they didn't answer again. They sent a text a short time later instructing us to just leave the key in the drop box. They knew we wanted to see them in person to physically show them the flattened tire, instead they avoided us. Later that night they text saying we were responsible for the alignment and the tires. They also complained that we purchased a winter tire instead of a summer or all season tire. Why Puerto Rico sells winter tires is another question, but we purchased the only tire available for the rental. That night they refused to answer our calls or call back and only would text. Finally after hours of texting back and forth the so-called owner called. He repeated the nonsense that customers are responsible for tire rotation and alignments. Makes us wonder if the customers are responsible for the oil change, filter change, tire balancing, and tuneups. After all of this headache the owner had the nerve to say we didn't vacuum beach sand from the rear good enough! We strongly discourage everyone, local and tourist to avoid this place at all costs.
