This last trip our flight was delayed for hours which was stressful enough; 11:50 pm flight pushed back to 2 am til then it finally left at 6:30 am & tried to call Enterprise to inform them and ensure our reservation is still held, but the national costumer service for the company can't help us and says that the local Enterprise at our destination is the only one that can help. Problem is the local office there doesn't answer even though we called when they were supposed to have office hours 1 am - 6 am most likely b/c they knew the flight wasn't coming in for a while and decided our reservation didn't mean anything & our stress of getting to our destination finally after spending hours in the airport wondering if our flight would ever take off & now wondering how on earth we will get to our apartment & move around without a car for the whole day since *I repeat* they are only open 1am to 6am. Literally every other car rental company was at the airport waiting for their costumers to come off the flight and pick up their car. Enterprise *I repeat* was the only dark booth in the airport. So we had to pay extra money to get a cab AND we still didn't have a car for the rest of the day. Flash forward to the next day: We sleep until 9 am that night since we had been up for more than 24 hours the previous day at the departure airport. We call the national enterprise costumer service to see what they can do & they tell us the local enterprise place has no cars left for that day but they may have a car the next day that would be double the price of what we were supposed to pay with our reservation that we made IN-ADVANCE which covered 2 days more than the new price of getting a car from Enterprise so we would be getting 2x the price for 1/2 the amount of time that was on our initial reservation. Beautiful. Enterprise would do nothing for our inconvenience. Hope this helps you see what kind of company Enterprise really is.

Pickup was super easy and quick. You don't get the exact car you booked, but instead choose from the available options in the car class you reserved. In our case, we were able to choose from one of four available mid-sized sedans and the Hyundai Elantra we chose was clean and reliable. Drop off was equally easy, although following GPS directions to the car rental return was a little tricky but that has nothing to do with Alamo per se. So if you are riding the fence like we were, we would recommend them for your car rental needs.

Well I rented a Willy's jeep. I ended up adding chairs, umbrella and even birthday surprise for my Wife. They provided a cake, drinks and snacks for my Wife's Birthday celebration, it was a very nice touch and appreciated. The equipment they provided came in handy. You do want to add on the equipment to your package. You'll soon realize it's a must. Since there are so many beaches, you'll have the choice on where to setup vs waiting for places to open to rent chairs or umbrellas. Trust, you'll be happy adding it to your packages. Also please get their insurance as well. You'll understand once you're there in Puerto Rico driving. Pick up, was easier than expected. Especially being our first time in Puerto Rico. They contact you the week of your reservation. Then you'll be contacted to where to meet once you land. I was handed the keys and loaded up and then went on our way. The jeep was fun to drive. Driving in Puerto Rico it is necessary to have an SUV or Jeep. It makes life easier navigating and parking with a Jeep vs any other vehicle. Drop off was a breeze. We kept in contact who dropped off our vehicle. We parked in a garage and followed instructions on how to notify Beep Beep Jeep with return of vehicle. Take pictures. In conclusion, I understand they may seem pricey, but once you consider how much car rentals charge for a Jeep, then don't forget about tolls and gas, you'll actually come out winning going this route. The company purchases a spot in the parking garage and puts you on an Easter egg hunt to find it. Sometimes I can't even find my own car in airports let alone hunting for a rental following a treasure map with an X marks the spot. We presumed this was in the rental car area along with the other companies. Nope! They never heard of Beep Beep. Dealing with these guys was like dealing with a couple of hustlers on a street corner. I let them know we'd just see them next time now that we knew the process. They say can't return the money and would give us a credit. I am shocked there are not more negative reviews. My family of 7 took a 10 day vacation in Rincon and needed a car rental that would fit all of us…read more On the 3rd day of driving, the driver's side tire went completely flat. We tried calling Borinquen Car Rental during business hours and no one answered. We were unable to get access to the spare tire because the bolt holding in place was completely stripped. With no other option as a tourist to the area, we had to purchase a new tire out of pocket. Upon removing the flat tire, we were shocked to see what condition it was in. The tires were so bad metal fray was showing on the inside of the tire. The tires' tread was so bald metal was coming through. This company clearly hasn't rotated the tires since they purchased the car. It is not the customer's responsibility to rotate the tires and make sure all bolts are properly threaded. During our use of the vehicle we did notice the alignment was off, pulling to the right. Again, it's not the customer's responsibility to check and repair the alignment of the vehicle they're renting to us. We saved the horrific tire and kept it in the small trunk space, to show them first hand. We were scheduled to return the vehicle at 11am on the last day of our rental. They sent a text changing the time of drop off to 3pm. We arrived exactly at 3pm and they were closed, but we could clearly hear people inside the office talking. So we called and they didn't answer again. They sent a text a short time later instructing us to just leave the key in the drop box. They knew we wanted to see them in person to physically show them the flattened tire, instead they avoided us. Later that night they text saying we were responsible for the alignment and the tires. They also complained that we purchased a winter tire instead of a summer or all season tire. Why Puerto Rico sells winter tires is another question, but we purchased the only tire available for the rental. That night they refused to answer our calls or call back and only would text. Finally after hours of texting back and forth the so-called owner called. He repeated the nonsense that customers are responsible for tire rotation and alignments. Makes us wonder if the customers are responsible for the oil change, filter change, tire balancing, and tuneups. After all of this headache the owner had the nerve to say we didn't vacuum beach sand from the rear good enough! We strongly discourage everyone, local and tourist to avoid this place at all costs.
