I was assured that my request had been escalated and was asked to contact the local branch at 7:30 AM because a truck was expected to be returned overnight. Although the truck was apparently available the next morning, I continued to receive repeated delays throughout the day. Each time I called, I was told it would be another two hours. By 1:30 PM, I was still being told they might be able to accommodate me, while also being advised to try renting elsewhere. The last person I spoke with was Mike. This lack of clarity and follow-through caused major disruption to my schedule. A reservation should provide some level of reliability, and unfortunately that was not my experience here.

The atmosphere made it feel like the customers were an inconvenience rather than the reason the business exists. It was frustrating to watch employees prioritize personal activities over helping paying customers. This experience left me questioning how this location is managed and whether customer service standards are being enforced. I expected a professional rental experience, but instead I left feeling disappointed and completely undervalued as a customer. I would not recommend this location based on the service I received. Management should review what happened on July 8th and take steps to improve the customer experience so others don't have the same frustrating experience.

My car is under warranty, but the dealer's are all backed up so it will be a week before they can diagnose and determine it is an issue covered under warranty, at which point they will put me in a rental. That being said, Justin, was one the most helpful and genuine rental agents I've ever had to work with. He got me in and out in under 5 minutes. Didn't try to up-sell me on coverage I had already declined and got me out the door as soon as I came in. This location is in a totally random shopping center, but if you're close by and in need of a rental I highly suggest giving them a shot.

She then explained to me that they normally don't have any pickup trucks at her location and that I can call around to see if they will honor the price I got but she will check with the airport location. She said she left a message for someone to call her back by 12pm but would have the person that open this morning call me to let me know. My reservation was for 8am and I got there around 815 with no phone call. When I got to the location, I didn't see many cars at all, maybe 3 vehicles and none of them were pickups. I went and spoke to the representative and explained I was here for my reservation. He didn't even look at the note his manager left him to call me this morning. He said that DFW was on the way with a pickup truck if I don't mind waiting, I said I don't mind waiting but is he sure they are coming? He said let me text my manager. He text his manager and she responded that she contacted the DFW airport but no one never got back to her. He told me that I could call around to the other Avis locations to see if they have a truck and see if they transfer my reservation to them and see if they can honor the price I got. The photos were not time stamped. When we returned the vehicle there was no staff inspection and they told us to park the vehicle in a public lot. When we attempted to appeal their claims about the damage we have hit many, many roadblocks. We sent a letter and they responded noting that we had not included the rental agreement number. That number (along with the invoice number, damage claim number, and date of rental service) were clearly itemized at the very top of the letter. When we called customer service the service agent said she could not help us. She said we needed to speak to the claims department. The claims department is only open from 10am to 2pm Eastern!! This company is cheap because it is a SCAM!!! Avoid renting from them at all costs. Don't do it!
