My mother-in-law's funeral was the next day…read more Early in the week I made a reservation at DFW airport because we needed to return it late in the day on Sunday. At the counter they let me know I could only pay with a credit card, debits are not accepted. They pointed me to a location that has a drop box near where I live but when I got there, they would have no rentals returned and ready for 6 hours, we needed to leave before that. They suggested we call this location in Lewisville. I spoke with Raven on the phone who assured me they could take care of us. When we got there we dealt with Anthony who took amazing care of us at the counter, and then were shown our vehicle my Michael who got us on the road quickly and with great courtesy. I would recommend this location to anyone who rents from Enterprise.

I said sure, assuming in good faith he would check my car in the day I brought it back. Much to my disappointment he didn't check my car in till the next morning which added an extra day to my rental. I called and spoke to the same employee, who said he would fix it. 2 weeks later, never corrected and I have since had no luck getting anyone to answer the phone at that location. Sent an email and still nothing. So my advice is, don't leave the counter until you have a receipt in your hand, regardless of any inconvenience it may cause the staff. (It also shows my car being picked up and starting the rental at 3:56 AM, didn't pick the car up until after 5:00 PM)

My car is under warranty, but the dealer's are all backed up so it will be a week before they can diagnose and determine it is an issue covered under warranty, at which point they will put me in a rental. That being said, Justin, was one the most helpful and genuine rental agents I've ever had to work with. He got me in and out in under 5 minutes. Didn't try to up-sell me on coverage I had already declined and got me out the door as soon as I came in. This location is in a totally random shopping center, but if you're close by and in need of a rental I highly suggest giving them a shot.

I made my reservation on Feb 9th for a pickup truck. I received a call yesterday on Feb 14th that they don't have a pickup but they have a minivan. I explained that I requested a pickup truck. She then explained to me that they normally don't have any pickup trucks at her location and that I can call around to see if they will honor the price I got but she will check with the airport location. She said she left a message for someone to call her back by 12pm but would have the person that open this morning call me to let me know. My reservation was for 8am and I got there around 815 with no phone call. When I got to the location, I didn't see many cars at all, maybe 3 vehicles and none of them were pickups. I went and spoke to the representative and explained I was here for my reservation. He didn't even look at the note his manager left him to call me this morning. He said that DFW was on the way with a pickup truck if I don't mind waiting, I said I don't mind waiting but is he sure they are coming? He said let me text my manager. He text his manager and she responded that she contacted the DFW airport but no one never got back to her. He told me that I could call around to the other Avis locations to see if they have a truck and see if they transfer my reservation to them and see if they can honor the price I got. The main thing wrong with this situation, as the Consumer why do I have to do the leg work? I placed the reservation in ample time in order for them to get a pickup truck to their location in 5 days.

The check in process was super easy, the staff were very polite. Very minimal upsells, in and out in about 5 minutes. Car return is even easier, you just park it at the designated parking anytime 24/7, just leave the keys at the hotel's front desk (after normal business hours). This location is off the airport, and located inside the Marriott Quorum hotel in Addison, TX - about 15 minutes from Love Field. From the airport, just use Lyft or Uber (there are tons of cars) for about $13. Taxi will cost you $40. Tip: Double check with your credit card if they automatically cover rental insurance (many credit cards do). If not, get the additional insurance because are really expensive cars.
