The customer service here is amazing, epic, and outstanding. When you're without your ride? You panic! What am I going to do now ? The answer! Enterprise! Again, outstanding service and excellent service from this location. Every time something has happened to the vehicle, a phone call is all it takes and we are in a rental. Whether it be the insurance company or private pay. Use Enterprise! This last experience, yesterday actually the car is MIA, and an individual needs the car to make it happen these days. The insurance sent over the authorization and the paperwork was signed within a couple hours. We are back in shape for now while we await the limbo of the process for our car . Most people not driving so the lines were actually short if any at all. Seats inside to wait at as well for the fam if you're doing your check-in. 24-7 service here, so that's nice. Straightforward. Allt he major carriers here, Enterprise, Alamo, Hertz, Payless, etc. Just give yourself some time to get from here back to the airport - it's probably 20min depending on the shuttle bus driver and they do wait for a bit to fill the shuttle.

Then upon returning the car, I got there around 4AM and there was a long line waiting for the bus to come back to take us to the terminal... that took another 15 minutes which is ridiculous. I wish airports would either have a high speed train connecting their rental car facility to the main terminal or just use a garage at the main terminal for rental cars, but remote rental car centers are terrible.

This time my experience was still solid, but it was not as good as my experiences with Alamo at other airport locations. [Process]: Visitors must take a shuttle bus to get to the rental car center. The Rental Car Shuttle stop is located outside Doors 10 and 11 for Terminal 1 and Door 51 for Terminal 3. There was a 15-minute wait for the shuttle bus and another 10-minute drive to the rental car center, so visitors should plan for additional time when renting a car at Harry Reid International Airport. [Price]: $210 for 3 days for a midsize car. [Pickup]: Alamo offers accelerated online check-in. I was able to utilize it, skip the Alamo counter at the rental car center entirely, and go straight to the car at the pickup area. After I picked a Toyota Corolla, I simply gave my credit card and driver's license at the exit booth and encountered no issues. [Return]: The return was easy peasy and it didn't take long for one of the staff members to check my car out. [Conclusion]: I would definitely continue with Alamo for my future rental car needs if I ever come back to Harry Reid International Airport again.

Picked up the car the next day. It was clean, gassed up and ready when we arrived. Ty was the associate who helped familiarize us with the vehicle which was very different from what I am used to driving. He also helped us pair our maps app to the car to make it easy for us to navigate. He was super nice, patient and knowledgeable. Thanks, Ty! I had a reservation for an insurance rental with Enterprise at the Warm Springs location on…read moreSeptember 28. Geico pays up to $35 per day for whatever car you reserve. The agent told me that they didn't have the vehicle that I had reserved. I waited 20 minutes and she then offered me a minivan. I live in Laughlin and that was not acceptable. I wanted a sedan. Minivans have no power and they suck the gas. Then she told me that insurance rentals weren't for any specific car class, and that I would have to pay more money for an upgrade. Wrong! I showed her boss my reservation for an Intermediate car (for less than $35 a day) and finally he agreed to give me the first car available. But this guy had a real attitude. He treated me like I was lucky to have Enterprise rather than he was lucky to have a customer. When I pointed to the Enterprise poster that said "As a Customer, You are Our Priority," he retorted, "Well, you're not the only one waiting." In the end, I had to wait FORTY MINUTES to retrieve my vehicle and this made me late for a client appointment. What I wanted to say was, "What kind of operation are you running here? You should request cars when you know that you will have an influx of reservations." This is not the 1st time that this has happened to me at an Enterprise location, and when it does, I NEVER return to that location.

First off, I was not prepared for the off-site rental car experience. Most airport rental cars are actually AT the airport. Nope. 10-15 min shuttle ride to an off-site "airport rental car center." But then we had the added bonus of Fox being at another place requiring ANOTHER shuttle. (Ugh). Arriving at the Fox location was... shocking. The appearance of this company was just so rundown, dumpy and frankly... it was a shit hole. Deteriorating stucco, rusty fences, sun-faded damaged awning. I mean, nothing about the exterior made me feel like we made a good decision. Then came the line. Expect to wait 45 min to an hour to get up to the counter. It was quite fascinating how many people were renting from this sketchy company too. Once you do get your paperwork, be prepared to wait AGAIN at the keys kiosk outside. The most pleasant surprise was our vehicle. Our last Fox rental was a beat up college kid's car, which shook so badly at speeds over 60mph that we felt so unsafe in that we turned it in early and didn't even get another vehicle bc we didn't want to deal with Fox anymore. So our thought was, "What rickety ass tin can on wheels are we going to get??" NOPE! We got a new Subaru SUV with 2800 miles and was SO NICE!!! Just be firm ahead of time with all the add ons that try to force you to get. The staff seemed ok. So our Fox rental wasn't horrible... the 2 shuttles, the crappy building, the long lines was definitely not pleasant BUT the car we got was nice and the price was good. Would we do it again??? Probably not but glad this experience wasn't a disaster.

But I probably saved $300 over any other car rental for four days. My only issue is the gasoline. Normally they tell you to bring back the car with a full tank. I was asked if I would return it with a half a tank or empty. I said I would return it full. They said no, half a tank or empty. Apparently those are the only options. They were bragging how they are $.20 less than in town, but unless you bring it back at exactly half a tank or on fumes, you will pay too much. Only need 1 gallon for your rental? Still paying for half a tank. Absolutely ridiculous. Maybe it was a hard sale tactic because the sales person gets a commission, but I would really like the option to return with a full tank like normal. Other than that, pretty good.
