We went ahead and took it and went on our way. After driving it for a while, the airbag light illuminated. I didn't feel safe driving it, so we pulled off in to St. George to see if we could exchange it for another car. Well, it was absolutely no problem at all. The rep that helped us on the phone was SUPER friendly. He told us to come on in any time and they would have a new car ready for us. We showed up and we're helped right away with a smile. Everyone understands that s*it happens, cars are cars. We got in to a very nice late-model Mitsubishi and went on our way. The rest of the trip was fantastic in our little blue Outlander at no additional charge. We are Enterprise customers for life. Thanks for a great experience!!

This review was long overdue and I apologize for that my wife and I rented a car to go on a…read morevacation trip and as always the person behind the counter was willing to take my money and get me into a car and get his commission on our trip in the picture down below going through a remote part of Utah on I 15 this huge 6 foot plus bumper maybe office semi truck was in the middle of the freeway at 2o'clock in the morning going around a slight curve I had no time to react to this humongous piece of steel in the middle of the freeway blowing out both of my front and rear tires keeping in control of the vehicle trying not to roll over while walking back to get this off the freeway to other vehicles at this exact same bumper and blew out both of their tires as well when the police came they took a report not sighting in this for fault and I called the emergency roadside service for enterprise this was the beginning of a long day and a half nightmare this guy hung up on me after giving information that there was nothing that he could do for me that I was outside 30 mile radius and expected me and my wife to take all of our belongings and be stuck on the side of the freeway while they towed the car away definitely concerned about the vehicle but had no concern for me or my wife and being a customer renting from enterprise. Luckily I paid the tow truck driver out of my own pocket and he let us ride with him into provo Utah where he dropped us off at about 6 o'clock in the morning and I had to wait after talking to another agent on the emergency so called roadside service until 9 o'clock at 9 o'clock I made numerous phone calls to multiple Enterprise rental offices not one which was willing to help or said they would call me back and never did in fact some of them were downright rude telling me that it wasn't their problem but I didn't read the car from their office so they had no concern for it. I counted on my phone almost 30 phone calls that I made through the course of the day to enterprise trying to get another vehicle so we could continue on with our vacation. I suppose if you're going to rent a car for the day any of them are just as good as the other but this company wanted to leave me stranded out in the middle of nowhere and I did not get any help until 7 o'clock at night where I finally got a hold of a gentleman at the emergency roadside service who was appalled at my situation. In less than 45 minutes this good person got me an Uber car and got me into another vehicle it took a day and a half of my vacation time and nobody except for this one gentleman at enterprise seem to give a damn. It was an extremely frustrating situation and I would never ever recommend or rent from this company again if there was a possibility to give negative stars to this company I would..

It was so horribly rough riding that it beat us up and bruised us physically. Worse, the truck made u turns by itself without any help, and was incapable of staying in its lane without using superhuman strength. It was a miserable experience. We used to drive truck in Alaska, this rental truck was exponentially rougher than anything we have ever experienced in 20 years of ice and gravel roads in dozens of assorted heavy haul and delivery vehicles. Unacceptable. When we contact the store in St. George, the (unexpectedly rude) Blonde lady behind the counter could care less. She even refused to pull the truck from in front of the store to the side lot to see what we meant when we said the truck was unsafe. She said, "it's in your possession still (paid for with the keys turned in the counter in front of her) so YOU move it." We did. Yes, U-haul costs more, but safety and more pleasant customer service reps are priceless. Avoid this place! Update: we were given a small discount for our unhappy experience by a very friendly company rep. The facts remain unchanged. I would prefer to never use Budget again, but appreciate the gesture. I've been a loyal Hertz customer for years, but after this recent experience, I will never rent…read morefrom them again. While traveling with my kids, the tire on our rental car popped. I contacted Hertz, and they assured me we'd receive a replacement vehicle at no cost. They arranged for the car to be towed to the nearest location at the St. George Airport and even ordered an Uber for us, clearly stating we wouldn't be charged. While we were already in the Uber they scheduled, they called us back and said we would be charged for the ride -- and even worse, that they had no replacement car available. When we got to the Hertz counter at the airport, the customer service was horrible. The staff was rude, showed no empathy, and made no effort to help us find a solution. We were stranded in the rain with my kids crying -- it was an incredibly stressful situation, and Hertz completely abandoned us. To top it all off, even though the hertz agent over the phone said everything would be covered, I was charged for both the Uber and the tire repair. We ended up having to back track 20 mins to an Enterprise location on our own, and the difference was night and day. The Enterprise team was kind, professional, and got us into a new car immediately. The transaction was smooth and stress-free -- everything Hertz failed to provide. After years of renting from Hertz, this experience was the final straw. They failed us when we needed help the most. I will never rent from Hertz again.
