Do not buy a car from here…read more The car they sold me was a lemon - it sat at the dealership and an outside electrician for 17 business days. They pushed me around during the entire process. During repairs, the salesperson promised to be in touch with updates as they came but was not. I texted her nearly every day and she rarely responded in a timely manner, would not answer follow up questions and would not pick up my calls. The dates she gave me kept getting moved. Finally, I decided I was not comfortable keeping the car as I felt this was a bigger electrical issue. I was prepared to talk numbers as outlined in Massachusetts Guide to New or Leased Car Lemon Law but the salesperson agreed to refunding me the price of the car immediately. This was in person on a Saturday (5/23) and they told me to come back the next Monday and the manager would give me a check for the price of the car. I sent an email confirming this information as I wanted it to be documented, then they reply back via email that the check will be ready on Thursday. They had just told me that they would give me the check on Monday, why wouldn't they tell me Thursday instead? I had to ask another employee to bring the salesperson out to speak to me as she took her lunch break instead of spending 1 minute to explain this. I come in the next Monday (5/25) as the salesperson said we can start paperwork then. When we get there, we're waiting about 15 minutes until she comes with a check for almost the full amount I paid them - the price of the car, registration, inspection, and tax. No explanation or acknowledgment that this was happening today or that they were refunding me everything I paid to them. I deposit the check on Thursday (5/28) but then on Saturday (5/30), the salesperson calls me. She says their accountant "denied the check" and to come in next Thursday and they will give me cash instead. She said she would tell me what time to come in, naturally she didn't and so on that day (6/4) I told her I would come in at noon. I get there and they say the accountant is out right now and to come back at 5:30. During this, another employee chimes in by saying the check didn't go through because I didn't deposit it the same day they gave it to me and that they have had this issue with other customers in the past. We stand there for almost 20 minutes waiting to speak with the manager, who is sitting in his office "on the phone with the bank". He gives us his word that at 5:30 they will have the full amount in cash for me. At 4:20, I get a text from the salesperson saying that they will only give me the price of the car today, and that I have to come back the next day (6/5) for the taxes, registration and inspection because "the payment goes through the DMV and takes a little longer to process" and that "the accountant just told us". We show up at 5:30 and both the salesperson and the manager have left for the day. The employee who handles finances comes out to deal with me. I ask him why I can't get the full amount they promised just 5 hours ago and he says in so many words that they do not have enough cash on hand. To my surprise, I actually got the rest of the money from them on 6/5. What kind of business are they running that they would take back a car before properly discussing it, that their check bounces, that it takes them nearly 2 weeks to come up with $4,000 to pay me back, and that they would push a customer around like this? It was excuse after excuse after excuse. Between the salesperson and the 2 other employees who spoke to me, no one could get their story straight. Their word means absolutely nothing. Working with them is a waste of time and money.

I have spent weeks looking for the right 2020 Ford Transit Connect cargo van. In Ct where we are…read morefrom I could not not find anything that was not either completely beat up or did not have the accessories I was looking for. I then started trying some of the dealers in the Massachusetts area. I found one place called Boston Prime Cars just outside of Boston. I gave the guy a call. He said the van was there and that I can make an appointment and come up and take a look at it. I spoke with the gentleman name Will, Will was very polite not pushy at all. Just a good salesman. My wife and I took the ride up to Boston took the vehicle for a test drive noticed it had a little wheel bounce. Had a small dent in the rim and I told Will about it. He said he would take care of it. The van was super clean and had all the accessories that I was looking for. I told Will if he would repair the rim that I would go ahead and purchase the van. I was then introduced to his father Jp. It was quite obvious where his son's professionalism and manners came from absolutely great people to work with. JP and I went ahead and did all the paperwork for the loan within a half an hour. I had my answer and he said that he would do all the paperwork and get the truck registered and ready to go in a few days. That was good for me. A few days later, Will called me and told me the van was ready to go not only did Will drive my van down to Connecticut to register it. He also replaced all the tires, replace two rims, replaced front brakes and rotors and all four hubcaps. On top of that, he detailed the whole van inside and out. When my wife and I took the ride back up to pick up the van, everything was ready. Everything was perfect. I cannot say enough about JP and Will for how they run a business and how they sell their vehicles. I own own business for approximately 30 years and I can tell you this I was fully impressed with every part of the sale. I would like to personally thank JP and Will for everything they did for us. You guys are absolutely amazing. I will be in the very near future purchasing one or more vans from you guys as well. Not only did I purchase a vehicle I feel as though a I made 2 very good new friends as well. Regards, Glenn Higney President/CEO Allcom Communications, Inc.

I asked around and it seems like everyone had issues with this place. BAD CARS and BAD SERVICE. I now have to spend over $1,800.00 out of my own pocket for a repair. when I got the truck I asked them i need breaks and they said they put on new breaks and checked everything and it was fine. after the 90 days my AC blew after a long conversation they finally fixed it and had to pay $100.00. Now i have a problem with my rear breaking system and my emergency break plus other rear end problems that's gonna cost me over $1.800.00 out of my own pocket. the rust on the body witch i was told they fixed it and was mixed at an auto body shop, i know see the rust coming back, witch makes me they did a half ass job. I will NEVER recommend anyone to buy a used car at Auto Brokers in Somerville..I traded my old car for a used car. My car has problems witch I told them, all minor problems like no AC..I bet you who ever purchases my old car will purchase my old minor problems.. Auto Brokers of Somerville really screwed me ..*****PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE****

They did fix some electrical problems but we're tough to deal with and acted like it was so wrong to ask for a decent vehicle for a high price. In addition, they took $500 off the sale online the day I put down a large deposit, and would not return the money, saying it was for someone who paid all in cash. That was a good cop out at best, but is illegal in MA. But they said there's nothing I can do to recover the funds, and I was stuck with a sick vehicle. Typical shady sales tactics and dishonest business processes. You can't trust them, and need to be wary about your excitement over buying a "luxury " vehicle when it comes to Auto Brokers.

Bought a 2016 Kia Sedona from these folks. Within 2 days it was broken down on the side of the…read moreroad. After spending a month at the shop waiting on parts, it needed an alternator (the entire bottom end of the motor had to be disassembled to get it out), some sort of throttle sensor (back ordered for a month) and a new battery. Essentially, the van couldn't be driven for the entire first month. Judging by the undersized battery installed in the minivan from some other vehicle, the dealer it knew it had an alternator issue but didn't want to replace it so they covered it up by putting a newly charge used battery in. So, things happen... it is what it is... the part that got me the most was the lack of customer service when all this happened. Everyone is all bright eyed and bushy tailed when you pay cash for the van but could care less if something happens after the sale. That's not customer service! You live and learn. I'll never go back or refer them to anyone else.

Haggling was zero - it is what it is they say. We paid as my son really needed a vehicle. Come Winter (less than 30 days, we noticed no defroster working - find out that air flow diverter broken. $800 - when brought to dealer attention they threw out the lemon laws for cars over 140k are only 7 days and not 30 - refused to even share the cost - we didn't test defroster or heat being summer when we purchased. A month later, son complained of zero heat. Saw that coolant was thinking. Mechanic saw leaky waterpump and 2 bids are almost $4000 - again, dealer refused calls, avoided me like the plague. We did buy a lousy warranty - 6 months from them - Penn Warranty, but they barely cover anything and their labor rates are $45/hr - no mechanic is $45/hr, so I have been trying to find a cheaper mechanic and when I think I do, warranty company gives run around. Again I call dealer to help us find a reasonable mechanic - they avoid calls again. This S&D sales is horrible - I wish I did more research. The owner buys junk cars and inflates prices beyond beyond - very risky, very shady, very non-customer service friendly. STAY AWAY - please!!! I want give ZERO stars but it wont let me but I hope I can save others from this heap of metal junkyard.
