This location has lousy inventory. Good chance you won't get your desired rental car. Had to wait…read more3+ hours to get my replacement rental car. When I did get my rental car it only had 1/2 tank of gas!! What BS. I not only lost time by waiting on the car at the rental location but I had to spend time to go to a gas station to fill up the gas tank. What a pain.... And, by the way, do you know they charge a $300 deposit onto your credit car when you rent the car. Gee, I wish I was told upfront about that. And when I returned the car I did not immediately get my deposit back. After 3 days I still did not get my deposit back. I had to go back to the location and complain about this........then miraculously I got my deposit back on the 4th day after I returned the car. That's BS too. There are much better rental car businesses out there. Don't go to Enterprise.

This was not a casual rental -- it was for a life‑or‑death emergency involving my mother -- so I went anyway. When I arrived, I waited until 1:06 PM while the staff insisted my credit card wasn't authorizing. My bank confirmed the charge, and I even showed proof that the transaction had already posted, but they still refused to process it correctly. No urgency, no accountability, no effort to resolve anything. I called the contact center for help and was transferred multiple times with zero assistance. The entire situation was a complete waste of time and added unnecessary stress during a critical emergency. This location failed to honor a confirmed reservation, mishandled payment, and showed horrible customer service throughout. I would not recommend this location to anyone who needs reliability or professionalism. THEY DESERVE NO STARS BUT YELP REQUIRES ONE TO SUBMIT THE REVIEW

With everything…read moreclosed that day, the process picked up smoothly the following day between my insurance company and Enterprise. I was able to get a rental quickly, and the initial experience was very smooth. The staff was friendly to everyone in line ahead of me, and myself as well, thorough, and took time to answer questions. When my rental period was nearing its end, I was able to call and request an extension without any issues. Things began to go downhill when I later spoke with Thomas about possibly downsizing my vehicle since I would be in the rental longer than expected. He said there were no smaller vehicles available on site at the time but that he could have one ready the following day. I understood and planned to follow up. During the same interaction, I asked about my balance. I was told I did not have one, which didn't sound right, so I asked him to check again. He repeated that I had no balance and said my payments would begin the following day, even giving me the amount. Since this was an insurance claim, I assumed payments may have already been made and went along with what I was told. The next day, I checked my account and saw charges. While the charges themselves were expected, it was frustrating after being told everything was clear. When I called back, it was explained to me, which was fine -- I just wish my reservation details had been reviewed more carefully from the start. Due to my schedule, I wasn't able to come in the next day. During that call, he stated, "I had one on hold for you yesterday, but you didn't come." I acknowledged that and explained I was unable to make it in, but his tone felt rude and dismissive, so I requested to speak with someone else. The next representative I spoke with was pleasant and helpful, but the earlier customer service left a lasting impression. Thankfully, I did not have to return to this location (despite previously being told I would) and had a very positive experience returning the vehicle at a different location. Not everyone rents a car for a vacation or road trip. Some people are dealing with difficult circumstances, and rude or careless customer service only adds unnecessary stress. Customer service doesn't end just because you're not face to face with your customer, it should continue in any context of communication. Because of this experience, I would not return to or recommend this location.

Had the service by Thomas , Joe, and Ricky at pickup and drop off. They all really make you feel…read morelike they got your back, and did. Joe wasnt letting the insurance play me over with a standard and thry gave me my upgrade. Thry checked in through a message portal and that was very convenient. Played with my daughter . I even saw how they made others feel real good and comfortable their insurance issues. Ill drive 30min out again to get some assistance if i need to. Hopefully not though. Only thing i would suggest for enterprise, get a tap to pay. That is all. Happy Holidays

Regardless, I found the service outstanding at the FtW 7th street location when I picked up the car and when I returned it several days later. While the Enterprise airport locations are open late, airport rentals tend to be more expensive when compared to other locations as the prices include airport fees. Also, a local must have a credit card to rent at airports but can use debit cards, with some additional paperwork, at all other DFW locations (my additional paperwork consisted of proof of my monthly socsec payments which took 30 seconds to get online & my most recent electricity bill which I also quickly obtained online). However, non airport locations in the DFW area have more limited hours, typically 7:30-6:00 on weekdays, & on weekends, most close while some are open for a few hours each day and some are open only for a few hours on Saturdays. Also, some locations allow after hour drop offs while others don't. To pick up the rental car, I took the Amtrak train, which was running late, into FtW. Though non airport DFW Enterprise locations close at 6:00, their last reservation spots are also at 6:00. As the train ran late, I was running really late; consequently, I took an Uber rather than public transpo; even so, I arrived about 6:20. I was frantic. I expected to find the door locked as I had recently at the Dallas location on Central at 6:03, but the door was open, & they were happy to rent a car to me. There was actually another customer who came in after me, & they were most pleasant with him as well. A couple of cars were also returned during this time, & the employees were also gracious & pleasant with these customers. When I was supposed to return the rental car, I underestimated traffic; consequently, the earliest I'd arrive was 6:40. I tried to call the store 2 or 3 times while I was renting the car, including when I saw how late I was going to be in returning it. If you call before 6:00, you may be put on hold for a long time, but you will be able to talk with someone by holding or by calling back, but if you call after 6:00, even if it's only by 1 or 2 minutes & even if employees sre still working, you will not reach anyone. While the employees worked late when I picked up the car, I didn't figure that they worked late every night. So, I knew they would not be there when I arrived, but at that point, I was so close that I decided to keep trying, & I'm so glad I did I also had to stop & get fuel so I wouldn't be charged for it. While I already thought they'd be closed when I arrived, I hurried getting gas just in case. Regardless, I didn't arrive until almost 6:50, & I couldn't believe they were still there & happy to see me. They quickly checked me in, & at 7:00 when I departed, they were still on the job, helping customers well past closing & doing so very graciously, very nicely, very pleasantly. I really enjoyed visiting with them while we conducted business. While the Dallas Oak Cliff location has very nice employees, esp a female supervisor who will go well beyond the call of duty to help you, I'd never before seen employees who are so charming & so nice & who act like they are so happy to help when customers arrive late even though such has caused them to work late. Not only was this the best Enterprise experience that I've ever had, & I've had many of them, it was the best experience I've ever had with a car rental company!!! I'd recommend the FtW 7th street location to anyone & everyone!!!

Upon returning, I was assisted by Ali. He was super friendly, helpful, and also provided really quick check out services. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was great with the car my experience. Thank you Thomas and Ali for such an easy process!
