I got all the paperwork done, license, Swedish ID, credit card info, etc. I even got reminders via email about the upcoming rental. Flash forward to the day of...I go to pick up the SUV and I am told it has been cancelled. No apologies or anything. So, we have a planned trip with hotels booked for a week, but no vehicle that fits everyone. There was no courtesy call or email or text or tweet or anything to inform me that the SUV was cancelled. THIS IS NOT OKAY! I can't fathom how they won customer service awards because clearly they are lacking. I've used Sixt many times in the past in numerous countries and this has never happened before. Only in Stockholm have I ever been mistreated. Please note that it says Central Station location, but it's not even in Central Station. It is about a 200m walk from Central Station. Anyway, just thought I'd let y'all know what went down. AVOID THIS PLACE! However, if you decide to use them, make sure you go to the store front and check to see if things are in order way before your impending trip.

There were two EXTREMELY HELPFUL and courteous employees who happened to help us after hours. I cannot tell you how incredibly grateful our family was for their assistance. I don't know the name of the employees who assisted us, but it was a miracle that they were available on that evening, after hours, to help us navigate the process because the self-service kiosk was not working. I often arrive late to the flat and have nothing so stop by here to pick up some essentials. Prices are of course fairly high but that is the price to shop outside normal shopping hours so no reason to complain. Have also rented a car here on a few occassions and prices are often fairly good for that so they are ok for that.
