Highly recommend Juan. I've had him out to the house for few a different occasions: - install Level 2 EV chargers - Troubleshoot and repair repeated tripped breaker - Install recessed lighting He's friendly, professional, honest and his work is rock solid. It's a no-brainer call for us anytime we need an electrician. read more

Allow me to add another 5-star review for Avila Electric. I needed to install 2 quad outlets in our house. My desire is to give those businesses that don't have tons of reviews a chance to keep building their business. I was pleased with the service from Juan, who completed this project. First, he replied to my phone inquiry quickly, gave me a fair estimate, arrived as scheduled, wore booties to keep our house clean, cleaned up afterward very well, and gave us a discount! Exceptional work, fast, efficient electrician. Very knowledgeable. We have used him for numerous projects for the last 8 years on two different houses that we have lived in since moving to Las Vegas. He has always kept his scheduled appointments, cleans up after himself and does exceptional work. We have never had any of his projects be anything but top notch workmanship. If you need any electrical work done at your business or your home, give Juan a try. You'll never call anyone else again. I guarantee it! read more

My yearly go to guy for all my electrical needs. I bought a house and he has fixed anything I have found wrong. He's required incorrect wiring. Replaced outdoor outlet boxes that were incorrectly installed. He's added outlets anywhere I've asked. He's installed new ceiling fans and chandeliers where there were none previously. He's replaced my basic medicine cabinet with a new lit and powered cabinet with outlets inside. He's replaced light switches with smart switches. I have been 100% happy with every single task he's completed for me. He is always on time and communicates quickly via text if there are ever any scheduling changes that are needed. You can trust Juan to do an excellent job and when it comes to your homes electrical this is not an area where you want anyone sketchy working on your home. So don't be cheap and hire the best. read more

First let me say that Juan's work is excellent. Over the years he has installed, moved, and replaced outlets, fans and lights in my home and garage. He definitely knows what he is doing. Juan is our go-to electrician! He has done 3 jobs for us and each time, he was professional, on-time, and - most importantly - great at his work. The 3 jobs he has done for us: - Installed a 220V outlet in our garage - Wiring of indoor ceiling fan - MOST RECENT: Wiring and installation of 2 outdoor ceiling fans He is prompt in returning any calls/texts. He is reasonable with his pricing. He produces overall professional work. On top of that, what makes him stand out is his respect for you and your property. I always appreciate him being careful with our things while he works. He cleans and picks up any debris after he is done which is definitely not something everyone does. Juan is an amazing electrician and you'd be happy and satisfied when working with him! Next time I need something electrical done, I'll definitely be contacting him. read more

A Merry Christmas Light Show! My son wanted strip lighting in his playroom for Christmas. Easy right??? Not so. After a few estimates & complicated install I finally consulted with Juan. He took his time during the estimate, listening to my needs & request. A few days later & without a hiccup magic! The install was seamless. He told my son about an app to link up the lights to music. Professionally done, great price & I highly recommend Juan. read more

Juan came recommended by a friend of mine. Juan is very knowledgeable, he's been doing electrical work for about seventeen years. We had him replace the mounting bracket for one of our ceiling fans and hang the new fan. He also wired our spare room with a new fan. Furthermore he checked and wired a few switches and a few outlets for us. Juan was very knowledgeable and did a great job. His prices seemed fair and his work seems dependable and accurate. I highly recommend Juan Avila for electrical work in your home. read more

Juan is fantastic and most highly recommended. He came to our home and quickly sent reasonable estimates for a number of minor and some not so minor electrical jobs our our home. He worked with us via text to propose fixtures and options and was easy to schedule. When it was the day for the job, Juan worked solo but got everything done quickly and cleaned up after himself. I would give him 6 stars if it was allowed. read more

Called Juan this morning due to his awesome reviews here with an emergency situation. Instead of telling me it was too short notice or he wouldn't be able to come out he made time between other jobs to come out asap and had my tenants up and running in no time. His professionalism and great attitude was a breath of fresh air and I will definitely be calling him for all of my electrical needs from now on. You're a life saver Juan! read more

I contacted Juan at Avila Electric based on his solid reviews here and was extremely impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, reasonable pricing and overall customer service. We had him install multiple fixtures in our home, and he did an outstanding job with everything we asked him to do. Juan was at our house multiple times to finish over a dozen different projects, and he was always punctual, communicative via text, friendly and extremely efficient in getting work done. Juan is a consummate professional and really knows his trade. We flip homes and manage rental properties for clients, and we'll continue to use Juan for all of our electrical work. I had a Ring Floodlight installed by Juan. He showed up on time, wore the proper PPE and did an excellent job! Highly recommended!!

I've used him for years. He's a pro. He's installed a near her cat5 ethernet plug for one job. To installing a ring floodlight, in another. Then a year later he installed a Electric Vehicle Charger. Then he's also installed a 10ft tall chandelier and three kitchen drop lights. My most recent big job, was him splitting my game room and living rooms that was one one 20amp circuit breaker into two 20 amp circuits so that the two rooms are separate and he made it look easy. read more

Juan is honest and straight to the point. Easy to communicate with via phone or text which for a busy person such as myself is essential as I cannot always take phone calls. My short term rental has string lights that burned out and we couldn't figure out why. After speaking on the phone with Juan and explaining our problem, I was able to make an appointment with Juan easily and quickly for the next day after his already scheduled appointment. Juan was able to diagnose the problem and explain to me what needed to be done to get our string lights up and running again. Truly a pleasure to work with, professional and fair pricing. Will be using Juan for all our electrical needs in the future. read more

Contact Juan for pricing on installing a small ceiling fan on our prewired outdoor patio and needed it done before the end of the week. We will be contacting him for our other projects as well. Thanks Juan! read more

I would like to thank Juan for helping us out in placing our lights and fixtures. I am glad to have stumbled upon yelp and seen his business. I called to have an estimate with my 4 lights and 3 fans for the house and he helped us out with our 3 bidets as well. I did not expect him to come out the same day but good thing he had a cancellation hence his service was available the same day. I am glad to have found our electrician. Looking forward to having out TV mounted as well in the future. My husband is very happy with the turn around. read more

Goes without saying that these reviews are spot on! Juan was more than easy to communicate with and very timely. He understands that your time is important and makes sure you understand upfront what general costs are. I've been quoted pay by hour and also pay by each project & I can safely say that Juan is more affordable without sacrificing any professionalism. I would trust Juan to come into my home unattended with our door code, that says a lot about how professional and friendly Juan is. I used him to install GFCI outlets and a ceiling fan and am beyond satisfied with the work performed plus the insight given to any questions you may have. I know ,without hesitation, I would use and recommend Juan's Team for any of your electrical needs. It's almost counter productive to leave this review as it will cut into his availability for my projects now that I think about it ! ‍ I'm in the process of scheduling him to install some recessed lights and will also use him to install some perimeter security motion lights. read more

Juan is awesome. My family & I have known him since 2018 and he has done work on my house, some of my family's, and two of our businesses. Haven't encountered a single problem dealing with him, and he is so polite and well spoken. Juan is a true asset to the Yelp community and to the Las Vegas area. I recently bought a Tesla model 3 and got around 8 quotes off of Yelp. Juan was extremely fast to reply and very honest. I hired Juan from Avila to do a couple odds and ends as I'm not comfortable messing with power. He installed an outdoor outlet, disconnected the power to a spa that I'm removing and replaced a couple GFI's that we're getting old.
