Good enough place. Just a small country gas station with a little fried food and drinks. I like the stone blocks out front :D

You can come here and run into just about anyone in the daytime. It's less congested and more peaceful in the evenings if that's your thing. You can dance or fart in the aisles if you want lol. Customer service is pretty good on the floor. I think they do a pretty good job staying stocked considering they're always busy. The front end is comprised of a lot of young cashiers who socialize with each other a lot. They do get the job done though. I wish they had a larger produce section, but that's just me. It's hard to find items for the health conscious individual at this location. I think those type of items aren't as popular. Their automotive and sporting goods department, on the other hand, is the best I've seen at any Wal-Mart. I didn't get a chance to scope out the garden area, but I'd like to see that too!

The person I spoke with, Shavonne, showed absolutely no sense of urgency. I even provided the Walmart RX number, and she told me, "I'm not pulling him up, so I don't know." I asked her to try searching my name instead -- she couldn't do that either. As someone who works in the healthcare field, this was extremely concerning. "I don't know" is not an acceptable response when a child is having a medical emergency. I then told her it sounded like user error and asked for a manager. She said the manager was busy. I told her I would hold. The manager eventually called me back (my phone had lost signal), found my son's information, and said they would get the prescription ready. I thanked her and told her we were an hour away -- she said that was fine. When we arrived, the pharmacy was closed for lunch. Given the urgency of the situation, they could have easily said, "We will be closed from 1:30-2:00," but no one mentioned this at all. I asked a regular Walmart employee if they could please get the pharmacist because my son was having an asthma attack. They tried but couldn't reach anyone. They ended up calling an ambulance -- and the ambulance staff was amazing. They immediately gave my son the medication he needed. While my husband stayed with our son in the ambulance, I ran inside to pick up the prescription since the pharmacy should have been open again. When I got to the counter, I was ignored for about two minutes until Shavonne finally came up. I told her who I was and that my son was currently in the ambulance outside. Again -- no urgency, no apology, nothing. She told me the medication would be $120. I asked if she ran it through insurance. She said my son "doesn't have insurance." He absolutely does, and it should already be in the system. She then asked Bella if she had the insurance card. I handed her what she asked for, and she snapped, "This is medical coverage." I told her she needed the RX card -- which she should have known to ask for in the first place. I didn't have the RX card with me, and she said, "Well, that's the only way I can proceed." I told her again that my son was literally sitting in an ambulance outside. She said, "I'm not going to help you." The ambulance staff came inside and asked if the medication was ready. I told Bella to please repeat what she had just told me. She said nothing. Suddenly she wanted to act like she had been providing great service, which was absolutely not the case. At that point, I told them to just ring it up at whatever price so I could leave. They told me it was $50, but Shavonne rang it up as $83. My son DOES have insurance, and this pharmacy was completely incapable of helping an out‑of‑town family in a medical emergency. Jason, the manager on the floor, did purchase the other medication my son needed, and I truly appreciate him and the store employees who helped call the ambulance. My issue is solely with the pharmacy. As a healthcare professional, I am shocked at the lack of empathy, urgency, and basic customer service shown by Bella and Shavonne. They need immediate retraining on customer service, communication, and professional conduct. I am giving the store itself 2 stars because the regular employees were helpful. But the pharmacy experience deserves 0 stars. This was unacceptable, especially with a child in medical distress.

This Walmart is a great store. For sure many people are used to many other stores to shop in if…read moretraveling through or whatever, and it is hard work to work in any retail environment, I know, but I think this store does an excellent job. I get very tired of some people saying negative things about stores that are really quite good. It is true that all employees should take pride in their work and spend less time being involved in things that are not work oriented, and that happens everywhere, but I have never had any issues at this store. It's a small town and offers other services, and this store tries. I'd like to know if those who are so quick to judge, so to speak, have ever worked retail? Complaining is easy when you can't see the bigger picture and yes, it would be nice to see a few other stores open, for the mental health of all people, instead of seeing businesses leave because they can. People need to work and big business needs to do its best to provide that instead of being unfair to communities who have served them well, and likely for a long time. You want more probably, but make do with what is available and stop complaining, they have a great selection, and their selection is up to corporate, and they seem to do a pretty good job as far as I'm concerned and the people who work there do what they are told, and sometimes that's like mission impossible, since some of us know how that works. The key is to stay focused as a worker and a consumer, so stop complaining and do your best it could be far worse so take your blinders off. This store has what you need more times than often, and the people I have seen working hard are doing their best! They are polite and always helpful. People are spoiled...they want this and that, or impose their superficial take on things, and well, most of us are there to shop, not show off and I find food, and the basics, and yes, they have auto service, so no, don't complain. This store is clean, and does its best, and that is that! Imagine what it is like to have to work hard for any company and restock shelves, lifting, pushing, tagging, etc, etc... and all the other things you as a consumer do not know about, so get over yourself, because this store does try, and I appreciate it and so should you. Grow your own apples if you think you can do better, go for it. Be grateful for things, and yes, we need a few more businesses here because the residents deserve that, not another coffee shop, and granola bars that cost $5.00, we need more than that, I can make my own coffee and do! We also need more smaller stores too, but this is a farming area, and big stores like Walmart who provide to this community are really great too, because farmers are very busy people and so is everyone else. The little man, he is the one who built this country, don't forget him or her and deserves a chance too, so see things for what they are, and remember, this store is a nice place to shop so respect it. Thank you.

As a poster-child of completely mediocre business models, it's hard to imagine a Wal-Mart location…read morewhere any aspect of the experience (products offered, service rendered, fellow shoppers encountered) is noteworthy. Other than the fact that there are very few alternatives in town, meaning it's likely you will see friends or neighbors, this iteration is no different. All the typical stereotypes and tropes apply, including having an absurdly limited number of open registers and a knack for discontinuing items as soon as you grow accustomed to purchasing them. That said, if you want quality organic produce when the local farmers' market isn't in season, this is just about the only place to get it. That alone saves it from one or two star oblivion - if only barely - but doesn't change the fact that shopping here feels more like a chore than anything remotely enjoyable.

I saw a video on Tik Tok by a well known hair salon owner in Dallas recommending him - LEGIT! Our hand-selected menu: - Prime Grade 16 oz Ribeye - American Wagyu 20 oz - Caesar salad (requested no anchovies but he usually adds them) - Brussels and crispy pork belly - Mushroom risotto - Smoked Gouda Mac and cheese - Herbed fresh green beans - Chocolate whiskey cake He will take custom food orders as well (even fresh seafood!). I cannot explain how EVERY bite of every item had incredible flavor. Delicious is an understatement. Chef Phil cooked, cleaned (counter/stove tops, took out the trash, loaded and started dishwasher), and provided nice to-go containers for leftovers. He did everything within 2 hours of arrival for two of us. The leftovers the next day were just as flavorful as freshly served! Reserve your date WELL in advance as his schedule stays full. Is it affordable? YES! I paid Chef Phil the same amount as going to a 5 star steak restaurant in Tulsa or Dallas and that included his time/travel (he should charge more!). The food was 5 star quality as well; actually, better! Besides being an amazing cook, Chef Phil is a kind, personable guy. It was a pleasure having him in our cabin, and we will use him on all future cabin trips!
