It was showing its age. People had stopped going--until then new people took over. It has all-new chairs, a great concession stand, and first-run shows. During the live action, Lilo and Stitch, Stitch was actually there taking pictures with everyone and there were wonderful extras for sale, like a great ceramic popcorn container with a 3D Stitch on it--my daughter bought one. Everything has been updated. What a wonderful nostalgic theater to visit.. We were hesitant to go, as we were here fifty years ago when this was one of the top theaters in town. But we simply could not afford the tickets at the other theater, so we finally broke down and went to a show. Wow! We were so surprised. The people feel like family, not a chain that you cannot relate to, but people who want to invest in our town. Their movies may not stay as long, as they only have two theaters, but it's certainly worth going if you want to see a movie and enjoy the show. 4 stars to the people who have revived it. Positives: They've renovated to where the casino flows better and they now have more table games. They have great complimentary drinks! The cafe is very affordable and cheap. You can get mozzarella sticks and a chicken sandwich for $9.00, that's about as cheap as fast food!! The dealers are pretty friendly and sociable. Negatives: To play table games its a 0.50 min charge just to play each hand. That gobbles you're cash pretty fast. Smoking is allowed inside. I hate going there because I smell like smoke when I leave. Maybe they should have a smoking section and a non smoking section. I think the waitresses that serve drinks to the table don't come by that often and are very selective on who they ask if they want drinks. Needs improvement.

Restrooms were clean and conveniently located near the doors to the auditorium. There was hair in and on the bathtub. Some of the towels were missing. Come to find out, the room was given to us but was never cleaned. They sent someone to clean it and the manager called to apologize and let me know the room was clean less than 10 minutes later. I asked how did they change the sheets and clean up in 6 minutes? She offered free breakfast for the inconvenience but we just ended up canceling the reservation.

We received a king sized room on the fifth floor and it was quite spacious. we did notice that the wood finish on many of the surfaces were chipped, and overall the room was really showing its age. The mattress itself felt like an old spring mattress, and it felt like I could feel the individual springs in the mattress; I didn't get all that great of sleep while I was here because of that. There was no safe in our room that I could find, so we kept our valuables on us at all times. Apart from the rooms, on check in we had some hiccups with the staff who had issues with our check in process, so we had to wait around for 10 minutes while they resolved things. Afterwards, they realized they did not have us do an incidental, so they had to call us to bring us back to the front desk to get it from us several hours after we checked in. They said we could come by at our convenience, but we received two more phone calls within half an hour while we were out enjoying our time. Their mistake became our problem, and we did not appreciate that. Aside from that, the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and welcoming. I felt very happy talking with most of the staff there for anything we needed. The hotel itself is nice, with its common areas and casino area very clean. There was no smoking inside so we enjoyed breathing clean air when we visited the casino. There is a grill that is open many hours of the day there, and a dinner restraint as well is open in the evenings. Is it nearby several restaurants, so food is easily accessible which we really liked. Overall, it was a good hotel, but we're not sure we'd stay here again unless we just wanted to conveniently gamble our whole trip without needing to leave.

The points in favor of this theater are the longer run. They have more screens so the movies can stay on for a long time, unlike small theaters. It's very professional compared to a small theater which is more friendly. They have a huge concession stand including icees. And I think they have an autism-friendly day once a month where everything is toned down not to overstimulate. It's a 50/50 on visiting. Military families, younger singles will probably love this. Older people who don't have a lot of disposable income will probably want to choose somewhere else

Movies look great, but I spend them wondering if my ears are really that bad or if this particular copy of the film has a damaged soundtrack. Then I remember that the sound system is at fault, and I wonder how I ended up here. Again. This is the theater on Ft Sill. During the week it is used for meetings and graduation ceremonies. On the weekend it shows second run movies at a reasonable price. Popcorn and candy are available, and most of the seats are not broken. I've never been to an official event in this space, but I'm guessing the only difference is a lack of snacks. Unfortunately, the cost of a movie here is more than I want to pay for the experience. Ticket prices for the first run theaters in Lawton are priced within a dollar, and have better sound. This is the theater closest to my house, but it is my last choice in town.
