I've been to both Chuck E. Cheese and here. Chuck E. Cheese has the feel of high tech nationwide chain. Lol has the feel of locally owned. Chuck E. Cheese ran us about sixty dollars more than laugh out loud for a party. There was more for three to five to do at Chuck E. Cheese and security system is better but laugh out loud has a fenced area for the younger kids and a skating rink. You can walk in shoes with your young child in the skating rink. The food? Chuck E. Cheese edges out just bit a bit the taste. They both run the same price. I preferred pepperoni pizza at lol rather than cec. All of the guests there were having a great time. It didn't feel as frenzied as the other place. Overall I think I really enjoyed LOL. Near the toys they have rows of chair for parents to sit in and watch Thor children. Though not as attentive as cec, lol has a counter to order from. No people walking around checking on you though they are more than helpful if you go up and ask. And the Kids' area is staffed!! Definitely try it out. Especially the skating rink or bounce house area and slides.

I booked a birthday party at LOL in December 2021. I live in Texas so had to do all of the planning over the phone with their party planner. It went smooth and everything turned out great. We booked their party room and all add ons. The room was spacious, they supplied balloons, plastic wear, plates, cups, pizza, and drinks. They allowed us to bring in our own decor, cake, and ice cream. They played games in the arcade, skated, laser tag, and played on the inflatable slide. It was in December (pandemic) so they wore masks had a Santa walking around and took photos with everyone. We ran over our party limit for the room so they set us up at their open tables so we could stay as long as we wanted. The kids played the whole time so the parents occupied the tables, mingled, ate, and drank. We enjoyed it and will be back.

The venue was gorgeous and perfect for a Christmas wedding! The food was amazing... the best…read morewedding buffet I've ever had! The prime rib/beef tenderloin was cooked perfectly! But the most incredible part about the entire day was the staff!!! From the setup, to the bartenders, to the servers! Everyone bent over backwards to ensure that we had everything we need... including anticipating what we might need. They even helped "pack up" and load our cars! Truly exceptional customer service which helped the event be perfect! I would definitely recommend this beautiful venue.

There was a beautiful ranch style home that was upstairs and downstairs and had a few bedrooms throughout the home (I didn't get a chance to walk around and view all the rooms) but I did see a pool table at the top of the stairs which was opened to overlook the living room and dining room. The reception building was beautifully lit with more than enough room and table and chairs to seat a wedding of 100+ people. And it was air conditioned!!! So that was a huge plus!! The bathroom in the reception area was huge and had a small loveseat in it for any mothers who may need to breast feed in private. But there was only 1 bathroom in the reception hall so that was a bummer. The only other thing that would've been nice but wasn't a huge deal was the outdoor seating area. Because it was 90-100 degrees there was no shade for anyone unless you grabbed the seats closest to the trees! But all in all beautiful place to hold an event!

Awesome! Lived in Plano over 20 years, never ventured out this way until now- ( Heard great things…read moreabout wineries in area! Folks not wrong!). Had the red flight, all good- Tempranillo was great- ( not a wine connoisseur folks, but these wines were good!) Ordered the charcuterie board as well- tasty- Service was fine- no problems there- What struck me was the ambience of the place- closest thing to the Hill country without being there! Hills like this in North Texas? Never knew- Views off the patio were great-If you're in the metroplex looking to escape for an afternoon- this is a short drive and worth it, ( Note; you will travel on some gravel and some hilly terrain)

Just go to Blue Ostrich. 4R loves to copy everything they do anyway…read more Legitimately the worst place I've ever worked. Got fired for calling the health department (which is illegal) because the owner decided to let an outdoor fridge full of food sit without electricity for 4 days, causing all the food (meats and cheeses) to go completely bad. Instead of calling the health department themselves LIKE THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE to see if the food was still safe to consume, they called "a close friend who's a professional chef", and likely gave them info that was all incorrect or skewed, because no professional I've ever met or worked with would allow a fridge to sit for 4 days in the heat and consider anything inside of it safe. The health department informed me that the food would have been toxic at that point and needed to be discarded immediately. When I informed Walt and Nicole, both were not only taken aback, but were actually mad and started slandering me about how terrible I was at my job. A former supervisor quit on the spot because of that exact behavior; them berated and belittling them saying they weren't worth their pay (after withholding money from their paycheck) Being fired for calling the health department is illegal, and withholding pay is also illegal. I got fired via email, with zero cause attached, so I can only assume they cheated the system and put "terminated without cause" to sidestep the actual reason. Nicole was, to put it blatantly, a slave driver. We declined alcohol sales to a pregnant woman and her visibly inebriated husband, and when they posted a baf review on Facebook, we all got reprimanded for it. Not only is it illegal to serve alcohol to someone who's visibly had one too many, it's morally insane to serve alcohol to a pregnant woman. But we were told if we spoke anything against Nicole's call, then it would be a write up. The food is made at some random dudes house, btw. Not a professional, not someone with a culinary background, not someone who's ever worked in a fine dining environment. Just a friend of Walt's. The food was made in his house, frozen, shipped to them, then thawed and heated in a toaster oven and served at nearly $20 for a small pizza. Horrendous. The place is run by the most insane couple I've ever had the displeasure of meeting, who are never on the same page, and would get into heated arguments right in front of the staff, and both loved to belittle their staff. Neither have any business running a company of any caliber, much less a fine dining winery experience.
