I'm almost blind without them. So, after a recommendation of a friend, I was pointed to Optical Vision. I went in on a Saturday after calling them and the sweet woman who answered the phone said that I could come in without an appointment. I went and was immediately seen by the eye doctor. He was kind, swift, and informative. The best part is that it's AFFORDABLE and it didn't take weeks (as it did with my last eye doctor) to get new glasses. By Tuesday, I had my glasses ready and am currently wearing them right now as I right this review! He really does have a lot of experience behind his practice and he is genuinely receptive to patient concerns. I also found the staff to be very helpful and easy to work with. When I was choosing my new glasses and frames, they were very patient and answered all of my many questions. They also were great at spelling out how my insurance covered different parts of the exam, glasses etc. In short, this is a good place if you're looking for a reliable option for your vision needs.

They are short and dismissive when dealing with them. They hang up on clients. I tried to talk to billing about my insurance denying payment for my last visit in August 2026. When I tried to start from the beginning, she HUNG UP ON ME. Then I called back to ask for Dr. Braunstein to call me. The same staff member answered the phone and yelled at me becaus"...I already told you I was leaving a message." and hung up again. I had my eye exam in mid-December, but it's now mid-January, and I still don't have my glasses. When my glasses were finally mailed, they didn't even use next-day delivery, leaving me waiting over five days.
