Mac and Cheese - A serving of macaroni and cheese with breadcrumb topping in a black bowl, accompanied by two black forks, on a wooden table.

We stopped by here because we didn't know what we felt like eating and this had many options! Restaurant was clean as were the bathrooms. The bar was pretty busy but things were moving. We ate at Firebird chicken sandwiches and Return of the Mac... both were tasty and made fresh. We had the "Plain Bird -grilled" with tater tots that were crispy heaven! The chicken was spiced well, tender and not dry. The Original Mac was creamy and the noodles were perfectly cooked. We would stop back by if in the area.

I loved my server Miranda she was absolutely exquisite. I didn't know what I wanted to drink and she was on point with the recommendations! Overall my boyfriend and I had the best time ever thanks to out server Miranda!!! We will definitely be back!

A place of surreal Alice-in-Wonderland vibes, decent food, and very tasty cocktails. You're here…read morefor the experience as much as a good meal (though the meal is pretty good). FOOD: I had an Angus Ribeye, which was tasty and done to precisely the color I wanted, but really needed to be trimmed of fat and gristle better. My wife had the chopped salad the whiskey sticky ribs from the apps menu, and liked both of them a lot. Servings were generous. The drink end is where things shine. Their Sazerac was excellent. The "Espresso" Ol' Fashion was quite good. The signature White Rabbit Martini (complete with flaming marshmallow) was kind of gimmicky, but quite drinkable. SERVICE: Our waitstaffer was friendly, helpful, and showed up as often as we expected. The place draws a lot of patrons, even on weekdays, so reservations are highly recommended. We managed to get seated as walk-ins, but it was a bit iffy and it was at 4:30pm on a Tuesday. They are also strict on how long parties of a given size are allowed to hog a table. That makes sense for the number of diners, but still felt a bit off-putting (though the duration given for a party of 2, 90 minutes, was comfortable). AMBIANCE: That's why you're here of course, and from the sidewalk stairs leading down to the plethora of Alice-in-Wonderland artwork on the black walls, the atmosphere is thick and delightful. VALUE: Premium prices, though servings are generous and the quality is good. NET-NET: Definitely a worthwhile experience. I wouldn't mind going there again on a future visit to the Springs.

However, when I went yesterday and the another time, it was not an issue. I do like how their menu is unique and the chef changes up the menu frequently. The place is very spacious with a nice view of the city from the balcony. There's indoor and outdoor seating and a nice happy hour. Duck confit salad: small fried duck piece didn't seem to fit with the sweet pear and dressing. There was almost too much lettuce and dressing has mixed reviews--last time was great but this time it tasted like oil. Filet mignon- so far my favorite on the menu. Not too heavy, and good cut of steak cooked perfectly. Bison short rib- tender short rib, but very heavy meal. Kind of reminded me of pot roast. Romesco salmon: good solid meal. The fish was cooked just right and the sauce was delicious. They could use a little more sauce. Wings: Average sized wings cooked pretty crispy. Served with ranch. Not bad. Brussels and bacon: expect a pretty large serving for a side dish. Very tasty for Brussels! Burger: Kind of underwhelming. Patty itself was fast food quality and cooked well done. The server recommended it to me but I wouldn't get again. Not horrible, but not anything special either.

I did appreciate this place having a dinner portion of a soup and salad that wasn't ridiculous in price. I opted for a Caesar and that day, a cheddar broccoli soup. We ended with a chocolate layer cake. The service was good and our overall experience here was pleasant. The food was fine for what it was, but was quite expensive. The ambiance was enjoyable, but there wasn't anything that was phone home worthy.
