I went here to obtain a handicap placard for my husband, due to a lot of fraudulent activity with the handicap stickers rules has changed and I understand this. What I don't agree with Aventura Auto Tag using this as an opportunity to price gouge unsuspecting customers. I paid $25 to renew my husband's handicap sticker. I didn't check what I was being charged for until I left and looked at the receipt. $4.50 for renewal, $3.50 for photocopies, (I provided the copies from what they told me I needed for renewal) $7.49 for plastic handicap cover (I didn't ask for it, I thought they were just giving it as a courtesy like they did 4 years ago when I came here), $3.50 disabled person verification, and $6.50 to call doctor's office to verify that he signed the paperwork. I know it's a racket out here but to use this opportunity to enrich your company is shameful. I won't be returning. The only positive about this experience is the young lady who assisted me was great, with a great smile and so very friendly. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! ITS BS! This is probably the most hefty price place, happened that the only way to do a title transfer here is with the only two nerds in the first windows and the rest of people there are just to renew tags, so after we waited for these people stupid problems about a fucking letter being wrong in their personalized tag, or another retard who got a fake asz mustang that was not even being recognized in the system for being a replica, the clerk at the window without even asking first about if we had everything we needed to get a new tag, she told us about we needed insurance before getting a tag, so we left to get insurance and since we didnt paid anything, we went to another auto tag that was even cheaper for doing the same thing. But, because this slick old lady there had already requested a title transfer and assigned a new tag to the vehicle we had to go back there to realized they were hefting extra 50 dollars in the total price, this lady waited at the LAST moment to say we needed to have 20$ dollars in cash supposedly for notary, and because we had no cash she like obligated us to use the ATM at this place. When at the beginning we had asked how much in total we needed to have, she couldnt mentioned this until the end after ofc we already waited. And it had to be cash, I was like wtf, is this your lunch money??? We could've got you some Taco Bell if you would've told us before like at the beginning. Never had a long wait. The line at any time was at most three people in. Copied all necessary information in anticipation of some pending paperwork to arrive so I wouldn't have to revisit with my documentation. Staff were patient both visits. They called when paperwork arrived in office and was able to finaliZe everything within 30 minutes. read more

Unbelievable. I have been coming here for over a year. Our dealership has been registered to this agency for years. You think that they would have better customer service. Today's visit broke the camels back. Besides various "rules" changing constantly, it seems this staff has absolutely zero concern for its customers. It's like you are bothering them with your presence. I have held several customer service positions in my lifetime and know that the number one rule when dealing with customers is that they always come first. These people will make you stand in line even when you have made the line twice already, you will need to redo the line no matter what There could be one on line and until they feel like it and only when they feel like it and are ready too will then make eye contact. At first, I thought that things would change or get better with time being a devoted customer but it just seems like it only gets worse. But beware of going to a private tag agency place they charged me double for my tag renewal and gave me a remark oh its because you have a lease. Knowing the year before I went to this exact same place and got a tag. Next time Ill schedule a day off to go to the regular DMV. read more

Highly recommend! I came here on Friday February 2, 2018 super last minute & was helped in less than twenty minutes (which if you had ever been to a auto tag place you know that's never the case.) There's a man named Steven who is just the sweetest and was the one who helped me at first and recognized the problem that I did not know was there! I had an issue renewing my tag online and was instructed t go into my local tag agency. I went to Aventura Tag Agency and could not have been more pleased with the friendly service. Neyma helped my through the process, which turned out to be challenging for her as well. She even had to call Tallahassee to help us through the process. Beware. Bait and switch. I called them over the phone to ask what the fee was for surrendering a plate on a car I sold and they quoted $5. When I got there they said it was really $10 because they needed a copy of my license (that they were going to charge me for making) and a form had to be filled out (additional fee). I left in disgust and went to North Dade Auto Tag Agency where they told me I did not need the form, did not need a copy of my license and the fee was $5 flat, no additional charges. Beware of the sneaky, dishonest management with surprise-hidden charges at the privately owned Aventura Tag Agency.!!!!!!! Total price for $2500 worth car with new plates, registration and title transfer -$709.00! which is about $121.00 overcharged compare to government DMV office(place where you would go for traffic court). $10 cash to notarize a form. Surprising 3% charge of your total bill -in case using debit or credit card( after you went through the whole process). Plus dishonest actions from the management: -when I asked to show me the sign where it said that there will be 3% extra charge when payed with credit/debit card, the lady manager, IN FRONT OF MY EYES, ordered security guard to put the 3% charge sign next to the service window where I was attended for the past 30 min, claiming that I didn't see it before!!! And denying that it wasn't there before!!! Than, I witnessed copies of the sign were placed over the office. Manager of Aventura Tag Agency rudely suggested to me to cancel the transaction, and to drive to the bank to get cash, so we can start all over again the process. Regardless of the polices in privately owned companies, it was a dirty and dishonest way to deal with the issue, playing with the customers trust and their valuable time. Hope that my negative experience at the Anetura Tag Agency will help you to save your hard-earned money, and also will help Aventura Tag Agency to improve their customer service relationship with their customers.
