The shop isn't big, but I'm sure there's something for everyone in here. The prices are very fair. I left with a really cool candelabra that came out to $55. The piece was really unique and I haven't seen anything like it before. I literally fell in love with it upon seeing it. The employees (or owners) were nice and welcoming. They also have a book where you can write down whatever it is you're looking for, and once they get a piece that matches your description, they'll call you. I really liked that. This antique shop is not quite like the others…read more First, it's a second generation shop (passed from mother to son) and has been around for decades. They specialize in antiques mostly 100+ years old. But what is really special (given that you're not in a rush) is the shopkeeper/owner Michael. He is quite a character and is always willing to share his knowledge on anything you ask regarding antiques. He is very quirky but has a very sweet and earnest demeanor. He can talk about just watches for an hour + and never rushes you out. I think his life goal is to saturate his visitors with knowledge! Also noteworthy is that this building is a protected historical site because it used to be the old Metuchen firehouse. If you ask (and sometimes if you don't ask), he'll give you the full tour (a nice history lesson, no charge). If you like learning about historical buildings, make sure you stop here! There is one thing that might need mentioning though--- the shop was on hiatus for a few years so there is some deterioration on the walls and it's a bit more cluttered than it used to be. So do pardon the appearances--- but don't fret about that as if you tell him what you're looking for, he'll probably be able to direct you to the correct pieces! PS. It also helps to call his number just to make sure he'll be there!

All very reasonably priced, which is getting rarer and rarer for secondhand shops. I always try to stop in when I am in town and usually walk out with something new! And the even better news is that you are right on a busy street with other shops, cafes, restaurants, ice cream shops, boba shops, everything shops. So don't make the trip here just for a quick pop in, walk around and enjoy Somerville afterwards. I do believe you can bring in things to sell which I desperately need to do! My Favorite New Consignment Store…read more From the moment I walked into the store I was surprised that this hidden gem was not the average thrift store. From designer handbags to beautiful sterling silver and gold jewelry, this store definitely captures my attention. The items are reasonably priced, and are in very good condition. The owner is very knowledgeable about the items he sells and is a pleasure to talk to. I Will definitely be going back soon!

Ladies there are quite helpful if you need their assistance or information on an item but you could happily browse at your own pace without fear of being bothered or pressured to purchase something right there and then. A little old-fashion but quaint nonetheless.
