Incredibly delicious, so much so we went back another night for dinner before leaving London. Pastas were fresh accompanied by sauces that are so good it's indescribable. Even the simple dish of Spaghetti is made excellent by its sauce which was bright with a bit of richness from the stracchiatella cheese. Other favorites include Malfadine al Tartufo,, Polpette, Margerita Pizza, and Tiramisu. Overall menu is inventive with some classics included. Menu changes every month. Makes one want to come back to try the different menus!
Service was equally good. Our server Zuza was fun, vibrant and provided great recommendations. Ask for her if you have a chance, she's a compliment to the dining experience.
Interior is tastefully modern, like a page out of Architectural Digest, especially the bar. We were seated on the main floor of the restaurant both times. Our booth, although nice and comfy looking, was small to accommodate the three of us, but the food, staff, and ambience more than make up for it.
Ave Mario is a popular place and the wait is long if you don't have a reservation.
I hear this restaurant group is opening up in the Florida soon, so something to look forward to closer to home. read more
