Well the ONLY REASON I gave them 2 stars is because Mariah is awesome - hands down awesome. She's…read morethe ONLY reason I've continued to go there for the last 6 months. In September 2025, the cost for having my lashes done went from $59 to $75. Pretty extreme if you ask me. I voiced my concerns to the owner. Her response was that they are now offering their own line and have more options for their clients. Nothing whatsoever is different about the lashes I am getting, so why the increase? In addition to increasing my charge - no one bothered to let me know ahead of time. I found out when I was checking out. Seriously bad customer service. Then, less than 4 months later they increased the cost AGAIN. Mariah called me the night before my next appointment to let me know because she knew I was very upset with the last increase and not being informed ahead of time. She's a sweetheart and really cares about her clients. Once again, I spoke with the owner about the increase. She told me that Mariah's level was raised so they were compensating her for that increase. Mariah deserved the promotion!!! However I further questioned the owner and expressed my displeasure with the increases. I informed her (since she didn't know and apparently didn't care), that their pricing had increased 44% in just 4 months. I told her that she was making decisions that would obviously impact customers negatively and had she given that any thought. Again, she didn't appear to care. Now, today I open the receipt for my service yesterday.... They charged me for some hairspray and my lashes and I included the tip. Once again to my surprise, a new fee had been added with no notice. I can't even believe they have the audacity to charge it - a "CONVENIENCE TIP FEE" of approximately 5.5% if you put the tip on your credit card. I immediately called and spoke with Layla asking her what the heck was that fee. She told me that they have a new system for checking out and it automatically charges that fee if you tip on a credit card. She did offer that I could avoid that by tipping in cash. My response - YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!' let me get this straight, your new system charges me in order to pay for the new system? She then asked if I'd like to speak with the owner. I told her no because she continues to charge her customers for anything she chooses without any regard for or any communication to the customers and couldn't care less. I will be submitting this review anywhere and everywhere I can over the next couple of days. It's a shame that she doesn't care that Mariah has now lost another client due to her poor management and business ethics. Done and done

*this review is not about Jodie*…read more While I am always beyond happy with my hair extension service, by Sarah Ridling, I had an awful experience with the salon front desk associate Melissa yesterday. I come at least every 6 weeks for extension maintenance, and am always accompanied by my son who is 3. Yesterday I had my 11 and 3 year old. Apparently my 3 year old was disturbing other clients, my back was to the door and I was not aware this situation was happening. Children will be children, I most definitely do not want mine disrupting anyone, and am always happy to rectify that situation. An hour into my appointment my husband arrived to pick up the kiddos and take them to Petco while my appointment was completed. Melissa first reprimanded my child by telling him to "sit down in the chair" and then turned to my husband and informed him that there had been "multiple complaints about your child" he responded that he just arrived, and he left within 2 min, taking the children with him. Out of respect for my stylist I did not plan to confront her, but as I was walking out the front door, she turned to another female sitting on a barstool, and said "that's her that's the mom". I came back inside and confronted her by saying "I do not appreciate the way you handled this situation, I believe it could have been handled a lot more appropriately" every time I tried to explain how I felt or what felt wrong about the situation she cut me off and interrupted me saying several phrases from "I did nothing wrong" to "I wasn't mean". Finally I said, "I am the client and you aren't even listening to me, how you approached this offended me, my back was to the door and instead of coming to me you addressed my child which wasn't your place and my husband who just arrived, to take the kids". She proceeded to tell me that her children and grandchild would never act that way, I said "well we aren't discussing a situation with your children or grandchild, but since you have a grandchild why didn't you come to me as his parent or offer him some paper and crayons and a solution to the issue?" Our conversation, if you can call it that, proceeded for several minutes, until finally it became apparent she was not going to listen or offer an apology for the disrespectful way she handled the situation and talked to me when I confronted her, she said "you can leave", I asked for her bosses phone number. She gave me Austin's cell with a snarky "go ahead and call him". When I called Austin it went straight to voicemail. My stylist being a caring person, called and said she believed it was more of an issue than we believed. She also didn't realize that he was disturbing anyone. To be honest I completely understand not wanting a child to be disorderly, sometimes he behaves perfectly and sometimes he's a little monkey. He is 3 years old, still learning what is right and wrong, and it's my job to teach him. I take full responsibility for that. My issue comes from how the situation was handled, she reacted very unprofessionally and inappropriately by addressing my child without me present, and then confronting my husband who was not a client and also had no idea what had happened. When I chose to leave peacefully, her unprofessionalism continued by talking about me before the front door even closed. When I returned to discuss the issue I felt very disrespected and as if it didn't matter at all that I was displeased with anything regarding my visit. Sarah's solution was that maybe I should just not bring my child on my next visit. I have always brought books or toys or Netflix to occupy him and he has never been a problem before. I informed her that I will find a different salon and stylist based purely upon the fact that the person who is the "face of the business" was so rude and disrespectful to me as a person and faithful client, I drove over an hour to see Sarah every 6-8 weeks and have also used lash services etc from other stylists.

But to review this salon is super easy! There are a couple of stylists who dont only leave their customers looking beautiful, but I also see the same repeat clients every time I go in! The place is clean, and beautiful, and just a wonderful environment to be in. As far as sending a review for Jona, that's simple! PHENOMENAL! Not only is she amazing at her craft, but she also spreads her love and helpful traits out into the community thru various events from free haircutting events for elderly or homeless, to angel tree events for underprivileged children. But as far as her haircutting and styling, I have been going to her for more than 10 years. She has transformed me from a brunette to a vibranr blonde and everywhere in between. Also, i had a lofe changing accident 4 years ago. Not only have the hospital stays wrecked my hair, but the repetitive visits and meds have made my hair so frazzled and thin that Jona does everything she can to slowly get me back to blonde and treat my hair to make it stronger. This last visit, she not only gave me the cutest hair cuti, but explained to me why going thru the process is healthier than jumping into using all the chemicals to make me instant frizzy blonde. She always thinks of the clients care and needa, therefore making her more of a friend than just a hairstylist.
