She spent the last 4 years at Villages and she was so happy. The staff was friendly, and matched her sense of humor by teasing along with her. Despite her being mostly bedridden, she was very well cared for....Always clean, and no skin breakdown. (As a nurse myself I know how much care is needed to maintain healthy skin on a patient who is in bed most of the time) Management was receptive to any request, no matter how small. They were willing to work with us always. One time they even transported Mom to take a tour of my sister's new apartment, just because she really wanted to see it herself. Getting her to doctor appointments was a breeze. Finding arrangements for aging parents is so stressful, however we feel so fortunate that Mom ended up at Villages.

I initially tried Walgreens, but they couldn't administer the vaccine after an injury had already occurred as it's their protocol and advised me to go to a clinic or hospital. I looked up local options and saw that Black Hills Urgent Care had fantastic ratings compared to others in town, so I gave it a try. he exterior looks great, and it wasn't busy at all. I was checked in immediately by the receptionist upon walking in. The interior is so pristine and serene that I almost thought I'd walked into a spa! A huge plus: they informed me that if I only needed the shot, I could opt out of a full doctor's exam, which saved a lot of money tho idk how much it would cost me since I was paying out of pocket.. After a very short wait in the lobby, a nurse brought me back to the exam room and administered the shot, after asking if I have any history of allergies she put a bandage on my arm . The whole process was fast and seamless. If you're traveling or passing through and need quick medical attention, I highly recommend this place! I'm also feeling safer since I found this place!

He took the time to fully understand the situation, reviewed her previous medical history, looked at her very physical lifestyle, and talked to her about her interests and activities. I had a horrid experience with my primary care office trying to get a new IUD placed and this office had immediate availability, which is why I made the switch. I only had my first bad experience this morning when the nurse and myself miscommunicated and she left the exam room frustrated with me. My provider then found it appropriate to suggest that "maybe I need more vitamin D because it can effect women's moods", which insinuated to me that they thought I was "just in a mood" for advocating for my healthcare. Which is too bad, BUT- If that's as bad as it gets it's still excellent healthcare in this town. I would highly suggest this clinic to anyone.
