Excellent service! My nails look amazing and Jenny was so much fun and great at her profession! This was my first time here and I will definitely be back! read more

Open late! This is a huge plus when you work late and chip a nail! The people who work here answer the phone and are actually friendly and helpful. I dropped in at the end of a long work day and they got me taken care of right away. I will look for them again in the future! Plenty of parking and a clean space - they set themselves apart from the many others in the vicinity! read more

Always satisfied with the services we get at Avalon. Pedis are always relaxing. We have no complaints on the nail work they do either. They always strive to make their customers happy. The owners, Tee and Johnny, along with the rest of their team are always so nice and friendly. read more

This place was ok. Had a few young girl help us and they were very nice and attentive. The work they did was just ok, my cuticles could have been cleaned better and my nails were so thin from the removal of gel polish. Nice but not a place I would go back to. read more

First time getting mani pedi with my husband for Valentines. Dong and Thao really made the experience memorable for us. The service provided was First class. We were pampered in a relaxing environment, soothing music, massage chairs, even birds chirping, a fish tank, TVs, beverages, the works! Most of all the care and delicate hands that made the quality of the service Top Notch! I admit I don't have the easiest feet to deal with Dong was very efficient and painlessly did a beautiful job! Thank you again Dong and Thao! We will be back! read more

Terrible service, My appointment was at 1:00pm ( I asked for fills WITH FRENCH) the lady who was doing my nails kept getting up to attend other clients. I understand places get busy but the lady would forget where she left off and ended up applying a whole different color of acrylic so I had to paint my whole nail when I went in for french. she had left again to do some other persons pedicure at that point some other man took over doing my fills and he was ready to add polish and as he was applying the polish she would have to remove it and file the nail down I ended up leaving at 2:40pm they only gave me $5.00 off!! never again thank you if I were you save time and money and book some other place the Nail Bar has amazing service ! read more

Kevin did an exceptional job! I came in close to closing time and he still was willing to complete my nails!!

This was the 2nd time that we visited El Paso and had to stop in to Avalon Nails. The service was spectacular as usual, but the added bonus was the serenade. Go in for a manicure and also get a song. I couldn't sing the praises any higher for this business . The staff is friendly, the services are amazing, and you'll walk out looking and feeling better than when you entered! After running errands today, we decided to go to Avalon to get pedicures.I've been here once before, years ago & they had good service previously, so I was excited to go. When I got there I decided to go for the gusto, and get a pedi, full set & waxing. My nail tech Kim was more than happy to complete all my services without a problem whatsoever considering that we were walk ins. She did a great job with every service & my sister was also very happy with her pedicure as well. Also, she offered refreshments, which was a very nice touch, in my humble opinion. Long story short, Avalon is my new go to nail shop! Looking forward to my next appointment! read more

All Good. Love that you can walk in! Calvin does a great job.

Every time I come the service is amazing and the people are so kind. Kim does great work and I LOVE my nails

The place was ok but the service was horrible they roughly would pull your hand and feet. They also wouldn't interact for a conversation. They made my teenage daughter bleed and not apologize. Not even a smile and it is expensive. read more

Sorry Yelpers I'm a bit late but I had to write a review on this place. I must admit they do have excellent customer service with out a doubt. And is very sanitary. when I entered you can smell the clean & freshness in the room I was greeted and was seated right away into a massage chair with a foot tub attached the technician did not provide me with her name but was very polite she gave me a menu of services offered I went with the $35.00 pedicure package but the technician kept insisting on other services and asked me if I was interested in the top package or if I wanted to purchase additional bath salts for feet I declined and said just a pedicure only she was very insistent on me getting a manicure, or facial etc... Even when I clearly stated I only wanted a pedicure that after I said No she spoke with other employees in a foreign language and 2 other women approached me and kept on insisting on providing me with other services they are very forward here I didn't like that at all I felt like I was surrounded by Salesmen. The Technician than offered me a gel pedicure she stated its better than a regular pedicure I declined but she kept on insisting claiming it last longer than regular nail polish. during my pedicure she was digging into my toe and cut me Ouch! Unfortunately the service I paid for was not provided my cuticles weren't clipped among other things that should have been done. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!! READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO GO GET YOUR NAILS DONE... I had a lady do my fill, she was doing my fill and then filing my nails. I requested a square shape and she tried to do it but they were still thick and not well shaped so I kindly asked her to file a bit more for me.... THIS LADY HAS THE AUDACITY TO HAND ME THE NAIL FILE AND TELL ME TO DO IT MYSELF!!!! I look at her and tell her I came to the nail salon for HER to provide service to me for my nails why would I do it myself???? She then just nods her head and takes her nail file back to try and file down but puts very minimal effort into her filing... SHE THEN HANDS ME THE NAIL FILE AGAIN I tell her I am not going to file my own nails.. if I wanted to file my own nails I would've done it myself at home..... SHE THEN TELLS ME "OK THEN DO IT AT HOME", I grabbed my stuff and said "okay I'm leaving" and walked out of there.. NEVER AGAIN GOING BACK TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!! read more

My gel manicure came out great, and almost 1.5 weeks later it still looks good. The reason for two stars is that I was told one price and charged another. When I called to ask how much a gel mani was, I was told $20. Upon my arrival, I looked at the menu which confirmed what I was told. However, the man charged me $30, and even when I showed him the price on the menu he insisted on the $30, even though I had no extra services done. Very rude. read more

I've been coming here for about 3 years and it was always perfect. I went in today asking for a specific design I wanted and asked if they were able to do it and the nail tech said he was. I came out with the ugliest design ever. read more

I took my teenage daughter and her friend there as a birthday present. The customer service was good and I think the initial mani/pedi results were pleasing for the girls. However, my daughter was nicked to the point of breaking the skin on one of her toes and now, two weeks later, we are dealing with an infection. I don't think we will go back. read more

I'm that one customer nobody ever wants to deal with, I'm your typical I wanna talk to your manager person lol it's the truth... I work for customer service so I always expect the same type of service everywhere I go... With that been said, Johnny here at Avalon is by far the best service at any nail place in the westside. Willing to do whatever you ask without a look or attitude, like all those other places. Love this place and Johnny Service! read more

Walked in for a basic eyebrow clean-up. Taken back right away. Minimal conversation, zero pain, out in what felt like 5 minutes. They look great. $10 plus tip, used credit card. I will continue to go back every 6 weeks until either I move, they close, or I decide to go for a more Sam Waterston look. read more

I came here on a whim because my regular nail place was closed. Walking in, the facilities seemed nice, but worn. They didn't have as large a color selection for gel manicures as my usual place. My nail tech reeked of cigarette smoke. His technique was sloppy -- for example, he didn't even use the cuticle stick on every finger. My nails don't look bad, but the tips all have a tiny bit of white nail at the ends, where he didn't cover it with polish. It isn't the worst manicure I've ever gotten, but it's definitely mediocre and not worth the $30 plus tip that I paid. UPDATE: After only two days, the gel polish started to peel off. Not a happy customer. read more
