Fuck these cunts!! They want to nickel and dime you for every item you bring to them. Look at the photo. All scuba equipment and a dog bed is neatly and compactly secured to the cart. They wanted to claim it as 7 -- SEVEN --items to store for the day. California Scuba Diving LLC will never utilize this service. All divers coming to the island should avoid. ANYONE ... anyone coming to the island should avoid this service.

Prices for luggage storage at the boat pier

We had an 11am checkout and a 4:30 boat departure so we needed to store our luggage. We went to talk to these guys the night before the get pricing and to figure out the best options without spending a ton. They were very kind and helpful and showed us how big the lockers were. We ended up checking in our bags for 5$ each. The large lockers could hold several sleeping bags, 3 regular sized backpacks, or two carry on cases (just from looking at them). Drop off and pick up we're simple (cash only).

    Rigos Moving & Storage

I just used Rigos for a studio move across LA and I have to say this was the best moving experience…read moreI've ever had! I was nervous because I have a lot of fragile and valuable items like paintings, canvases, multiple monitors, a full desk setup, and art supplies that I've collected over years. Moving all of that is stressful no matter what but these guys made it genuinely easy. What stood out most was how attentive the team was from the very first minute. They walked in and immediately started asking questions about what needed special attention, how I wanted things wrapped, what order I wanted things loaded. They didn't just grab stuff and throw it on the truck, they actually listened and followed every instruction without me having to repeat myself. As an artist that meant everything to me because I've had movers in the past who treated my paintings like crap. The speed was also impressive!! I fully expected the move to take most of the day but they were efficient without ever feeling rushed or careless. They had a system and worked together well, I was able to finish up some work while they were doing their thing. When we got to the new studio nothing was damaged, nothing was missing, and everything was placed exactly where I asked. The whole experience from start to finish was smooth and professional. If you're in LA and you have valuable or fragile items and you need movers who will actually treat your stuff with care, don't overthink it. Rigos is the move. I'll definitely be using them again. (:

They started great! I was ready to give them 5 stars, but the ending has been so purely bad…read more. So they got to my bed, and first they broke a slat bringing it into the house from the truck. Then the movers decided to not disassemble it before bringing it up the stairs. They banged my walls quite a bit before realizing they'd need to disassemble it anyways. So they did, but when they put it back together they used power tools. I didn't know any better (although they, the professionals, should!), but apparently that's a big no-no because you can easily strip the wood, and that's exactly what they did. Also apparently they didn't put it back together properly because i found one of its bolts lying on the ground after they left, not sure where that goes. But ultimately the bed frame was damaged, and now i need a new bed frame. Randomly, they also damaged the sliders on one of my dresser drawers. Luckily my boyfriend was able to fix it, so I didnt need reimbursement, just adding to give a picture of their carelessness. The movers went back to their truck as I called their manager, Martha, about the damage. Martha quoted me their $0.60 per pound reimbursement policy for damaged property. But then offered me a $25 discount. I said $0.60 on a 216.5lbs bed is $129.90. She said the movers told her it was 150lbs. (they were ignoring the headboard and storage drawers, but if I have to replace the bed, I also lose the headboard and drawers??) so she offered $50, then $60. But the $0.60 per pound for the 150 lbs she *thought* it was is still $90... so these offers were dishonest on her part, and honestly a little insulting. The movers wouldn't leave until payment was processed, so after a particularly stressful phone call with her I processed payment with the $60 discount with the understanding that I would email their claims dept for the rest of the money back. I emailed saying I wanted the rest of the $69.90, and they offered $40 in return for a 5 star review. I'm not sure why they thought I would think them stiffing my request by almost 50% in exchange for a dishonest recounting of my experience was a fair deal... but I decided losing out on $40 was worth my honesty, and them getting the review they deserve. P.s. they tried to say because my bed was 10 years old, the overall condition would have been affected. So they tried to make me think them stripping the wood with power tools is an age issue, and not a them using power tools issue?? My bed was working just fine before they broke it, thanks very much.

TLDR: HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, AVOID!!!…read more I don't even know where to begin. This has been the absolute worst, most stressful experience with a business I've had in my entire life. I used Aaron and his company Monster Moving in late 2022 to pack up my deceased father's things from his apartment. The items were placed in a storage pod from Stuff-It Storage (unsure exactly how these businesses are intertwined, but they definitely are) and moved to a location in Huntington Beach. For reasons I won't get into, I never was able to visit the facility. I decided that I wanted to move my items to a different storage unit with drive up access so I could easily access my things. I shopped around, found some good deals at nearby facilities, and then started the process of working with Andrea (owner, manager? - her title is unclear, especially when she claims to need approval from Aaron and vice versa) of Stuff-It Storage. This is where the trouble starts. I called Andrea at the beginning of October 2023 letting her know that I'd like my items moved to another storage facility. This was prior to my October billing date, and I was told I'd receive the paperwork to start the transfer, which never happened. I was charged for October and reached out again to schedule the move and to ask for a refund / credit towards the moving costs because of the unauthorized charge. I was told that I would be called back. Over the next three months that followed, she never once called back. I left voicemail after voicemail, sent text message after text message, and was put off, rescheduled, and eventually, my phone (and my boyfriend's) number was blocked and calls were screened. I was charged for November, and had been given FIFTEEN delivery dates, before they finally followed through. This was after continuously moving my schedule, hundreds of calls and text messages, and visiting four different addresses that I could find online - none of which was the current location of Stuff-It Storage or Monster Moving. I had more things I needed to store, and I couldn't continue to put off moving into a new unit. In December 2023 I moved into another facility, despite not knowing when I'd hear from Stuff-It or if I'd ever get my father's things back. I was hoping they hadn't been sold or discarded. I realized that furniture can be replaced, but sentimental items cannot. It's now January 2024, and after sharing my intent to file a police report (because at this point, they had essentially stolen my property) I was told that someone would be calling me yesterday (January 10), but of course that didn't happen. Then I was called this morning (January 11) to share that the team was at the warehouse about to load my pod (of course, I was skeptical because I've been told this before). I asked to be called when it was on its way, which happened, but even then I didn't know if they'd follow through, because they've lied before about being "en route". I took my sweet time driving over to the new storage facility, and I was shocked when I arrived at my new unit and the Monster Moving team was actually there. They had an issue with their lift (which I remembered happened the first time I used them, and they were four hours late and had to fix their lift upon arrival), but it seemed to be resolved by the time I got there. I greeted them but could barely speak, overcome with emotion, yet feeling numb all at once. Thankfully, the move was quick. They wanted to charge me $200 for the move, but after overpaying $690 (plus the rent at my new unit) I refused to do so. I explained to Aaron that I had been trying to do this since October 2023, and he told me that he had only become aware of the fact on January 2 that I wanted to move my things into a new facility. Andrea told me last week that Aaron had COVID, but he said that she told him that I wanted to keep my things in the pod a little longer. WTF. I asked how to get ahold of her and explained all of my efforts and neither he nor the other mover could help me (despite the fact that I think they're more connected than he let on). I left my new facility feeling a bit despondent, despite the victory of actually getting my deceased father's things back. I decided to file a stop charge and a dispute through my bank to ensure that I wouldn't be charged again and that I would get my payments returned - since I clearly will never get a response from Andrea about a refund. No one should ever have to go through what I went through with this company. I beg you to not give them or Monster Moving your business - you'll lose money, time and your sanity.
