I love living in Florida for a ton of reasons, but the heat is not one of them. My partner and I just bought a house not to long ago, and seriously needed up upgrade the window shakers we were working with. I'm not joking when I say that I called every single company in the area for a quote to have central AC, or mini splits installed in my home. I was willing to wait and compare prices due to it being a huge investment. A ton of other companies were trying to take advantage of my situation, and coming from a sales background I knew they were just trying to sell me shit I didn't need. Not only did Avalon Air and Heating come in with a super competitive price, but Steve was super honest and transparent throughout the whole process. I actually really wanted central AC (which would have costed me more than the mini splits) but Steve told me that the mini splits would be a better idea. Could he have sold me central AC to make more money? Of course! But he advised me to go the other route because it was honestly the better option for my current situation. Never once did I feel like I was being ripped off, and they offer a ton of financing options which is really nice. My mothers really old mobile home air conditioner/combo unit finally died. Steve was a referral from a friend who was very happy with the work that Steve had done. Avalon was called to help my 90 year old mother in Jacksonville who had no air in her house. With temperatures in the 90's (inside her home) it was a dangerous situation. I live in Nashville TN, and could only make phone calls. The Avalon dispatch person was kind and caring and they came out early Monday morning to take care of things.
