Vincent just left my home after repairing my air conditioning unit. It was what he called a "multiple offender." He meticulously went through the troubleshooting process to find and fix each offender. Vincent was professional and competent. He arrived early to the appointment and he worked efficiently though each step until my system was up and and running. LASER's trucks are stocked with common parts and the technicians are authorized for various brands like Goodman. I found the cost of the repair very reasonable. Laser air is a pleasure to do business with, from the point of first contact when they answer the phone. The office staff takes time to listen and answer any questions. They stand by their warranty and come by on Holiday weekends. The techs are always polite and friendly. I have never had to have one come back after he said its was fixed, to me this is awesome they know what they are doing. Also it was nice to see the same repair tech come out to the house from the previous year, not many places have employee retention. Well my HVAC finally couldn't be saved. Woke up to no air, called Laser Air and they showed up within the hour. VINCENT showed up and got me going enough to last till next day so we didn't suffer with no air that day. Scheduled a New install the next day. LASER is the best company to use. DO NOT USE MARIO'S A/C! They quoted me $7,800 for a new unit and $900 to replace the condenser/fan motor on my a/c unit! And since they didn't have the motor in stock, it couldn't be repaired until the next day! When my neighbor heard how much, he was shocked and told me to call LASER. Thank God that I did! They had a technician out within a half hour. He had the motor in his truck! Within 45 minutes, he replaced the motor, added freon and did a maintenance check for $325!!!!! They also quoted me only $3,900 for a brand new unit! The same unit that Mario's wanted $7,800 for! I'd heard so many commercials on the radio about how great Mario's was, so I was very disappointed and outraged that they tried to take advantage of me. They saw a single, older lady, with no knowledge of a/c's, desperate to get mine repaired, and basically tried to rob me! I will never call them again and I'll tell anyone who asks to NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. THEY'RE A BUNCH OF SHYSTERS! LASER was truly a God send! I would recommend them to anyone. They're fast, efficient, professional, courteous, and most of all, THEY ARE NOT SHYSTERS!!! There are no words to describe my feeling that they truly cared about me and my problem and were there to help, not to rob or take advantage of me. The service guy who came out to look at my air conditioning unit was rude from the get go. Before he left, he lectured me on how my air conditioning unit should never be set any lower than 74 degrees. When I asked him if it was because my unit was old, he replied that NO ONE should ever set their air conditioning unit at lower than 74. He was extremely rude and went on and on about how I was using my a/c incorrectly. I will never use this business again. Terrible customer service. read more

Tech was on time, but rude and unpleasant. Refused to listen to what we did to troubleshoot the situation. He told me he had a routine of things to go through to diagnose the problem. After he was done with his 'routine' he stated he had been at the house so long the service call was going to be $139 instead of the basic $55. Part of his routine was to look at the heat pump (where I think the problem is) and I watched him out the window, he didn't even take the lid off. He came back in and proceeded to tell me I had dirty filters and a 'piece of shit thermostat' and I needed to buy a new one from him (we bought a top of the line thermostat 4 weeks ago and it has been running flawlessly this entire time). I explained to the man if he had let me explain what I thought the problem was we both could have used our time more efficiently, and I was not going to buy another new thermostat, or pay for extended time. He then turned my thermostat off and left my house, saying he couldn't 'deal with me.' Total time he was in my home was 22 minutes. Thankfully, I was not charged. I went outside, took the lid off the heat pump and hit the side of the panel with a stick to get the corroded contactor to pull down, and now we will have AC until another company can get here with a new contactor. Had the tech even humored me by looking at the contactor, or listened to how I spent an hour on FaceTime with my friend that is an HVAC tech and I knew the contactor was the problem, I would have been happy to pay whatever the cost was. Instead, I have to reschedule my patients for the afternoon. Thanks Laser AC! read more

I used Laser two years ago and they gave the best price and fastest installation. The heating/AC unit is running very well still. My mother-in-law used them yesterday after being told she needs a new AC unit. She went from a $4,000 repair to a $145 fix to get AC to wait a year to see if a new AC unit is actually needed. The check reveal no noticeable leaks. Now we know what type of service we will get if the replacement is necessary since I already did that through them.
