I have always found Rinkway to be a very professional business, they give an honest appraisal of any problems with your car, and will not recommend an unnecessary work. Prices are transparent, you are told exactly how much the work will cost. Also, the staff, although permanently busy, take the time to explain exactly what has been done. Prices are reasonable and they ring you when the work is complete. Great customer service, I would recommend Rinkway to anyone.

Apart from the brand new cars there are also a few second hand cars that they presumable have taken in part exchange for selling a new car. These second hand cars have been put through a standard service at the place and so you have a bit more assurance than buying direct from a private buyer. We purchased a car from here a year or so ago and they were very helpful and allowed us to take it for a test drive etc and when we decided to go for it we also managed to get a few extras thrown in like road tax, service, new spare tyre etc. so they appear flexible and approachable. The place was clean and there were refreshments on offer, which I guess if you are spending thousands of pounds with them they can at least offer you a coffee to lessen the blow! They have a website and so you can search what cars they have on offer before you take a trip down there.

Basically he told me he's washing his hands of the car and I had to tow it away with the engine in boxes. I had bought the car after having them do the inspection in the first place. Garage Services in Newark…read moreand the Proprietor Steve Gray, who is a genuine and trustworthy individual who's competitively priced garage services are second to none. My own dealing with Steve started after my daughters car developed a fault and became un-drivable, we had it towed to our local garage who suggested a new engine at £2,600. This in addition to the £800 we had already incurred whilst they examined the engine. They suggested other options like the possibility of total engine re-build etc. Frankly I wasn't happy with their inconsistent and dubious approach, so started to look else-where. Paid them £800 and brought the car home. Called many garages and engine reconditioning firms, looked at on-line reviews all with that sinking feeling. Having previously left a message on Northern Roads answering machine, Steve called back and asked about the situation and symptoms etc, offered to pop round the following day as he was in the area and take a look at the engine. We looked at the engine, now in bits and he explained his thinking, observations and showed me the parts in question, it all fitted together logically. He was really helpful, the only person who I really had any trust in and took the time to talk through the options. I asked him to take the car, investigate and we could decide how best to proceed. As it paned-out the engine damage wasn't as extensive as the previous garage had lead me to believe. The cost was only a little more that I was charged for the original inspection, best decision I have ever made, I can thoroughly recommend Steve and Northern Road (Service & Engineering) Centre Ltd.
