Bought a Toyota Land Cruiser from Clock Gagrage. Salesman was very proactive contacting me prior to the sale. During the test drive the brakes were making a grating sound, which the salesman said was just due to rust on the discs as the the car had been standing and would sort itself out. It didn't sort itself out, so took it to a Toyota garage it turned out that it needed new discs, pads and calipers, which cost £1,689 to fix this was after Clock Garage just servicing the car. Other work based on Toyota's visual safety report came to a further £981.15. Additionally I had to have all 4 wheels balanced and aligned, as the car shook and pulled to the left when driving over 50mph this cost a further £90. I raised the brakes and wheel issues with the salesman and manager at Clock and never heard back from them. I would not recommend anyone buying a used car from Clock Garage. They are very keen to make a sale, but level of service is very poor. read more
