No longer the place for me. Went there for a while, but it's very expensive for basic services. Nails were very thick. One broke off after a week, taking a chunk of my own skin off. Not well versed on designs, air brush, etc. Would nick me 4-5 times every time I went because they were too busy looking at who was coming in instead of looking at where the drill was going. Very painful. There are only so many chances you can give someone, and "I'm sorry", just didn't cut it anymore. There's only but do much unnecessary pain anyone can take. I needed a quick eyebrow wax and I randomly saw this place. There was a long wait to get your nails done but they rushed me right in when I told them I just wanted my eye brows done. I don't use the word "rush" lightly. They literally quickly ushered me to their wax room. The lady who did the waxing did an "ok" job. She literally slapped the wax on, put the cotton on the wax without rubbing it on for maximum benefit, and then tore. I had lots of stray hairs left on after my visit. It was a really disappointing experience. It was nice that I didn't have to wait but you could tell she wanted to be doing something else besides waxing. Maybe she left a nail patient to come do my eyebrows real quick. I'm not sure but I know that I won't be returning to this place. Pedicures are good depending on who you get but the nails.....Came here for a fill a few weeks ago and the nails were bulky and polish was too thick. I didn't critique the fill too much since they worked over another shops. Needed a new set today. Tech was rushing and trying to work on me and two other girls. Nails are flat and bulky and one is crooked. I told her it was crooked when she glued the tip and said she has to shape. Shit is still crooked. Went here once to get polish with French on toes. Had a great experience service was only 10-12.00 plus I tipped on top of that.. came second time around 4 for same service.. the female said they don't take cards and I need to use ATM. Strange because I've been before and was never required todo so.. mind you the fee is about 4 dollars I told them I wanted to pay card I was never told other wise... she ended up charging me 15.00 for service which is much more than last time.. plus they were rude. I had a pedicure done, and I was pleased. I recently had an eyebrow tint done. The dye was placed too far above and below my eyebrows, and I was told it would wash off. Well, it did not, and I was frantic. I rubbed so hard trying to remove the dye that it caused scarring. When this salon first opened I liked it because they were very sterile and clean and had very good customer service. NOW they aren't as friendly, use old polish that needs replacing and they either rush your service or make you wait. I got an eyebrow wax and a pedicure last Thursday evening. I left there with wax residue on my face and the tech had to touch up my toe nail polish 3x before I left because it was old and was so transparent as it dried. She kept adding acetone to the polish bottle. And a couple of Sundays before I waited 45 minute before I walked out because I was never served. They should have a sign that says they don't welcome walk-ins if they can't accommodate. Time to find a new salon. read more

I did a walk-in during a rush so I can't fault them for being busy and was actually seated very quickly, however, past that point it was a pretty subpar experience. Never in my life have I been so rushed when getting my nails painted with gel- we were done in around 10 minutes (max 15) and the paint job definitely reflects that. Gel paint is unevenly pooled around my cuticles and is on my skin all around my nails. Ellen, the short manly looking lady that smacks on gum is rude and messy. I just left and two of my cuticles are bleeding because she pulled too much skin off. When I tried to complain, she yelled at me asking what did I want her to do because she has already said sorry. Rather than taking her time, she rushed through my nails and painted my cuticles. I'm currently searching for a new nail salon near my residence that I may visit frequently. I've seen this one during random stops at Ulta or Marshall's so I figured I would give it a try. It's really pretty on the inside but... Yeah... No, but allow me to explain. The nail tech pressed the nail clipper into my nail in order to cut it... Resulting in her clipping some skin underneath (ouch). She asked if it hurt but then didn't apologize. There wasn't any blood so I allowed her to proceed. The pedicure was basic (to say the least). EVERYONE knows that the most beneficial part of a pedicure is the massage.... Mine was nearly non-existent as my nail tech preferred to whisper and point (towards two male customers), so really it just took her a long time to rub in my lotion. Now I normally can overlook a small pinch mistake (sometimes) and a lazy massage (not really) but there was one thing that made me cringe. Whenever a customer was finished getting a pedicure, their nail tech would only remove the plastic covering before inviting someone else over to sit in the chair. They would not clean the foot bowl between the customers and would only place another cover inside of it. Keep in mind, in order to let out the water, my nail tech poked a hole in the bottom of the plastic (with the cuticle tool) and into the drain! That ladies and gentlemen is F'ING GROSS! I will not be returning and I'm soaking my feet in my tub with soap, water and a small dose of vinegar. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING! read more

I'm not sure who my nail tech was, but she needs to stay off her phone while working. My new gel set has sharp/rough edges, bare spots everywhere, and a few are legit crooked. I'll deal with them tonight because I have a job interview in the morning; but I will end up going elsewhere and paying to have them removed and redone the right way. The middle fingernail on the left hand (pictured) is angled, the index finger to a lesser degree; and no, my natural nails do NOT do that. You can see the bare edges on all of the nails on the left hand; and the edges keep catching on everything. I have to go home and waste my time filing them down, then waste my money getting them redone by somebody who freaking pays attention to the client and to her JOB. She also rushed me out of there, which was off-putting; maybe she should take an extra thirty seconds to inspect her work, so she can correct anything that's not right. Ugh. He hurt me numerous times and didn't seem to care when I flinch in pain and tell him "Ow you're hurting me". Another technician had to finish his job because he messed up my almond shape and got ACRYLIC on my skin and I couldn't get it off!! I went to this establishment for the first time on 11/1/17. I'm not sure of the nail tech's name but she wasn't very good. She rushed through my nails and though I asked for coffin shape, she got frustrated when I pointed out that some nails were crooked and needed to be fixed. On 11/4/17, both my pinky and my thumb nail broke. My pinky split in half and the thumb can completely off. I went when the first opened on 11/5/17. I was greeted by a man and I asked to speak with whom ever was in charge. I told him my issue and told him the lady who did my nails (she had short, curly, blonde hair) he stated she wasn't there and asked for me to come back the next day. Few moments later I saw her walking by in the section where the pedicures are completed. When she came up and I explained the issues she stated she didn't do my nails and I didn't come to that salon. I pointed out the chair we sat in and the color used. I offered to present my receipt and bank statement to prove I was there and got my nails done at the facility. The owner (I believe she was, did not confirm) offered to fix my nails with the lady who had originally done them. The tech who originally did them had a complete attitude the whole time, and the second lady who helped took over. Last night 11/6/17, a third nail broke and I called in to speak with the owner. They offered to fix today 11/7/17 and I am requesting a full refund once I arrive. This is not the usual place I go to, but decided to give it a try since it's 2 minutes from my house. I came here today because my friend referred me to get my nails done here for my sorority formal. I made an appointment and came in and I still had to wait about 15 minutes. I asked for the price with of gel on natural nail with a design, my friend said typically it's about 40 for that. The lady seemed confused and told me it was 55 instead of the normal prices. The painted nails I got were not worth the 55 dollars out of my pocket, it looked like something I could do at home. I had a gel manicure and a marine spa gel pedicure done today a total of $88. Yes, a bit steep but I'm really pleased with both services. I had the pleasure of being helped by Chris, a youngin only 4 months into his nail tech career. Chris was upfront with me about his experience and a few times reached out to colleagues to ask for assistance or answer questions. I definitely prefer someone asking questions instead of guessing and messing you up! Though I love my nails, Chris made the entire experience great by having a great personality. He was slower than I'm used to but due to the conversation it didn't matter much. I think if more employees were encouraged to build rapport with costumers there'd be more 5 star reviews! This nail salon is in a convenient location and I had been going consistently for about the last 3 years. During that time, though, the customer service has become HORRIBLE (they barely greet you at the door) and they don't appear to clean up in between customers. The last time I was there, there were nail clippings of at least 3 customers (judging by the different colors of nail polish) on the table where I was supposed to get my nails done. It was disgusting. I asked the technician if they cleaned in between customers and he just responded "yes" nonchalantly. At that point I decided I would no longer return. I'm a regular but lately the service has been horrible. The last 3 times I've gone to get sns different people either haven't been able to understand my simple requests--almond and coffin shape or have to get other people to come and help shape/finish the job. It's really frustrating feeling like trainees are doing your nails and can't even shape and on top of that it takes over 2 hours. It was so frustrating I had to grab the file myself to shape them before the guy came (saved me and for some reason easily understood me). Shaping should be the basics and then you dip. I was one of two walk ins for a pedicure on a Monday afternoon. The place was convenient to where we were so we decided to try. They were relatively busy but they took us back to the chairs immediately. I don't remember the specific name of the pedicure I chose but it was not the basic one. However I feel like that is what I got. It really was nothing special. We were sitting at the nail drying station when my technician came for payment and we asked if we could get our eyebrows done. She agreed and quickly took me back to the eyebrow room. It was a very fast wax job with no special attention paid to trimming stray hairs.
