Called ahead to see wait. No wait at the time so headed their way. Removed dip and followed up with a shellac mani. The dip was removed without any struggle. Nail beds were cleaned and new mani was well done. Heni (did not ask her to spell) was my person. Definitely recommend. read more

I walked in to have a manicure done; was seated in very quickly. We discussed for several minutes what I wanted done. It was fun to watch the technician / owner (?) work on my nails. My actual nails were in very rough shape. We decided to just cut them off and start from scratch. We all got a good giggle after the l-o-n-g acrylic nails were attached and I tried to figure out how and why any one could be functional with such l-o-n-g nails. I appreciate the time the technician took to build-up, shape and apply the polish. The atmosphere was calm even though several people were there when I arrived. There was quiet conversations going on throughout the room. Even the pricing board was easy to read; there was a noticeable and very readable signage about the convenience fees that would be applied if you pay with credit/debit card. Thanks for the great work and the enjoyable time. I'll be back for a pedicure in a couple of weeks. read more

Go elsewhere. Not sure why these reviews are 5 stars. It took us 2.5 hours to get a gel mani (which doesn't need time to dry) and a pedicure. They even had to redo my mom's gel nails because the polish was wrinkled looking and sloppy. The pedicure was ok - but done by a different technician. Really disappointed as we went based on high Yelp reviews. Very misleading. No color choices and the colors they do have are not in ample supply. called to make an appointment for a mani/pedi, given 3:15. I got there in time, waited for 15 minutes before a tech could begin my pedi. it took him until 5 to complete. the owner asked me twice if I really wanted a full set of nails (yes, I made an appointment and indicated this) I was asked at 5 if I was in a hurry as I'd have to wait for a tech for my manicure, they close at 6.... I got a manicure and pedicure and both look terrible. The manicure looks like a toddler did it. The pedicure was done by a nice little woman. It very relaxing and quite nice at first, but then the man came over to do the actual polish. He just slapped polish on my toes, but didn't clean them up. There was polish all over my skin and he didn't care. They don't speak English hardly at all so I couldn't even tell them the problem. Now to the worst part, the manicure. He kept trying to make them long even though I kept saying no shorter, again and again. They are still longer then I wanted. He didn't speak much English so I just got simple painted acrylic, nothing interesting. He starts painting my nails without giving me a chance to look at them, and I think that was on purpose. The nails are horribly uneven!!! I could have gotten a better manicure from a child!! Then I realized he didn't push back or remove my cuticles he just painted right over the top. So today, which is TWO DAYS later, my nails are already falling off!! The polish on top of my cuticle obviously didn't stay, so it chipped and now the acrylic is showing on the bottoms of my nails. I even got shellac which should last weeks!! The nails are already coming off because of the terrible job this man did. I would never return!! Over all this is a terrible place and you can't even tell them they did a horrible job because they don't speak English! The only lady who did speak any English spent the whole time talking about how she hated dogs! This is the worst salon I have ever been to and I will never be going back! read more

So many things made this place special and not so special. My daughter came with and the lady there took her in and painted her nails and toes for free, kept her busy, offered us water and juice... she was a sweet lady. My manicure however.... was horrible. It was done by the man there. While he was sweet and friendly he had no clue how to do shellac. My nails were uneven, the shellac was sheer even though it definitely wasn't supposed to be, he just didn't use enough polish. Neither of the two working appeared to understand or speak English either which made me trying to explain even more difficult. I wish i could say I would go back but I don't pay that much for crappy nails and then can't even express what I want because of the language barrier. read more

I usually need a manicure every time I'm in Decatur. The first time my sister and I came here, it was great. Efficient, relaxing, friendly. The last two times, the atmosphere is different. The technicians seem tense. I don't know what they're saying to each other, but the tone and volume feels like an argument. Not very relaxing. The nail tech did not soak off my shellac. She used coarse sandpaper and an electric gadget and it was not comfortable. I won't be going back. read more

Shop was very clean, massage chairs are fairly new and comfy. The classic pedi included scented salts in the water, hot stones and towel as well as calf and foot massage. They even gave my daughter a free soda and me a bottle of water...we'll return again. read more

I went here to get a mani and pedi the day before my wedding. I'd been once before years ago which is why I came back. I have been peeved about it since I left. I just wanted a pedicure and a gel manicure. Something easy and classic for my wedding. I had just had emergency surgery and was really looking forward to a relaxing hour or two before the events of the big weekend. The guy who did my toes took forever. I'm not quite sure how my pedicure took an hour but it did. I told him exactly what color I wanted- a very light cream/white. He colored my toes pink. I hate pink. I told him I didn't want that color and he told me it would "be fine." I told him I did NOT want the same color on my nails and showed him pics on Pinterest of the color I wanted. He started to put fake nails on me and I told him I didn't want fake nails. I have a 2 year old and work at Verizon and I'm on phones all day so long nails are a huge pain for me to work with. He told me they wouldn't be long and he would make them look like the pic I had shown him (the girl had short natural nails in the pic). He went to clip them down and they were still SO long. I told them I wanted them shorter. He rolled his eyes at me. Clipped them again. They were still really really long and I told him "I have a toddler and work with phones I can't have long nails." He said "But it's your wedding." I said "yeah, but I don't want long nails. I just wanted a gel manicure." So he clipped them again and then literally told me he wouldn't clip them further and would file them. I was damn near in tears at that point. I had just got out of the hospital, was in pain and had been there for 2 and a half hours and had to still get home and pack and leave for my wedding rehearsal in Peoria. I just basically shut up and let him finish them. I didn't know what else to do. The gel he put on top of the nails was see through and patchy. I called my husband after I left bawling my eyes out. I hate the way my nails and hands look in all my wedding pics now, and wound up paying for something I explicitly said I didn't want. Needles to say I'll never be back. I could have done my own nails better and should have. He made me feel like an idiot and was condescending and rude. I had to google how to take these damn things off bc I certainly couldn't go back and now my nails are ruined. TLDR: condescending, rude, ruined my nails for my wedding day and made me feel so bad I didn't even feel I could speak up after trying to multiple times to tell him I didn't want long or fake nails. Took 3 hours for crap. Made me pay for something I told him I didn't want. Avoid at all costs. read more

I got a simple manicure with shellac polish. He didn't even file my nails. I do have short nails but it would have been nice to have them shaped and all the same length. Instead they are exactly how they looked when I went in. The polish job is bad. He didn't get all the way to the cuticle and the tips of some of my nails are bare. read more
