I had to come home to give myself a better pedicure than I received. The staff was very friendly.

Will not be returning...looks like a toddler painted my nails. I also left with 2 fingers bleeding. Nail tech was upset because I was not interested in doing dip, I wanted gel and I had her file my nails twice...I asked for them to be very very short...apparently I was asking for too much. Horrible . Avoid this meat market I get a pedi and nails done to relax , not be rushed thru like cattle . I paid $42 for a pedi that basically was nothing more than changing colors on my toes and they use cheap polish. already chipped off in one day . Nails ? $27 for a fll that she didn't even get to the cuticle, what a mess . She gelled a hair into my nail and I have been cleaning exess gel off my fingers for two days . Went to get a full set on. Lady was too in a rush cause they were busy. She kept twisting my arm and slapping my hand because my hand wasn't "relaxed". Cut my fingers when filing them. Got them done on a Monday. Saturday they are needing filled because she didn't go all the way down filling them. Only good thing was the pedicure. The girl did a wonderful job. Won't be going back. I'll stay at my own salon. Paid too much for them to need filled already. read more

Best nail place around. Super friendly staff that ALWAYS gets me in, especially if I call ahead and make an appointment. They have such a great variety of methods and are very knowledgeable and know their craft. Love them! I always get rainbow chrome on my hands and get compliments all the time. I recently had a gel pedicure done here when I was in town visiting my family. I've been getting Gel Pedi's for years now, and NEVER have they chipped. I mean you pay more because of that. Within a week of getting my pedi my polish had a sizeable chip in it. Within 2 weeks the polish was falling completely off my toes in sheets. This should never happen with Gel! In addition to that, the man that did my pedi removed my existing gel with a tool that was like a pair of pliers. He didn't even soak them off, just yanked and tore and it was rough and uncomfortable. Next time I'll just wait until I'm back home where I know I'm actually getting quality Gel and my toenails aren't being pulled so hard. read more

I do not recommend this salon. I received a gel mani in 10 minutes. The station and tools very dirty. Cathy wouldn't let me wash my hands when I asked and swatted my hands if they weren't relaxed. I will not be returning. very disappointed as I rarely get my nails done. read more

I called the store to ask a question and the lady was very rude and hung up on me. I called back and was asked to not call back. I will be getting my nails done from some where else in the future. I would strongly avoid this place of business. read more

Had a really great experience! Kevin and Cathy were really friendly. My pedicure and manicure look fantastic. They did a hot stone message, lavender scrub, hot towels, everything. It was really clean and relaxing and we would definitely recommend! It's one of the only salons I've found in Decatur where you get a good experience and they do a great job. read more

Cathy the owner is rude, unprofessional, and rough. She swore with young children in the salon, mocked adults who had questions, swatted at my hands like I was a toddler while telling me to "relax". She messed up on one of my nails leaving a smear and I asked her to correct it. She said it would be fine and I told her I wouldn't be returning because of her rude service. Penny and Tammy have taken care of me since Nail Escape opened. They were booked at their new salon yesterday or I would have used them. Lesson learned. I won't return to Nail Escape, I'll wait for Penny or Tammy to have an opening at A&T Nails. read more

There is no rating for this place. I took my friend here from Florida thinking it would be a nice relaxing day. Cathy rushed through the pedicure, no rub, cut my toenails too short. Which has now led to me having a ingrown toenail. I had to have surgery now removing the whole nail due to infection. Do not go here. my friend then got her nails done. She ended up bleeding because she wasn't relaxed enough. This place is awful or Cathy is too rough. read more

The woman claimed to be the owner. She was mean, rude and bossy all because my hands and fingers were not "relaxed" enough for her liking. she twisted, slapped and banged my fingers, hand and arms throughout the excruciating experience. I could have had plenty of reason to charge her with battery. This was a vulgar display of professionalism. read more
