I have done soooo much research. Was getting crazy quotes for simple to complex work. We called AV Electric a few years back to install a Enel X Juice Box Level II charger. Did such a wonderful job. We also installed an Outlet on the side of our house. Again, such a wonderful job. Today we reached out to him for guidance and additional help on resolving our partial power outage. I called SCE thinking it was an outage. They said they sent someone today -- Never arrived. AV Electric was nearby and stopped by to check how much energy we were getting to further assess if SCE had to fix it. He fixed what I couldn't figure out how to fix. This was under 15 minutes by the way. It was a tripped circuit breaker! He saved our food from getting spoiled!! These guys are great! I'd totally recommend them! I recently had a power outage that caused some of my outlets to not work anymore. I reached out to AV Electric and they responded very quickly. I talked to Manny and he was very courteous. I explained my situation and he let me know he would be at my house in the afternoon. That same day. I was shocked usually it takes a day or two with other electricians to come to my house from previous experiences. He came as he told me with his coworker John. They quickly asked to see the panel and determine what the issue might be. They went and they came back and told me that one of my breakers was bad and might be the problem. They went and got the part. Once the installed it I had power in my outlets. I was overjoyed. I wish I had cash to tip but for my next issues I have I will contact Manny and AV Electric again. Manny and crew stopped by our house to give an estimate to install a ceiling fan, ceiling fan box and dedicated switch. They showed up the same day that we called them and spent about 30 minutes inspecting the attic and wiring and everything necessary in order to give us an accurate quote. They were back the very next day and installed everything in about an hour and half. We are very pleased with the work they did and their professionalism. Manuel Acevedo and crew (Juan and Jay) were great. Manie's entire crew was professional, knowledgeable, and meticulous in resolving my flickering lights problem. It was quite a mystery but they checked out everything and found the problem (that was) within my fuse box. Bad circuit breaker. The price was below what I expected to pay. If I could give 0 stars I would. On 12/05/22 they replaced a breaker in a bathroom. It stopped working again and I called them on 12/21/22. Manny rudely told me he didnt think it had anything to do with thier repair and made a snarky comments but said they take a look at it in 12/22/22. He made sure to tell me I would have to pay for the repair if it was unrelated issue which I said fine. They never showed up and ignore my calls. They wasted my tenants and my time. Any decent business respects thier customers and would call to cancel if they could not make it. read more

Just got myself a Tesla and needed a wall charger put in. There's something good about with a business when it's easy to schedule a job and they show up in time. I have been chatting with Manny via text regarding delivery of the unit and scheduling the job and he was so responsive and a joy to just discuss what was needed for the job. Well, AV Electric did do a darn good job the first time I called them back in Jan 2022. So, called them again for another issue. They asked me to text them as they were busy, and I did so. The guy said Wednesday afternoon was good so I prepped the area they would be working on but - no call back from them. No answer to my call. No answer to my texts. No confirmation they were coming. It's as if they simply do not exist ... or maybe they think we don't, hard to say. So, either they went out of business yesterday or they're just being incredibly rude. read more

A very pleasant experience from beginning to end. I'd been having trouble scheduling someone to install my ceiling fan. When I 1st called, I was able to schedule an appointment that fit my schedule, and gave me a great quote. A half hour before my appointment, Manny texted me with a confirmation of their arrival time. They arrived promptly, and I let him know where I wanted the fan. He carefully explained the entire process, and kept me informed throughout.
