Frontier Management took over in January 2022, now residents are fed sandwiches, and mystery mash. No appetizing meals as before the takeover, no chicken, salmon, beef, no real meat, not even McDonald-like chicken tenders. Sandwich comes with cheap deli meat, no tomato, no lettuce, mayo only. No nutritional food pyramid for seniors is evident. Guests are not allowed to eat in the dining room with their LO. Ex Dir stated she knew the food was bad, and not nutritional, but it was a supply chain issue. She offered no solutions. Hopefully change for the better will occur soon. Am supplementing healthy meals as well as HEB deliveries. No covid testing done on residents after they are quarantined. Very few guidelines via the State of Texas are enforced like those for a nursing home. New management brought in new staff. Sadly it is lacking a healthy actively engaging environment and cleanliness.

When it came time for my mom to move to an independent living community, Atria Senior Living was the only community that I toured for her. From the moment I walked through the door for my tour, it was clear that Atria was where she needed to be. I looked at other places online but none of them offered everything that Atria offered. I no longer worry about my mom's safety or well-being. From the time she gets up in the morning, the Atria staff is making sure that she is up and moving. She has three delicious meals every day. She goes to group exercise several times a week. There is music, movies, and many social events that she attends. And she has maid service once a week so she doesn't have to worry about her apartment upkeep. She is free to enjoy the fun stuff that is provided by Atria. The biggest change though in her life is that she has so many new friends. Moving to Atria is one of the best decisions we made as a family. No regrets.

One of the issues they had was with their air conditioning systems and fresh air units not working properly or at all. This issue causes unfavorable health issues. The lack of fresh air and climate control allows for unhealthy temperature conditions and the buildup of mold. We in good faith resolved their issues and prevented the State of Texas to issue fines and closure of facilities. Escamilla Company has yet to receive payment for rendered services that were provided back in the months of August 2018 through October 2018.

My Dad broke his hip and had a full hip replacement; both parents being in their mid 70's we knew he needed to recover in a place that would offer him safety. The team at Affectionate Care is like a big family! Everyone rallied to make us all feel at home and that's what it felt like everyday while my Dad recovered and needed full time care. The staff obviously love their jobs, it shows in how they treat all residents and the family who visit. I've been discriminated against as well. I speak up when there is a problem to try to work with my management team to find a solution but met with unsupported responses or no response at all. I've been Ignored and treated unfair. I will miss the loving residents and I'm sure they'll miss me as well. I loved working for Caydance Assistant Living. I was treated unfair for way too long. I hope the love I shared with the residents continues. They've been a blessing to me. These are two photos of an employee checklist that I typed up to help employees navigate the work day as caregivers. There was supposed to be a meeting a while back so that the Med Tech could state concerns but it never took place. The supervisor didn't follow through so I created a checklist to help. horrible facility, run by the worst executive director i have ever had to deal with!…read more the fourth floor is filthy! i had mold and fungus and cockroaches in my apartment!!! the maintenance and housekeeping services were nonexistent for most of the time i lived there! i was very sick from mold/fungus/bacteria the whole 8 weeks i lived there! many residents have diarrhea. the parking lot has no security guard or cameras. all four tires were stolen from my rental car; then, the next rental car was vandalized four times!!! i have pressed charges against hector ivon, the executive director, with the fort bend county sheriff! he needs to be fired! he verbally abused me, denied me my legal rights, and sent me an eviction notice based on lies! i have been a volunteer employee of the state of texas i office of the ombudsman for over 30 years. i advocate for seniors who are abused/neglected in facilities. this is the worst facility i have ever dealt with! residents are regularly abused and neglected. do not allow your loved one to live here!

Patients do not receive basic routine care or medication as ordered. I had to report them to the government "DADS" Department of Aging and Disability Sevices Services department to report lack of basic care & nutrition. Unless you go there every day to check in on your loved one, they will be poorly cared for. The facility is not staffed with enough CARING employees to adiquitly a take care of your loved one. Please search and research to find a caring facility other than 'Grace Care'. A good resource to start with is a free website called "A Place for Mom". Also FYI, a written complaint form is available at every nursing home to register a formal complaint. It has to be addressed by the facility by holding a meeting with you within 2 weeks of the complaint being registered. A discussion of the corrections they will make will be signed by you and the facility. You are to be given a copy for your records. You should bring someone with you such as a hospice nurse. You are entitled to have hospice services if your loved one is in declining health. You do not have to wait "until the end is near". Hospice is a great service. They are your extra eyes to make sure your family member is being properly cared for and it's covered by Medicare.

Seasons Hospice which has been great offered 5 days for mom to go to center. I told them I needed a week so I would have to pay for 4 days. Which all good with that. $824. For 4 days no big deal. Fast forward to unlimited calls to my cell phone at roaming charges on a ship. Mom was hungry, nurse aid from hospice found her laying in wet bed once ask for lady to change bed, she laid sheets on bed. Then two days later my daughter witnessed same exact thing. Then mom ask for some coffee was told she had to go to dinning room. Was told she had not had her meds as our nurse from hospice had left for her. Her blood pressure was 186/100 when we got her home. Again meds not given for blood pressure. Again you ask how I know meds were not given I counted pills before turning them over to them and then when I got in car. I go to take mom home and they offer a wheel chair, it has a plastic cushion in seat I lift it up and OMG it had food from weeks and weeks in the seat. I have been told sheets were changed twice only when bed was wet. Her clothes were balled up in drawer with clean clothes. This is only to list a few items. I get a call on my cell telling me they forgot her meds then I go today to collect. They say it is liquid morphine. I was told our nurse from hospice ordered it but then another nurse head said no so not sure who ordered it but has moms name on. They kept it which is fine if it is destroyed. I bet not. Fast forward to stories from mom which I weighed as her demented state. But o no after hearing stories from my daughter,grown granddaughter (18), and the care taker. I was sickened at the care my mother got. Not one great moment and in my opinion Totally Fraud! I trusted them with MY mother and they allowed her to fall twice in 8 days! This is unexplainable and wrong on so many levels. Yes I am taking this to the top and have filed reports with State and will continue to tell others of my experiences so No other family has to go through this! Pattie Creel 281-455-8001
