I had a great apartment location after moving from the 4th floor (with two dogs) to the first floor. The staff were great, and Doug - the manager - as well, did everything they could do to make the residents comfortable and happy. I realized there were some limitations on what the staff were allowed to do for the residents, so I was fine with that. I've worked in the public for 58 years, as I also know, you will never please everyone. There were often times when things went wrong due to weather, equipment breakdowns, utilities, etc, but nothing ever due to the negligence of the staff or management. Life in business, and in general, is unpredictable, but when you have a corporate office to contend and wait on approval, you can't always get everything done expediently. The staff and management would ALWAYS be there to pitch in and help make things better for the residents. The only thing is, I had to move to another complex due to cost of things at Watercrest that I no longer needed - but, not because I wanted to or due to ANYTHING I didn't like there. I loved it there and wish the place and staff at the place I've moved to was as great as Watercrest. If you are a reasonable and fair person, you will love it there!

The only kind, consistent and considerate people are at the front desk and some of the staff in dining services. Chrissy or Christy (whatever her name is) is clueless about her job duties and can care less. Her response is always and i quote, "I don't know you would have to ask Doug, I have only been here since November". I The Executive chef, Duran, can care less about the residents and their requests and concerns with food services! He creates menus that don't make sense at all! He is never professional in appearance or customer service and a big liar! They jack the prices of rent up but don't provide the services they claim are there! When you try to make a complaint to corporate, there is only one person there and she claims we need to send the complaint to her FIRST to review before submitting it! Which means it never gets reported, especially if it's negative! The turnover rate for employees is ridiculous! From the front desk to dining services says a lot about that place! It's sad, they charge so much for rent and take advantage of the seniors there, but never keep their word and it never adds up to services they state they provided! I would NEVER refer anyone here! It's a ripoff and a dishonest place to reside!

When it came time for my mom to move to an independent living community, Atria Senior Living was the only community that I toured for her. From the moment I walked through the door for my tour, it was clear that Atria was where she needed to be. I looked at other places online but none of them offered everything that Atria offered. I no longer worry about my mom's safety or well-being. From the time she gets up in the morning, the Atria staff is making sure that she is up and moving. She has three delicious meals every day. She goes to group exercise several times a week. There is music, movies, and many social events that she attends. And she has maid service once a week so she doesn't have to worry about her apartment upkeep. She is free to enjoy the fun stuff that is provided by Atria. The biggest change though in her life is that she has so many new friends. Moving to Atria is one of the best decisions we made as a family. No regrets.

horrible facility, run by the worst executive director i have ever had to deal with!…read more the fourth floor is filthy! i had mold and fungus and cockroaches in my apartment!!! the maintenance and housekeeping services were nonexistent for most of the time i lived there! i was very sick from mold/fungus/bacteria the whole 8 weeks i lived there! many residents have diarrhea. the parking lot has no security guard or cameras. all four tires were stolen from my rental car; then, the next rental car was vandalized four times!!! i have pressed charges against hector ivon, the executive director, with the fort bend county sheriff! he needs to be fired! he verbally abused me, denied me my legal rights, and sent me an eviction notice based on lies! i have been a volunteer employee of the state of texas i office of the ombudsman for over 30 years. i advocate for seniors who are abused/neglected in facilities. this is the worst facility i have ever dealt with! residents are regularly abused and neglected. do not allow your loved one to live here!

Frontier Management took over in January 2022, now residents are fed sandwiches, and mystery mash. No appetizing meals as before the takeover, no chicken, salmon, beef, no real meat, not even McDonald-like chicken tenders. Sandwich comes with cheap deli meat, no tomato, no lettuce, mayo only. No nutritional food pyramid for seniors is evident. Guests are not allowed to eat in the dining room with their LO. Ex Dir stated she knew the food was bad, and not nutritional, but it was a supply chain issue. She offered no solutions. Hopefully change for the better will occur soon. Am supplementing healthy meals as well as HEB deliveries. No covid testing done on residents after they are quarantined. Very few guidelines via the State of Texas are enforced like those for a nursing home. New management brought in new staff. Sadly it is lacking a healthy actively engaging environment and cleanliness.

My Dad broke his hip and had a full hip replacement; both parents being in their mid 70's we knew he needed to recover in a place that would offer him safety. The team at Affectionate Care is like a big family! Everyone rallied to make us all feel at home and that's what it felt like everyday while my Dad recovered and needed full time care. The staff obviously love their jobs, it shows in how they treat all residents and the family who visit. Our experience was amazing and I highly recommend them for long-term or short-term care for anyone you love! Mary Schlegel (Director) is very hands on interacting with staff, residents and family. She is amazing!
